My power connector ports don’t slide all the way in and click on the right side and my monitors don’t come on
5:21 necesito ayuda, tengo la misma Gpu y se apaga la luz rgb del logo 😢 que le pasa a mi gpu?
My windows device manager cant find the gpu. Just upgraded from 1060 and idk what to do. Everyrhing is connected
i have a cable that has 12 pins on psu and the cable branches into 8 pin and a 6+2 daisy chain...is this enough to power 3070ti?
edit my psu is xfx pro 1000w.
Yes it is enough. Most power supplies ive seen don't have that 12 pin port, only 8pins. Because it has 12 pins, you're totally fine to use the daisy chain. That graphics card only pulls 250-300w under load.
Did you use two VGA from the power supply or a cable with two 8 pin connectors?
I typically use one dedicated psu cable per 8-pin port on the graphics card. So in this case yes, two 8-Pin cables from the power supply. The only exception is for example the MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 3080 ti. That has three 8 pins connections and I don't aggresively over clock with it, so I use two dedicated 8 pin power supply cables. The second cable has the "daisy chain" for the third 8 pin connection. You can also check the gauge psu cable wiring to find out how much power in watts each individual psu cable can support.
@Osiris.Loera I used 2 8 pin connectors from the PSU (850W).
Differnce between VGA & PCI e cables for connection with the GPU?
VGA is a term people use for the video connetion from the graphcis card to the monitor. Technically VGA is an older (Blue) cable that shouldn't be used for these kinds of graphics cards because its an analog connection (Not digital). The other cables are PSU Cables used by the power supply to power the graphcis card
Would this fit onto a ROG STRIX Z690-F GAMING WIFI motherboard?
Yes it will
Using the same PSU-you like an use the Eco Mode fan feature?
Yeah i've been using the eco mode feature on this build. I really like how the fan rarely kicks on including the fans on the ASUS Tuf graphics card
which slot you insterted the card? is it PECIE 5.0 or 3.0?
Typically the upper top x16 slot
What’s the thing on the back for is that to connect a liquid cooler to it?
Wondering the saaaame thing. I'm currently installing it wondering if I'm supposed to attach a cooler.
@@SilinDrathir think it’s an option to put it on that or the cpu
May i have an Amazon link or something to the power cables you’re using?
It's the EVGA SuperNova 850w GA power supply (Link in this video's description)
I have the same card for my FHD monitor.
DanI need 2 8 pin PCIe cables? I just got this card and I have a single PCIe cable that splits into 1 8 pin and 1 6 +2 pin heads. I notice that if you dont fill all the pins, you end up with a red light on ether port on the GPU. Currently my single PCIE cable is plugged in correctly and I have no red lights. But... Being that it's technically a single cable; I might be doing something wrong?
It depends on the quality and wattage of the power supply, but I would personally use two dedicated psu cables for 3070ti or higher.
@@SystematicHardware Off the top of my head, it's an 850 watt modular gold. I cant remember the exact brand. Currently; it isn't signaling out to my monitor. I suspect it has something to do with the PSU technically as this is not an unfamiliar problem with my PC. 🤔 I think to be on the safe side, Im gonna reinstall my old GPU until Im more than sure I have what I need.
Hi if my tdp of the whole system has 555watt will it work with a 600watt psu (netzteil) ?
Will it work? Probably - but that depends on the quality of the power supply. You should aim your internal components to load your PSU around 50% for less strain and better efficiency
@@SystematicHardware its 80 plus gold
@@SystematicHardware thanks fotnthe reply
It’s very tough and well yeah so heavy!
Omg
I just ordered this card today i have
Msi x570 tomahawk wifi motherboard
Deepcool pm750d 80 plus gold psu
Lianli lancool 2 mesh black cabinet
Does my psu handle this and do i have any issue in future with that sag
I personally only recommend EVGA, Superflower, Corsair or Seasonic. The wattage is fine for that build, but Deepcool in my opinion isn't a reputable power supply manufacturer. If you plan to do a graphics card upgrade in the future to something with more power draw, I would return it for at least an 850w gold rated model listed above.
@@SystematicHardware yeah i am thinking about coolermaster mwe 850 fully modular v2 in future
What's the difference between the 3070 and the 3070TI? Both have 8Gb of GDDR6 Vram
Quoted from trustedreviews.com - "The main differences come in the number of CUDA cores the graphics cards feature, as well as the clock speeds each offers. The RTX 3070 Ti features 6144 CUDA cores to the 3070’s 5888, and also includes more RT and tensor cores. The 3070 Ti also has a faster base clock speed of 1.58GHz to the 3070’s 1.50GHz, plus a faster boost clock speed of 1.77GHz to the 3070’s 1.73GHz. While both cards feature 8GB of memory, the 3070 Ti uses GDDR6X instead of the standard 3070’s GDDR6. The former is more expensive and offers better data transfer speeds and bandwidth for improved performance over its GDDR6 equivalent."

Thank you for the explanation. Much appreciated.
yu made beautiful ! see u around,amigo~ 👏
Thank you!!
