  • Why everyone like to eat Japanese fried pork cutlet?
    I have seen interesting Articles before, a survey by a Japanese scientist said: Because eat a pork chops, you can experience a few satisfactions:
    1. The exterior crust is so wonderful & crispy
    2. Yet the meat inside is incredibly juicy & tender
    3. Crispy flavor through the nostrils... (= ̄ ρ ̄=)

    Crispy & Juicy Japanese Fried Pork Cutlet / Sakkuri Jūshī Tonkatsu
    Season 2 - Episode 11
    [ 2 Servings ]
    [ Ingredients ]
    Cabbage - 3 slices
    White bread - 2~3 slices
    * ordinary breadcrumbs - 1 bowl
    Pork loin - 2 slices ( roughly 1.5 cm thick )
    Egg - 1 piece
    All purpose flour - 3 tablespoons
    White radish paste - 200gm
    Tomato - 1 wedge
    Lemon - 1 wedge
    Spring onion - 1~2 stalks
    [ Seasonings ]
    Salt & Black pepper - some
    Water - some
    Soy sauce - some
    [ Method ]
    1. Prepare shredded cabbage: remove core & peel away, fold up the leaves & finely shredded.
    2. Soak in water, drain off excess water & keep into refrigerator.
    3. Prepare Panko breadcrumbs: tear off the crust from white bread & put into blender.
    4. Cube the white bread & add into blender.
    * does not have to be blend over, remain the coarse flakes.
    5. Make a couple of slits on the connective tissue between the meat & fat, season with salt & black pepper on both sides.
    6. Coat flour → egg mixture → lastly Panko breadcrumbs.
    7. Heat oil in a pot over medium high heat & wait till oil gets (175~180℃), gently lower meat into the oil, deep fry for about 3 minutes.
    8. Drain off excess oil by letting it rest on a drying rack.
    9. Place the shredded cabbage, tomato & lemon on serving plate, cut the pork cutlet into bite-sized & transfer to a plate.
    10. Serve with white radish paste or Tonkatsu sauce !
