I am perplexed as to why the idea of a woman having an Adam's Apple is still such a big deal. I know it's not common but in my 50+ years I've seen plenty of girls growing up, at work, or just around that proves to me that they are a bit more common than not. My childhood friend's mom had a big, round one that bobbed like crazy when she spoke. It look like she had a golfball stuck in her throat. So did a couple of my female elementary and high school teachers.

I'm a girl but my voice sounds like a boy's voice everyone is surprised when they hear my voice and someone people even ask if I'm a boy or a girl.. this makes me really insecure

You can voice train. Transfemme voice training would do exactly what you're looking for. You just have to take it very slow and be careful. But tbh, your insecurity of your voice might make it seem alot worse to you than it does to others
@@lsher26 thank you so much I'll try it but I can't help being insecure about it a lot of people ask me if I'm a girl or a boy.. recently I was on a trip and the person taking care of us on the bus asked my friends if I'm a girl of a boy and it hurted so much cause it wasn't the first time it happened sometimes even my friends say stuff like are you really a girl or they say people think of you as a boy because of your voice even tho they mean it as a joke, my voice before covid was like a girls but now it's completely like a boy's.
Well,my voice sound is good but as a girl having Adam's apple is really hard...ofc I got bullied in school becoz of this....I finished my school a year ago...but still it effects me ...I mean everything is fine until people look at my neck and they ask me the same freaking question y do I have an Adam's apple...ofc I'm a girl and this is my biggest insecurity...it's really hard but my friends noticed it but they never asked such questions 🥲..ofc I have a high pitched voice but my neck...it's hard
Puberty at 12, Well I did not hit mine until 18. Parents were terribly afraid that I want to be a trans women. Well , India has no concept of trans few decades ago. But, Trans existed in India and was recorded about 5200 years ago.
