Beautiful cover and fabric. Good instructions that are easy to follow. Which instruction would i follow? Thank you for the tutorial. I'm very new at sewing and I'm going to give this a try.
Hi! Thanks so much for watching. I adjusted the measurements of the foam stabilizer after I finished the cover. I think it’s much easier sewing the topstitch of the sides and sewing the top panel without having the bulk of the foam reach the edges. That’s why I recommend cutting the foam stabilizer smaller than the main panels to give room for our seam allowance. (One note: remember that we do want to foam stabilizer to reach our table so for the length of the foam stabilizer panels I would only subtract half an inch from the top only ) These would be the final measurements: 2x 17inx 12.5in (front and back) 2x 7in x 12.5in (left and right) 1x 17in x 7in (top) Hope that helps. Great job, you make this look so easy. I could totally do this, get all 4 sides perfect and then the top would be off just enough that it wouldn’t fit right. How would I deal with that?
Thank you so much. Maybe add some extra room for your seam allowance so if the panels don’t match at one point it still would be fine by sewing with that extra space. Half and inch seam allowance should work. But please remember to add some extra inches to your final measurements before cutting your panels. ✂️🧵 Happy Sewing! :)

Wondering the reason to not use one continuous piece for the sides and make one stitch (where the one piece wraps around to meet with itself), then sew the top down to this? Does sewing all four side pieces together help keep a square/rectangular shape better? That the reason? Thanks.
Hi, Thanks for watching! There are different ways we can sew the cover. I like to have separate panels so I can sew the pockets comfortably. Also, it helps with the shape and structure. That’s a good thought if you do not have a place to leave your machine set up and need to move it around. Perhaps there is a way to have an opening with a cover to do this. Altering the design that way would also force a solution to my question about securing the lining to the top of the cover.

Hope that helps! Thanks for watching! Happy Sewing!
I have another video for a sewing machine cover with new details here: ua-cam.com/video/wL3AdxD_q1c/v-deo.htmlsi=z8ABKHZfdS9lTCEd
And one for the Holidays here: ua-cam.com/video/sg1tnbztlGw/v-deo.htmlsi=zBTwrdwWTU4ExtoY
This tutorial is technically wrong. Lining is not attached to main part on upper side,so whenever cover is kept upright, lining will be falling down
Hi. I left a sewing note in the comments. To attach the lining to the main cover we need to hand stitch a few stitches to secure everything in place. Happy Sewing! ✂️🧵✨
Hi. I uploaded a quick video showing how to attach the lining to the main cover. 🎥 ua-cam.com/video/gwZj1elspRM/v-deo.htmlsi=Gpfmj5tBMVi5__g0 . Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

Would have been a great video but I totally agree about the music, its a sewing tutorial, I don’t get it. I’ve unsubscribed from so many channels because of that 😂
Thanks for your feedback. I will keep it in mind for my next tutorial.
No entiendo ni jota traducil en castellano por favor ❤😅

It amazes me that everyone thinks their video needs silly, loud music that plays on a loop. What the actual f….???? Otherwise, nice machine cover. I’m sure my headache will go away soon.
Just turn the volume down.
What happened to.. “ if you don’t have nothing nice to say, then don’t say nothing at all” 😂😂😂😂😂 music didn’t bother me! Maybe just stop being a bitch! The end! 😂😂😂😂 your comment gave me a headache lol
@@nancy9478 OHHHHHH. THANKS
Maybe there’s a nicer way to give that feedback in a comment? I’m not a fan of the background music either, but I didn’t find this one too distracting and it hadn’t registered as a negative.
