Track mode doesn’t turn traction control off, it just allows for some slip. To turn it off you have to hold the button for 3-5 seconds until you hear a chime.

Thanks for clearing up some hidden features I got myself a scat pack shaker 2017.
I did the double tap before, it works but the one odd thing that happened to me twice already, was it turned off my dash screen and restarted as if I just turned on the vehicle.
BROOOO, i never knew that double tap drive mode button. I literally have the app like on the bar to click into drive modes faster, what a savior bud.
Got a 2022 charger sxt, I have an obd male cable coming in from the floorboard, got no clue wtf it's for. Plugged it in to see if it did anything, nothing. Got any ideas? Thinking it might be bluetooth obdII or something like that.

Help with 2013 AWD Hemi Charger. The fumes from the exhaust or engine compartment are coming thru the vents when I have the AC on. It's driving me nuts. I remove the second set of mufflers (resonators) and put straight 3" pipe instead after the middle mufflers. My sensor (air cabin/outside circulation button) is bad and I have to change it but if my memory serves me well I believe even with that button on the fumes still comes in. Why is this? It's worse during the summer months. Thank you very much antisipated for any info you guys might provide. 🙏
On ur keyfob press unlock 2 times, hold it the second time, windows will go down after a few seconds. Tested this on lotsa mopars.
On my Jeep it had to be enabled with the Tazer. I wonder if it works on mine

Hate when you have door open and put in reverse it activates the parking brake after a second. I get the safety aspect but when you're too close on your camera but just want to check your surroundings You are SOL

You mentioned the trunk with the little latch, did you know the inside of the trunk lid has a handle to put your hand in to pull down the trunk, very handy for shorter people and not getting finger prints on your trunk lid.

one that I found out 7 years after having my charger is that there's 2 screws under the hood that are to plug the jump cables. no need to plug them on the battery at the trunk.

Not every Charger has this. On mine it’s listed as a component of the Daytona package, automatic adjust in reverse mirrors.
If you have the memory seats and steering wheel function you should have it and it will be in convenience options I believe
Turn on Mirror Dimmer, my 16 scat pack does it automically
I got a R/T road and track with the adjustment of mirrors and reverse memory seat and steering wheel and I also got a button on my driver seat that adjust my gas and brake pedal
I wonder if mine has that option on the seat lol
@ 2:49 you can see a funnel housed in the under tray. This funnel is for adding fuel with a Jerry can. The metal flap in the "gas cap" will not open for funnels or fuel spouts.
I tried to add some sea foam first day of owning my 2020 SXT failed miserably tried to hold it open with my finger while pooring it in
My only issue with your first one is that if you leave your key in the car, if you grab the doorhandle twice, you can actually unlock the doors
Anti lockout happens when you try to lock the door/trunk twice. The third time, it stays locked and you’re screwed

I've done that shit at least 50 times over the last 6 years. When I wear sweats or gym shorts they always slide out my pocket into the abyss under the seat.
On the last one...won't that switch into manual mode ?? It'd be awesome if it remained in automatic while grabbing the correct lowest gear to get going fast
That feature at 4:32 was added to mopar a few years back when a Dads jeep rolled back and killed his kid. he swear he put it in park but i was in R and the door was open...son now we get this.....
The e shifter would go back to the same position regardless of being in drive, neutral, reverse, or park. This caused people to think they were in park when they weren't. There were numerous injuries and at least one other death of the star trek actor who was pinned behind his jeep. The lever to put it in neutral when the car has no power unfortunately makes them susceptible to thieves and I saw a dash cam video of a car rolling into the owner's house, it's not shown but the description said the lever was pulled by their kid. Apparently they hadn't replaced the cover when having it towed after an accident
You know in any mopar you can turn off the seat belt noise that dings when you don't have it on by putting the car in run mode while the Seatbelt is buckled and then unbunckle it and buckle it 3 times fast, then start it rinse and repeat for pax side, same way to activate it back on

Autopark will not engage with the door open if the seat belt is buckled. 🤓 I use it alot doing photoshoots of Mopars since it is usually small quick adjustments.
That auto park feature was actually part of a recall update in like 2016. Too many people hoping out of their cars not realizing car was still in drive and getting pinned or ran over by em. Also the reason they stopped the electronic shifter and went to the one that loves into place again

@@smhbrayDen it was a shifter that you moved up or down to choose the gear/drive and it went back to the center after that. Looks like a prototype to the ones that are in dodge cars now, but the new ones stay in the place they're moved to. It was basically like scrolling through the PRNDL vs moving the shifter to it's desired position

I think you may be able to do it with the Z Automotive Tazer but I’m not 100% sure. Check their website!!
None of the V6 models have performance pages. Not even the 5.7 Hemi, unless you get the Road and Track PKG. You'd need to get it unlocked, I believe PCM or one of the modules for it to work. Otherwise you gotta upgrade to more Charger (SP, Daytona, SRT, HC etc!)
The key thing would've been nice to know when I was bringing my pursuit home from the auction lot and all 3 keyfobs were low on battery during a fuel stop. This was happening when the battery in the car itself was having issues too, which made our attempts at jumping it way more frustrating.

