Earlier zig zag stitch to overlock with simple foot used to eat up my fabric so bad, but the overcast/edge joining foot gives such a good result. Everyone should have this foot and the invisible zipper foot absolutely.
When I first started sewing, I also hated using a zig-zag stitch to finish my raw edges because it would always get stuck and muddled up! But now I've tried this overcast foot it makes such a difference, so I totally recommend beginners using that instead!!
Great video. I have a brother also. I learned alot, some of the feet I have never used. What foot do you use for 1/4 inch. I'm a quilter and I don't see a quarter inch foot for the machine. Thanks for your help and have a good weekend.
So glad to hear you love the video! When sewing with a small seam allowance like 1/4 I still use my standard presser foot, i just align the edge of the seam with the edge of the foot ❤️

Thanks Tammy .
No worries at all ❤
My favorite foot is the buttonhole foot.
It really is amazing!!
Yes I would like to know how you make hems with your sewing machine mine does not do it unfortunately. Thanks for sharing.
I always sew hems by simple folding the fabric twice and stitching along using a standard stitch ❤️

Most buttons have holes that are 3.5 mm apart.
This is good to know!!
