I had a misfire on a GM 3.8 a few yrs ago that I struggled with found the cause by pulling on wires with engine running it smoothed out, the wiring harness had rub rash where it rubbed through on the braided breakline off of the master cylinder and was shorting out on that line causing injector to short out.
0:28 cylinder numbering on passenger side starting from the front should be labeled 1, 3, 5 not 1 ,2, 3? I find it odd that there are so many P0303 failures and not other cylinder numbers from the videos I seen so far. Just priced the coil at O'reillys and it is $39.99
I just replaced my oil cooler filter assembly in my 2014 charger. I did it myself and after 2 days it started shaking and stuttering while I was driving. Took it to aitozone an they read the code came up P0303. I swap that same part out and shaking gone and engine light off. Good video
Blessings and great info l, is that the same location for a 2014 Dodge Durango limited 3.6 engine cylinder 3 misfire, I change the coil and spark plug but P0303 code still came up and fuel injector #3 came up now also, and help or suggestions is greatly appreciated it, trying to figure this out asap please. Want to make sure I did change the #3 cylinder and spark plug, also is that # 3 fuel injector on the same side or do I have to take the whole intake off to get to fuel injector 3 any help will be greatly appreciated it much thank you much and God Bless
@@RBTheMechanic Blessings and hey, your quite welcome, well I changed the fuel injector so check engine is off Thank God but code P0303 is there tried to clear it but it’s still there, I hear you have to dried 50 miles or so and it should clear we will so I hope so, car running smooth and no shaking, but by auto lights was not on so my wife change to regular and the lights came on have to check and see what that is hopefully maybe a fuse, thank you much and God Bless
I have a 2013 Charger 3.6 P0304 cylinder 4. My mechanic gave it new plugs and coils, but also swapped the coil to #4 with another number but I still get p0304. Any suggestions?
I keep having a misfire on still in the five in my 2012 Dodge charger V6 and I did my spark plugs and my change my coils and I change injector as well still having the same problem
Any idea why my v6 charger is misfiring on cylinder 1? Then it will be fine and drive perfectly normal? Then be shaky for around 5 miles with the engine light chiming and blinking. It just started and did it for like 5 miles then drove absolutely fine for 40 miles different trips. Then be normal the rest of the ride with no chiming or blinking, shaking. Its a PZO301 and a PO201 code. Both misfires on the same cylinder 1. Maybe a loose wire or bad spark plug??
@@KL-oz8wz yeah I was confused at first but then I just replaced the coil it had misfire when first starting the car. Also when u take out the coil check to see if it got oil in the bore that can cause misfire also then valve cover gasket need replacement with center grommets
@@RBTheMechanic im going to take it to a mechanic hopefully in the morning. I just drove it about 7 or 8 miles. When i started it the engine light didnt even come on. Then after about a mile it came on and had a fee misfires for about a mile or two. Then it drove fine the rest of the 4 or 5 miles home. Its just crazy how it can be shaking and vibrating and then it just drives fine all of the sudden. Im hoping it isn’t something too expensive. Thank you for your help and time!
I have a 03 camry Le ( 120k ) and i want to start doing my oil changes myself , lube shops we never know what type of oil and filters they put on .. I know its SAE 5w30 , but its conventional or synthetic? And wich brand do you recommend ? Ty and its a pleasure to watch ur videos
Thank you for tuning in my channel anyways ur car is 2003 and got lot of milages so go with conventional oil I wouldn’t go anything expensive. I used lot of shell oil on these
But come to think of it, we never did see the car run good? Like he commented at the end about starting the car, clearing the engine code yadda yadda, but why didn't he start it up to prove boss status like he claim. Did that fix it, cuz it didn't fix mine.
Welll I guess next time I gotta show but customer is happy haven’t not come back and misfire is 100% fixed Well about ur car what is ur code and what did u do
At 0:12 you mention someone said, you don't know what the hell you're doing!! He must be talking about himself!, DAMN trolls!!! And yet you fix on s*** that's broken!, and you got a shop!!!🤔🤔🤔
Not to mention did all this using one hand. Great job
Thanks

I got a charger too. Misfire cylinder 2 but no loss of power and doesn't shake. I'd have to remove the intake to replace number 2 right?
I think so I do explain in the video where all the cylinder are just follow it
Have a misfire in cylinder 3 change my spark plug a coil and it’s still misfiring :/ any idea?
I had similar issue it ended up being injector bad
Did you disconnect batter to change coil?
No need to take the key out of ignition tho
I have a 2013 Charger 3.6
P0304 cylinder 4. My mechanic gave it new plugs and coils, but also swapped the coil to #4 with another number but I still get p0304. Any suggestions?
Need to change injector might be next step while open check compression in the cylinder

@@RBTheMechanic yes they are all new
What are is the next possibility if it’s not the ignition coil??
Injectors is also possibility and spark plugs oil in bore
I’m having the same problem misfire but mine is Cylinder 6! Where would cylinder 6 be located on same model?? Driver side?
I show it all in video
On the right side closest to the firewall. You will need to remove the intake manifold cover to access it.
If you are looking at the car it is on the driver side-from front of car 2-4-6 which 6 will be the closest to firewall
@@Gitnardoproductions is this the same for a 2019 dodge durango?