Can I only use one 6+2 pin PCle cable for a 3070ti?
no
I have read some where that this card has problems with the memory getting really really hot, is that something you have seen on your card or have heard that Asus has fixed that problem???
No I haven't seen that on my card, truthfully I haven't looked either because I haven't seen any indication of performance being negatively impacted to result in thermal throttling
I got an RTX 3070 TI Rog Strix with 3 8pins, my question is how can I make it run with my crosair 750 watt that has only 2 (6+2) pins? The rgb light is working but there’s no signal on my computer! Just a black screen and nothing shows up, my computer running normally!
I do not recommend using less power supply connectors. What is the exact model of the Corsair 750w power supply?
@@SystematicHardware 80 plus Gold
@@belowdown7339Thats the efficiency rating, not the model - in short yes you need to make sure you have enough power supply connectors to populate the power ports on the graphics card.
@@SystematicHardware alright, thank you so much!
@@belowdown7339 Good luck!
Gorgeous case
Thank you
my only complaint is your fast forwarding when installing the card. Otherwise, great video and pretty helpful.
(When installing do you recommend taking off 3 slot covers or is 2 enough? You weren't too clear on how many you removed for installation)
Two slots 3:44
@@SystematicHardware sorry and thanks for being so kind about it.
Can you hear the gpu fans while gaming ?
No I don't
Is the ASUS TUF 3070Ti same as the NVDEA RTX 3070ti?
Typically the same PCB but different cooler and tuning
@@SystematicHardware thanks 🙏🏼
I have this exact card and its great my only complaint is how heavy it is and not including any additional support for sag
I 100% agree, well said
@@SystematicHardware theres two threaded holes on the other end of the gpu that do nothing it seems i wonder if you could mount a little bracket to it?
@@park9912 Yeah totally possbile. I just installed an EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 12GB FTW3 Ultra Gaming yesterday, its just as heavy (if not heavier) and it didn't have virtually any GPU sag. IMO it comes down to the PCI-E bracket retention that flexes. Due to Jayz2Cents video EVGA started implementing this feature into their cards and it definitely shows. Check out the video!
ua-cam.com/video/liChy76nQJ4/v-deo.html
@@park9912 yes u can, that what i did with mine, used left over metal brackets from back of my case and screwed it to the front of the card to the case-fractal definie 7
I have a sata cable right below my gpu that prevents sag lol 😂
How much time this GPU can survive on 1440p ultra settings?
ESports titles? A long time. Tripple A titles? You might want to get more vram for longevity.
@@SystematicHardware In triple AAA with 2k resolution
coil whine?
Every RTX 3000 graphics card i've uploaded to this channel has a variation of coil whine. But it only appears to happen when the games are loading or at a menu screen.
Does it over heat?
Nope
The 8pin positions should not be there at the rgb TUF logo.😢 Poor design on this point.
you can't just put the graphics card in and it work I just get black screen
You ever find a fix for it?
Do you think its worth it to buy 3070ti over 3070?
It depends on the system you're building, how you plan to use it, along with your resolution monitor
@@SystematicHardware I'm thinking buy these, 2x8 3200mhz, 1tb, h610mh, i5 12600KF, 144hz 2k IPS, 750w gold, 4x fan case. The difference is between 3070 and 3070 ti is 100 dolar on Newegg
And do you know will Nvidia release decent driver updates on 3070 ti and make the fps difference between 3070 and ti version more? My game aim is 2k Ultra and usually planning to play story games like rdr2, cyberpunk, god of war. I would like to play competitive too but mostly AAA games
I'm sorry for my questions I know it's a lot but will prices go down when Nvidia introduce 4000 series? If so I would like to get 3080 10gb and play in 2k for future proofing. Will they hit the MSRP?
@@aliahmedov4674 Those games are demanding triple A titles so I would get the best card you can afford. The 4000 series could be another paper launch and 3000 series is already very close to MSRP. They will be discontinued before the 4000 series launches so it may be a very long time before 4000 series is readily available due to supply chain issues with Ukraine, Russia and china.
I never see this GPU get over 63 C during gaming.
Yeah same here, it runs so cool. It's litterally a perfect combo with the i5 11600k. It looks like it has a dual bios switch and I can't wait to look into other functions of it
What is your room temperature?
@@abandxz mine around 68F.
I have this… don’t buy it unless you want almost zero water cooling support!
Please feel free to prove me wrong, though.
I'm inclined to believe you. I generally would er on the side of not spending extra money water cooling a 3070 ti when I could take that extra money and buy an air-cooled higher tier model
@@SystematicHardware this was the only 3070 Ti I could afford at the time (yes, really) and I wasn’t planning on water cooling my system when I built it. Now that I’m thinking about it, I’m starting to see that almost nothing supports it.
would it be possible to hookup a pci-e wi-fi card or is the card too big?
There is always that chance pci-e slots below the card will be blocked, but that depends on the motherboard in question.
Can i run this with a gold rated Corsair 650watt Psu?
It depends on your other internal components and total system power draw. I know people that have done it yes, including myself. However if that power supply is 5 years or older you might want to invest in something new and at least 750w.