One thing you forgot to mention would be to break the engine in before you start trying to win any race. I got 16k on my motor and I only go full throttle once a day to get all the built up fumes out you don’t wanna be to hard on your engine if it’s under 50k km

Another thing some new Charger owners may be unaware of is the handle inside the trunk used to pull the trunk closed so you don't have to put your grubby finger prints on the trunk lid. It's usually under the right side of the trunk lid (I think the 2008 versions might have had them on both the left and the right - my Scat Pack only has it on the right).

How bout door panel warping, now that it's hot out some of u will see this is a common issue. So common its a feature
Mine doesn't have that autopark feature, I can move it with the door open with no problem. Mine also doesn't even have a backup camera and it's a 2016 which is weird in itself.
Someone might have answered this, but @ 4:25 the auto Park feature can be overridden by latching the seatbelt. Annoying as hell but yes, a safety feature.

Put you seat belt on or behind you and you will be able to drive with your door open or reverse if you want to. This is what disable the safety features letting the car know that you are Secure and won’t fall out.
My charger actually doesn't allow that. Even while I'm buckled and the door is ajar it will stop dead in its tracks

4:45 well, this evolved because at some point, chrysler or GM had a lot of lawsuits that customer car rolled over some hill etc. They investigated and found out, that (and practically all of lawsuits from america, of course) people were exiting car leaving it on neutral, forgetting about brake or park - so it was not manufacturer or car fault, it was just that people being total idiots 🤷♂ so they did this nice safety-feature for the sake of everyone 🤷♂
On my 23 Charger RT they have a handle in the trunk in the palms up supinated position along the right side that allows you to close the trunk w/o touching paint

Key left in trunk.. I know for a fact that it will randomly open after you have been away from the car. I had one in my trunk and didn't know it, and spent 3 days trying to figure out why my trunk was open when I would go to leave work.
You forgot to mention that they are a pain in the ass to tow because the tow holes have plastic on the undercarriage making it look lower even though it only gets in the way

It’s def a safety feature! Someone tried to steal my car in my driveway! Left keys in car and he got in- i heard it crank, my son said someone’s in your car! I banged on my bedroom window and he was sitting, looking, and tried to drive off but he had the door open so it jerked him back! It wouldn’t allow him to take off! I grabbed my ___ and he took off! 🤷🏽♀️

I do it all the time in track mode... 🤔 also pro tip if you put the shifter in manual mode before then you can hold down left paddle, go WOT and immediately kick the shifter back to auto. Since the paddles can't seem to keep up on the upshift it will prevent you from hitting the rev limiter and losing your momentum. 🍻

Also, if you are using your car in manual & using your paddle shifters . Reach 80MPH hit the break and gas at the same time while holding both paddle shifters & it will unlock 50HP

All this information is in the owner's manual. No hidden features here. Aside from the fact that not all mentioned are available on every trim level. But still good for those who don't read the manual. Beautiful car!

You can do it before stepping on it, it works as low as 2nd gear, it will just drop it to 1st. If you do it after stepping on it it will just defeat the purpose lol

I have a 2015 Charger R/T . It has 44,426 miles on it. I had to replace the A/C compressor at 23,000 miles. NOW at 44,426 I have to replace the driveshaft! I bought it new. I got a piece of junk. I drive it like the old lady that I am. I am selling it after it is repaired. I hope you all got good ones!
Wanted to know why my key fob ain't working when pressing the lock and unlock button but when I put the key fob on to the push start button it turn on the car then it starts saying key fob has left the vehicle but I have the key fob with me in the car ????? So True. I own a 14' Escalade ESV and she's parked next to my 15' R/T. Its a gocart in comparison lol. Nah seriously my first car was a 68' Oldsmobile 98 4dr (same platform as other full sized Buicks and Caddys of that era) and that car is even bigger than my Escalade. I know these are big cars but my Charger feels more like a mid-sized car to me considering I also own a Crown Vic and Town Car. The Charger is the smallest car I own!
@LSp8 exactly. I drove a '13 challenger rt classic and im uses to driving a corolla. I was driving it semi hard around the underpass of a freeway and it felt more stable than my '19 corolla. Yes there are more stable cars than mopar but most ppl will say that mopars are stable enough and are not the land yachts they are
The mirror tilting and memory seats.. I wish I had those features on my Charger, sadly mine is an SXT and also doesn't have those features
They're a cool feature! I never use the mirror tilting really, but it would be helpful in cities i'd think
@@BJPLIFESTYLE honestly it'll help if it's a new style of car you're driving for sure, I gave my three month old Charger road rash last month because I misjudged the distance from the curb with my backup camera, also I'm a big dude so the memory seats and wheel would be amazing for getting in and out of the car

Lol I locked mine in the trunk. Tht bih stayed locked. I pushed the trunk twice it opened. Usually it’ll open right away like you said.
