- This was one of the best landscaping projects I have done this year! I was so happy to see Marc place the last two boulders on the wall to make it complete. And I think I am sold on using the plant auction for some killer deals on perennials! This turned out so beautifully and I can’t wait to see the siding go up on the shop to really see this space come together.
This is our third year living up here and the vision that we are building is really coming together!

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much room. Which is my favourite saying . Rock wall looks good!

The whole area around the shop and the new hillside will look awesome by seasons end and unbelievable next year. Just make sure the goats don’t come and help again! 😂😂
Goats are getting a huge reduction this fall. We are only keeping a few through winter lol. More 🌭 in the freezer 😬😂😂

If you can, before planting, cover soil with cheap clear plastic for about a month in the spring. The sun heats up the ground and kills the weed seeds.

When are you going to put something on the outside of the shop walls
It’s definitely on our list. Every year we have an open season to get the plants in the ground and the soil is wet enough to move and get some excavation done before it turns dry and hard. We have the shop on the list and it’s the next thing we work on.
