Hey UA-cam asalam alaykum and welcome to my channel which is all about the religion of Islam from a reverts perspective, by the end of this video, you will understand and be able to explain the 5 core pillars of Islam.
This is the first video in a new series called A beginner’s guide to Islam, which is intended for new converts or people interested in the religion.
I will be covering the very basics of the beliefs, as well as advice that I can offer from my own experiences over the last 10 years, on topics such as family, social and workplace challenges, seeking knowledge and even relationship and marriage advice.
Islam offers guidance for all areas of life and because of this, at times you may need to make some significant changes to your lifestyle and ideology, especially if you’re coming from a western background.
If you need advice and information on the multitude of life changes and challenges you will face on this journey then this is the right series for you!
Some definitions you will need to know before we begin;
1. Quran - The book of Islam, revealed by God to the prophet and final messenger Muhammad, as a guidance for mankind.
2. Sunnah - The words and actions or The way of the Prophet)
3. Hadith - Sayings of the prophet
4. Fard or Wajib - Obligatory
5. Halal - Permitted
6. Haram - Not permitted

Muhammad is the false prophet! He was taken to the top of a mountain like Jesus was, only he was deceived by satan portraying himself as an angel of light(Gabriel)
Muhammad said he was taken from Kaaba to a temple in Jerusalem, only during Muhammad's lifetime(died 632 AD) there was no temple in Jerusalem! The Jewish one was destroyed in 70 AD and the Al Aqsa mosque was not built till somewhere around 685 - 715 AD.
The Quran is just a bad counterfeit of Judaism with a splash of the Christian bible. They believe in the GOD of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, but so do the demons and they tremble with fear!👊😇✝️

I´m 39 years old, from Chile and I just took my Shihada today my broders. Im oficially a Muslim, but I´ve felt like one for a couple of months. I´ve been reading the Quran and even bought a book to teach me how to pray. I´ve been learning so much thanks to all my muslim brothers. Next week Im going to the only Mosque we have here in Chile. Cant wait to learn more about Islam and submit to Allah. Alhamdulillahh.

I am learning the religion so that I may become a Muslim. I am a air duct technician out of Missouri. The owner is my trainer and is he is Muslim.
Over the years I've been reading the Quran I told him. I proceeded to tell him I want to become a Muslim. He is teaching and directing me towards Allah. I am so thankful for your video.

As an American Christian I'm watching this for more educational reasons. I didn't even know about charity being a pillar I'm learning a lot.
This obligatory charity is called Zakat. It is obligatory on people who have passed a certain threshold of wealth, and they have to pay 2.5% on their annual savings and wealth every year. There are details on what wealth they need to pay Zakat on.

I've been agnostic my whole life but I think this is my religion. White man from Canada.
I truly believe that Islam is the last and only true monotheistic religion left to humanity. All other scriptures have been corrupted by man. Reading the Quran was a profoundly moving experience. I read it after seeing the unwavering strength and faith of the Palestinians while enduring horrendous war crimes. I kept questioning what I was reading because I couldn't understand the translation, so I subscribed to Bayyinah for clarification, and I have found the Quran to be undisputable. I recently found out about the Birmingham Quran, a Quran carbon dated and preserved from the time of the prophet's life. Knowing that the Quran has not been changed for over 1400 years is a miracle in itself, but reading the scientific proofs in the Quran blew my mind. It is impossible that bedouin arabs in the desert 1445 years ago could have known about the scientific wonders in the Quran, which weren't known to us until recently. Alhumdullillah. May Allah guide us all on the righteous path. Ameen.

İ remeber a memory of mine when i was 8. I was at my grandmother's house and i wanted to join his prayer she accepted it showed me what moves to make and clean yourself before prayer i was an angry child for some reason but after that day i felt peace in myself i like islam even more because you lightened up that memory

I’m a white American man, raised Christian (in the Lutheran sect) but I have been fervently atheist for the past 20 years. Many thinkers I look to are Muslim and make me think the prophet, peace be with him, will bring me meaning and clarity. As a dialectical materialist Marxist I am unsure.
