Hey UA-cam asalam alaykum and welcome to my
channel which is all about the religion of Islam from a reverts perspective,
by the end of this video, you will know how to become a muslim (take your shahada), how to say the testimony of faith known as the shahada and understand the 7 conditions that need to be met in order for your testimony of faith to be considered valid.
If you find this video useful for new muslims, I would really appreciate if you like and share the video to help me get a wider audience and therefore help this video come across new Muslims easier. As from personal experience I find it can be very difficult and confusing for me Muslims to find the right information without some help and guidance. Insha allah I will be creating a channel dedicated to helping new muslims in all aspects of life and I genuinely feel that this will be unique and beneficial.

@@IanSilxr There are alot of difficulties for after taking my shahada my life took a 360 turn but Alhamdulilah, Islam is best thing that has ever happened to me.

But the earlier you take your shahada the better for tomorrow is not quranteed and best thing you can inherit in this world is dying a Muslim. If you need help on researching about Islam and talking more about it please let me know

I keep watching your vids on repeat. I deal with some learning difficulties so I need a lot of repetition to remember the basics of Shahada for when I take my oath to Allah.

Honestly I wasn't even sure if I believe in God, but I have been getting pulled into Islam for some reason and Ive just seen a lot of things in the world that calls me to it. Don't know a lot about it to be honest, just that Ive been being pulled to it so I think it's time to take the steps to becoming Muslim and learning.

Dont worry, I'm not concerned about subscribers, the reason I am doing this video series is because there have been some instances in the past where I have been part of giving dawah to someone who reverted to Islam, and then I have lost contact with them for one reason or another. So I felt if I put all my advice and experiences into a video series, they may access it at any time :)

Thanks brother! I said the Shahada last week on stage with Sheikh Ahmed Dede of the Naqsyabandiyah Haqqani Sufi Order and two whirling dervishes. An incredible experience as I wanted to become a dervish for a long time! A incredible defining moment and so ripe with blessings and hopefully community too, as you say. I'm sure I wouldn't feel so impacted in 'my person' if I hadn't had an occasion. Thanks for this guide and confirming my shahada is valid, although it has set such a fire of love, revelation, and renunciation in me as I could hardly fail to believe! Salaam

Alhumdulillah I really appreciate all these videos. I've been Muslim for 2 years and still feel lost alot. I do the obligatory prayers and I fast during Ramadan but I know nothing else and I'm ashamed of this

Were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky, then you sought forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you, and I would not mind. O son of Adam! If you came to me with sins nearly as great as the earth, then you met Me not associating anything with Me, I would come to you with forgiveness nearly as great as it.'" I find this very interesting because I went to a mosque for the first time to meet the Imam( don't know if I typed that correctly) and after talking with him for a bit he brought me out to the mosque. There were some people inside a woman gave me a hijab and I said it right away.
The same happened to me, they explained the shahaadah and that was it. However in some mosques, it’s not common for people to come and revert to Islam. So the people there are not educated on what to explain to the revert before they take the shahaadah

Abû Hurairah (may Allâh be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allâh Muhammed (pbuh) said, "By the One in Whose Hand my soul is, were you not to commit sins, Allâh would replace you with a people who would commit sins and then seek forgiveness from Allâh; and Allâh would forgive them." [Muslim] Riyad Us Saliheen. Volume 1. Page 390, Hadith Number 422.
[Commentary: This Hadîth also tells us that Allâh has a profound liking for such people who are penitent and seek pardon for their sins from Him. So much so that if such people cease to exist who neither commit sins nor seek pardon from Him, He will create people who will do so. It does not, however, mean that He likes sins or the sinful persons. What it really means is that He likes penitence and the penitents. This is the true purport of this Hadîth. It also means that it is natural for man to commit sins, and that Allâh loves whenever a slave commits a sin to rush and beg for His forgiveness].
Allahu Akbar , as Allah says I will replace you with a people who will love me and I will love them , Sadaqa Allah Hul Atheem , [ Verily Allah has spoken the truth ]

Hello brother I am yet to be a Muslim but I have a difficult relationship with the mother of my children whom is a revert Muslim (I apologise for any incorrect terminology) but we have recently reconnected and the lovely women is adamant (rightfully so) that if we are to get back together that I would have to become a Muslim myself, this isn’t a problem because I love the religion and think it has endless beauty im just absolutely baffled by everything please can you guide me forward. Should I go speak to a man of the Muslim belief for advice i believe Allah (peace be upon him) has the right teachings and that Mohammed the prophet (peace be upon him) has many things to show me I’m just so uncertain of my commitment please guide me my brother wa’l-salaam ❤. Im dating somebody right now and I really love her but I wanna convert and accept allah as my one true god what do I do I can’t marry them I’m too young any advice or help would be nice
God comes before all else.
If it's either God or a lover, I would say there is no doubt that God is more important.
However, while adultery is a huge sin in islam, it would not invalidate your islam (so you would still be a muslim, but one that is committing a sin).
So in my humble opinion, the first thing to do would be to accept islam, and take a break from your relationship, and try to learn more about islam. And don't forget to ask Allah for guidance, and ask Allah to grant you whatever he knows is best for you.
Then after you feel you are ready, you can make your own decision, but just know that being a muslim and a sinner is infinitely better than being a non-muslim, because all muslims will enter Paradise eventually, even if they go to hell first to cleanse them from their sins, however non-muslims will never enter Paradise.
