That dealership markup is ridiculous.
That’s the msrp. These tacomas are WAYYY overpriced. I was set on getting one but not at those prices
I understand the MSRP but the markup putting the truck at $50K
50k is the MSRP with options and without markup, which is crazy but is what it is.
There’s no dealership markup, that’s the MSRP with factory installed options.

For reference I bought the first 2016 4x4 sport dclb for 35k plus tax etc. 😂
For reference, I bought (new) an Inferno colored 2016 TRD Off Road double cab long bed (model 7568) with the Premium and Technology package and Tow Package, bed cover side steps- it had everything but the JBL stereo that I didn't want. My cost was $36,400. That translates to $46,211 in todays money however the 2024 Tacoma I just described will be over $56,000.
I just traded that truck in for my new 2024 4Runner and received $26,000 for it in trade.
Love the design however 50k for a 4 banger 😮

My wife has a Lexus nx300 f sport with the turbo ,I can honestly say the engines will fail from the heat wait till you tow something!!
too too expensive! For the same price, I go for Tundra or GMC Canyon.
Do they give you the option to remove that front under piece? I haven’t seen any of the new tacomas without it

Does it not have a tailgate lock? I didn’t see a keyhole.
I bought a fully loaded Tacoma in 1999 for 16K🤣
17 years later the Biggest and best Tacoma was $36-38K
Overpriced
This is a great truck at $41,000, Its a piece of shit at $51,000. Toyota has WAY over shoot the price on this truck. After the initial wave (1-2 months) of "early adapters" buy these Tacoma's, Toyota will be forced to offer $4-5k in rebaits to get these things moving. The value just isn't there!!!
