when you go on blender for a desired colour you have to adjust lighting and shadows that is why the characters in the final project look different when we compare it to to the actual 3d models I hope this adds value to your learning process
@@KeshArt anytime you've helped me a lot for my art skills I ahve to improve a lot but I have com to a decent stage hope we'll collab sometime in future
Folksies! Gonna need your input on this video. We spent nearly 100hrs editing this and we wanna get better. so question! What did you like about this video? what was boring? and what ONE TOPIC would you like to see a video on? Let me know down below?
I liked the combination of seeing what was happening and also the aftermath;that moment when blender crashed down was funny 😅 although I understand that probably not to you at the moment 😅😅 hmm maybe a topic could be like how to build your own curriculum to learn drawing/animation/sculpting/etc.? Like, how would you recommend that someone's new to something create their own studying plan.
I really liked the like stopmotion paper animation you did, I felt like it was a mini short story and it was engaging. One thing that could be improved upon is the audio of the video, I see you have a rode wireless mic which is a good mic but it doesn't sound like it at 05:51. It kinda sounds like the cameras microphone. Anyways great work. I'm also learning blender and learning all the tools and shortcuts is a nightmare man xd.
Blendr is so difficult. It seems to require almost unrelated skills from drawing, painting, video editing, etc. Attempting to learn it was unexpectedly brain-bending for me, and I haven't gotten very far in my journey. I'm impressed at how far you got in 5 hours! Claimed my free month. Thanks!
Thank you! Hope the skillshare lesson helps. And It indeed is so different from drawing. The idea of "sculpting" with pencil is used in sketching but definitely not compared to actual sculpting. It was nice to see what can be done in 5hrs. Curious what a 48hr or 14 day Challenge would do.
Another Master piece from Kesh!!, I like how you got the concept of "5 hours" in your mind, but I don't think blender is something you can take up for such a challenge, cause back when I was starting to learn blender it almost took me a month to create what you have created now (usually people start with the donut tutorial and then progressively start making other things), so, maybe a 48 hr challenge is more apt,and further I was wondering , if you could paint 3d frames like that it makes animation a lot more easy , rigging the character might be a obstacle, but,(What stands in the way becomes the way ;) ). 🙃
10 / 10 better than if u got it perfectly right to be honest...it shows that even u are learning new things brings lots of encouragement for everyone learning from you..goodluck for the next time
Kesh, I see you have upgraded a channel recently. But I request you to put your old Vlogs and videos back on because they always Inspired me and i believe a lot of others! Your old Vlogs, sketchbook tours and all that! Even your realism drawings! So please please make those Videos Public again. Your videos have always been My NO.1 MOTIVATION to start and get things done! But now when I looked for the old vids, i couldn't find them. Take this in a positive way! Your new videos are great, but the old ones just has a different vibe that we all Love!
your videos inspire me learn more ,love you anna btw i am also learning 3D modeling in blender and the part i hate the most is texturing and lighting , it is so hard give you models good textures
I'm an animation student.. And yes tbh, the model you've done is so nice as a starter, even though I'm studying 3D, It took me more than a week to get this stage of modeling.. Lol 😂 And yes texturing is a lit bit confusing.. I use an addon called Blenderkit 😝 which has a lot of procedural textures in it (which is free) Anyway, have a great journey ahead in 3D 😄🙌🏼
Thank god u didn't go for the Donut tutorial then :D The secret to Blender is to watch and do as many tutorials as you can, just pick the tutorials which would be interesting to you. The Frogosaur looks nice 10/10
I bet this whole video just an ad for skillshare but honestly I think skillshare can help a lot. Still in 5 hours you probably can't get TOO far, I mean when we all booted the program up we didn't even know how to move around the canvas or the viewport I guess.
@@KeshArt Now that I have watched the video, I will say Skill Share definitely helped you a lot. You have gotten very far in 5 hours so yes you are a blender prodigy!
That is a super cool creature. I too am a digital artist. I created my own 3d model a few years back. Now I am interested to know what blender is about. Going to do my own research. Thanks for the small push.
Kesh, you are a monster! Five hours and Blender. So you go to Procreate and you crash all!!! Congratulations, man! I am your fan. And I started the 100 days. Soon I will send to you some of my illustrations. Tkx a lot! 🤙
Best of luck in your continuing journey to master Blender! I also am learning Blender, and I like it. Plus, the price is right, you know? I predict you will indeed become very proficient with Blender, and you will see vast benefits to your "skill stacking" strategy from learning all about it. Have fun!!
Please answer: I am 16, Am i too late for drawing and animation? because my friends and family told me that i dont have the talent and also i am very late to learn that. And if i'm not late then how much time it will take me to learn decent drawing and animation?
It doesn't allow of animation but 3d painting works well. And those two softwares are a world apart serving 2 different purposes. One is for intermediate 2d and the other is pro 3d

I don't know if that's toggled by default but Blender actually does have a file recovery option right at the File tab 😂
Learning is one thing, and being proficient is another. 💙
If you got to file and then recover the autosave option will be there click it and it will show you the last autosave sessions
Haha I was too dumb to know that
