Katie McKittrick and Alex Babcock accomplished this mission successfully. A couple of the captures were not caught on camera, but the most important thing is that the whole Makeup Family is safe with us.

@@jillhopper5614 If kittens are in a home from a young age (I forget if it's before 6 or 8 weeks) they are much more likely to accept a role of house cat, if not in a house before that time they become more capable of taking care of themselves and much more wary of humans, thus the attempt to get them in a home early, in this case the fact that mom did not try to tear the hands and arms off those trying to bathe her suggests she was a house cat perhaps until her owners realised she was pregnant

I myself adopted 8 months ago a little female taken out of the street by a shelter, she is so small that she looks like a stuffed animal, at first she was a little shy but now it's a pure pleasure so much she is cuddly

I used to rescue cats and kittens, and it's not easy. They're very quick and scatter once you start trapping. Cats are very clever. Great job in catching the whole family 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈

This is one of the most worthwhile rescue organizations that I have ever seen. These people are kind, patient and relentless in trying to rescue animals and give them the lives God went them to have. I lured a feral kitty into my apartment using a ball of tin foil as bait with my fishing pole. Coolest calico kitten I had ever seen, but man once I shut my door behind him he turned into 500 gram Tasmanian-devil. He hid under my bed, and when I got him to come out he went into my kitchen and kept trying to escape through what he THOUGHT was a way out... my oven door. Poor little feller almost knocked himself unconscious. I finally gave up and opened the kitchen door. I watched him grow up in the alley's of my neighborhood.

Thank you for getting these kittens off the streets before they became feral. I have a feral cat --- my first--and had I been aware of the nice cat she must have been===and had I known I would have tried to rescue her. She is very gentle, loving, and scared with any rapid motions I make she is not suspecting of. I am very sorry that she was ever feral for her and who knows how many kittens she had.

Things I only learned later in life after volunteering and adopting from my county’s shelter :Two kittens are three times better than one because - they keep each other company while teaching each other how not to use claws, or be too rough . Plus they are each other’s emotional support system!
I am amazed at Katie M's work; even under extreme pressure and threat of a cockroach in her hair, she calmly kept her eye on the ball...ah...kitten through the rescue. I think Marvel should quit dreaming up fru fru superheroes and model one around Kitten Katie.

I am so glad that you decided to get the mother too. So many of the previous rescues either did not bother to get the Mum or got them only to put them back on the streets. O my goodness…those were some amazing saves! Love the names. I am just always amazed this group of people just keep on keeping over all these years…going out to save lives, then the baths, then the vet, then finding foster groups. Not sure how they do it. But love them for it!
I wish I had the money to start a program like this but those of us that care about the stray cats do it out of our pockets this is such a great program and thank to all of you 💓💓💓💓
Sometimes people care for cats in their neighbourhood and started crowdfunding to help them, spaying/neutering, feeding, vaccinating, building shelters a.s.o. Maybe you can ask your neighbours if they are interested!
