Marc, ‘dirt, grain & steel’ has at least one video rehabbing an older grinder/mixer like yours if you want to see if it’s helpful I’m looking forward to future videos of the grinder/mixer being fixed or just doing its thing 😊
This is how America was built farmer to farmer direct to the consumer. Keep the government out of it work together as friends and neighbors. Better for both sides. That is how I grew up in the 50's. Great video.
We have the stuff ordered. We want to focus on the animals and covered parking first and the shop will get done. Sneak peak: if you follow us on Facebook or Instagram I sometimes will post pictures of sneak previews. But our videos typically are finished or phase like projects:)
Don't you have a dump trailer? Wow, interesting to see a 7720 JD. Haven't seen one of those for a loooong time here in Oklahoma, lol. Of course, we have a lot of wheat here.
Yes we thought about using it but then once the grain is in then it would be hard to store out of the elements and getting the grain out would be hard as well. We were not sure how fast we would find the grinder so it would be risky. We have a conex where all the grains are stored away from elements and little animals.
Thanks for a great video! What I like best about your videos is that they remind me of my earlier years growing up in the country. I really look forward for your next video because I’m positive that I’ll be watching and waiting for the next one before it’s finished. Until then I’ll be checking my tablet twice daily! 😀👍❤️🚂💨💨💨💨💨🚙
Excellent decision to buy bulk and grind and mix yourself. Saving money is always good. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out for you, hopefully great!
Good to see another piece of equipment ticked off the list! This is definitely a great step towards even more independence for you guys. You may have to rename Marc to be called a Bob the builder though….*sings* Can we fix it? yes we can!! 😉😂 Good luck with it all Guys! 💫❤️💫✌🏻🇦🇺
Do you have a grinder for your kitchen, so you can grind your own wheat for flour, and even corn meal? That will be a big savings too. I wish I had one!
Love the way you both see solutions, not problems. It’s inspiring.

Well said! EXACTLY these guys have been our friends for a very long time, and we are finally at the point where we can buy directly from them.
Do not forget to do the siding before winter😊😊😊

We have a way for corn, hay, and barley not yet legumes or silage.
Please, just be careful. Had a neighbors son die from getting into the PTO. You have to save money anywhere you can.
Every farm kid I ever met over the age of five or six knew the PTO could kill you. Just part of growing up on a farm
