- Another highlight reel of cats going nuts when trapped! These clips were filmed while Trapping feral cats for TNR with Operation fancy free, inc. in Jackson County, WV. The cats tare rapped for the purpose of spaying or neutering, then being returned to their homes. Full videos of the trap events are on this channel also.
Since 2013 Operation Fancy Free (comprised of the 2 people who started the nonprofit) has been responsible for the spay/neuter of over 4500 community cats! Bryan and Kathy work tirelessly to make sure more unwanted cats are not born in this area.
Please check Operation Fancy Free out of Facebook if you would like to support their mission!

Same! ❤️
That was one of the most satisfying videos I've ever seen. I'm a big fan of TNR and you guys appear to be doing an outstanding service to both your community and the cats. Thank you for posting this and for all your hard work!
Wow, thank you! We are certainly trying- some days it seems futile- but we keep on trying out best!
Unfortunately in Australia we don't have a TNR program any cat who is found roaming the streets with no collared, identify tag &/or microchipped &/or desexed will be taken to a shelter and adopted out but if they are feral they will be put down, in Australia all cats born after 2018 have to be microchipped, desexed and registered with the local council in most states in Australia its against the law to sell kittens without a breeder licenses and in some cases they have to be desexing too before selling
Oh my goodness that sounds amazing! Minus the putting them down part. I mean I know why they do it, even if they had sanctuaries set up for ferals, they’d get full so fast. But the whole mandatory chip, spay/neuter and registration is AMAZING.
I love it when people free cats and not force em to be pets
are you crazy, read any article by the audubon society on cats. at least these cats arent making more, sigh.
One cat was like oh well imma still eat
Yeah,I noticed that too.🤣
That is the way my feral reacted, but sadly he escaped, & he hasn't come back😿 My heart is broken. His mate & one of his kittens are still coming for food. They have been fixed. I pray dad comes back. Coyotes are coming up to our street from canyon even in daytime. Wish I didnt love cats so much!
Awe, I pray the dad comes back too. I know, it's hard loving cats so much and wanting to help and keep them from predators.
Mammal panic seems universal.
they say a neutered cat can be put back in the wild just 24 hours after the operation. Why can this time be so short while they advise for a house cat to stay indoors 10 days. Thanks
Great job! Did you guys make that drop trap yourself? It looks very effective
Thank you! Yes, Bryan (the guy in the video) is operation Fancy Free’s official trap builder extraordinaire! He also fashions the carry traps that butt up against the drop traps.
I thought it was funny how one of the cats at the end hisses at the other and then they get trapped together.
Holy crap how did you get so many farel cats on your property
It’s not my property :). I tag along with an organization that does trap, neuter, and return and video document their work and progress.
lmfaoooooo!
Spay and neuter does nothing to prevent the decimation of the song bird population….
Oh shut up. Songbirds are being decimated by that “smart” device you’re using, NOT by feral cats. Open your eyes instead of your mouth and u might actually learn something u could repeat without sounding so ridiculous. Sheesh.
@@aWomanFreed OK Moron, apply that same statement to yourself Tenfold….
@@aWomanFreed Cats do kill birds you idiot
@@mynameisjeff9660 One flew into my window the other day and broke its neck…so I guess windows are responsible for “decimating the population”, too.
@@aWomanFreed Not as much as cats you fool. The bird flew into the window. Cats on purposely kill birds. Thats why I try to capture and kill as many feral cats as possible because idiots like you are to stupid to see the amount of damage cats do to the environment.
Sorry but can not help from laughing out loud. Do you get free vax and neuter services?😊
The non profit I volunteer with raises money and gives free trapping, vax, and neuter services to cats in need 😊
What's wrong with killing the feral cats? If they cannot be tamed and adopted they should be killed because they decimate local birds, and other wild life.
I used to be a cat lover until I moved in my house. I didn’t know it was a colony of them. Now I hate them literally. They are a nuisance peeing and pooping all in my yard front and back and in my flower bed. I want them gone.
Letting them free again is so dumb.
Agreed
what do you sugest they do?
There’s a huge debate between TNR and euthanizing them. Returning them means they’ll still hunt wildlife even if they have a caregiver feeding them. But the argument some will use is that by returning them, they set up colonies and will keep new ferals from making the property their home. But the worst thing to do is nothing and continuing to let them breed. So while some people don’t like them being released, at least they’re fixed and not breeding anymore. And those same groups will take kittens and socialize them and adopt them into homes. They also try to find people with barns/structures on their properties that the cats can call home and they feed them and give them shelter and the cats keep the rodents out of the grain.
yes
Oh people you don't understand they are free already! Just helping them not reproduce and create more unwanted kittens/cats! Good human beings understand this!
It would be easier to just put them down
Delicious anti-freeze solves a 🐈 problem fast.
Not trying to kill them
@@seedos2930 Yeah, let's just let cats live for the rest of their lives in the wild snuffing animals.
You say that like you’re proud of being a POS
@@wendy857 hope you’re a vegan speaking like that. you kill animals to eat and drink every day.
Ok Evil man! Good luck telling that to GOD when your trying to get in the door!
Pathetic letting these cats go after being caught. All they do is eat and shit. The Aussies have the right idea.
You are also Evil! Humans are supposed to help not hurt! What if they were puppies? Same?
@@valentina13ization Puppies are different.
You do the same
@@valentina13ization who are you to judge, you think you're god or something
That's what people eat and s***t! Lol!!!!
Maybe let them eat first a little before pulling string on drop trap . Thx for your work
Ah, yes.... Another keyboard critic. How about you just enjoy the video and keep your "expertise" to yourself, eh?
I know, I know... you're so much smarter than everyone else and just want to share your brilliance whenever the opportunity arises, right? That's great! Write a book, post the link and wait for all the praises to get bestowed on you. Until then, have a look at the Dunning-Kruger effect for some light reading and have yourself an awesome day.
@@Nick-hv8gj lmao. You sure added a lot to my suggestion …quite a vivid imagination of assumptions you have there lmao. My comment was well intentioned bc they’re hungry so why not let them at least have a couple bites. They were food deprived for at least a day. How would you feel if you were food deprived for 24 hours? Unlike you who jumps to making unnecessary exaggerated comments that aren’t the case at all (lmao) I provided helpful feedback to the trappers so the cat can satiate its hunger next time. This is about the comfort of the cat 🐈
My comment had nothing to do with me and it was for comfort/happiness of the cat. Weirdo for making a big deal out of nothing
@@chococookies7292 looks like youre mad that you got ratio'd + L
I would suggest antifreeze.
