Sometimes watching these folks sew is quite boring, so I like the tutorials that don't spend a lot of time on the sewing machine. I like this cover a lot.....love your presentations, Laura. Thank you for another great video 😊👍💕
Yes......great idea. I measured and made covers for my machines ......the idea for the handle opening is perfect as are the pockets😊 Like the idea of it laying flat...... I may even make a set of new covers.....😊
I want to wish you and yours a very Happy New Year and Thank You for teaching us so many useful and adorable projects with such Grace. You are a great teacher. God Bless.
Laura - there are so many sewing tutorials, channels and how-tos ; It can be overwhelming! Thank you for providing simple but not simplistic instructions. I love your videos and will come to you for clarification of a technique. Cheers!
I was watching videos on machine mats for me to make for myself for classes. Came across this one and just made it for a friend who does not travel with her machine and has to put it away in the box when not using it. She is going to love it! Especially all the storage because she doesn't have a lot of stuff and can keep it all together.
Sewing machine cover with pockets has been on my to-do list for quite a while. I love this easy style and the fact that you started with a template. A Christmas present to myself! Thanks for sharing another well-done video for us.
That was a wonderful idea especially with the added pockets. Gosh knows how many times I have lost my shears or seam ripper when doing projects and that would solve that issue. Thank you so much for such a clever yet practical project.🙂
❤❤that’s is the best machine cover video I have ever seen, that is so neat. Why did you select the non fusible over the fusible. Thanks for a great tutorial. Happy New Year and all the best in 2023. 🎉🎉
Another practical and beautiful project, Laura. That it's customizable is a really plus as my main piecing machine sits on a hydraulic lift below the acrylic table insert like you have for your Bernina, making it "shorter" than if it sat directly on a table. Now I can make a beautiful dust cover for my machine! Thank you so much, and I'm looking forward to being with you in the new year. Many good wishes for health and happiness to you and yours! 💛
I love your channel and projects you create. They are well planned, easy to follow, and look great. Thanks so much for sharing. You are truly appreciated. 😊
Thank you Laura for a simple yet very useful project. I am most certainly going to use your suggestions while attempting to have a base on the machine cover. It probably won't be possible to lay it flat under the machine though.
My janome has a hard cover but when I go to a quilting day I'll often find I forget the extention table. If I make a fabric cover to go over the hard cover with a pocket to fit the extention table perfectly then I won't forget it (hopefully!!). Planning to do this soon😁. Thank you so much for the inspiration❤. From Kathy in Cornwall, UK.
I absolutely love this idea! I have been wanting to make a sewing machine cover for my husband’s heavy duty mechanical sewing machine for a while, but haven’t found one that included something for a handle. This is perfect. You always make things so easy to understand. I hope mine comes out as beautiful as yours did. Happy New Year!!!
You always amaze me with your wonderful ideas and they come together so beautifully. Thank you for another “to do project”! I love it especially because you even thought of the extension table for it, which has been a dilemma for me. I hope you and your family have a great New Year!! 🎉
I have a request. I’ve looked all over UA-cam, and in other places, and cannot find a pattern that I need .I would like to have a pattern for my large embroidery/Sewing machine with the Arm attached. Could you maybe show us how to do it? That would be wonderful. Thank you so much for considering it have a wonderful day. I love your channel.
Is it ok to carry the machine and put it just like this in the car behind the drivers seat - wedged in carefully and not too tight, instead of putting it into the hard case that the machine came with? Is that what most people do? I am asking because after making this, I don’t think the hard case is going to fit properly over the machine.
I noticed that your videos, you don't show your work on the sewing machine. I wonder why that is? It doesn't bore me one bit. I actually would like to see an instructor demonstrate everything, every step of the way. For those who are not interested, they can feel free to fast forward it a bit.
14:37 that big pocket would be good for a trash bin for threads and dog ears that we seem to collect whilst sewing! 👍. 💖🌞🌵😷
Sometimes watching these folks sew is quite boring, so I like the tutorials that don't spend a lot of time on the sewing machine. I like this cover a lot.....love your presentations, Laura. Thank you for another great video 😊👍💕
This is a fabulous idea….it can be used as just a dust cover as well. Best wishes for a wonderful 2023!
Yes......great idea. I measured and made covers for my machines ......the idea for the handle opening is perfect as are the pockets😊

I may even make a set of new covers.....😊

The template is such a good idea. I made a stand mixer cover that ALMOST fit... LOL.
I'm sure the foam works better than batting....but would batting and a stiffer interfacing work too....?
You always amaze me with your wonderful ideas and they come together so beautifully. Thank you for another “to do project”! I love it especially because you even thought of the extension table for it, which has been a dilemma for me. I hope you and your family have a great New Year!! 🎉

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’d love to see a full tutorial with 4 sides. My basement is dusty thanks to litter boxes 😒😒😒
Is there any instructional video for a sewing machine cover that covers all sides?🤔

I think this was too complicated for me.
