Who's actually thinking about buying the RTX 4090?
@LuCish Maybe in 2 years time before the next gen.
Why? The 3090Ti is still worth it.
I'm thinking of using the 4080 in a new system, but very tempted to say "what the heck" and just go for the 4090. Need to save some pennies first, of course. Oh, and for style, it'll be the Asus Tuf version.
MAYBE VENDOR FOR GIVEAWAY🤩
I wish I had the budget for one. The price of one of these would be my budget for a whole system! 😂
40 series are the first GPUs to come with a "lift with your legs, not with your back" warning in the manual.
And the 5090 will say "2 person lift"
@@XCraftllc first 5090 leak here 👆
These are only 2 kilos, Same as a 2L bottle of pepsi, stop dramatizing it
@@Cxs1a3 😂☠️
@@XCraftllc LMAO 🤣🤣😂😂
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH! Never knew it was that big...
Also your getting much more views, likes, and comments lately 👍👍👍
Thanks for the preview
Loving the opening vibe on this vid, saving it under my must-listen again ;)
Amazing video bro🔥
Content quality next level 👌
Big THANK you for this amazing , 1st on the planet , presentation !!!!!
One question ..... What is the speed/processing-power loss percentage , if i place this beast on a PCI 3.0 slot of an older motherboard ????
Thank you for your amazing advices on building PC units.
Really sweet video Dude! 😁 Really enjoying the initial impressions of the 4090 too. Queue the PSU upgrades…
Thanks dude! Yeah, the performance is even better :)
Yeah, I saw yours as well, sick pics on IG! Jealous that yours was not previously unboxed;)
The 3090 for scale really shows how BIG these 4090s are.
I managed to grab one today. Thanks for the video.
thanks for the asmr mate
He measures length and height but stopped before measuring width. Nobody mentions this, and yet I think it gets awfully close to hitting the side panel of many cases, especially when you have to plug in the power cable that sticks straight out the side.
well then this looks interesting can't wait for you to get the upcoming intel and AMD gpus aswell and test which brand gives the best price per performance on their gpus.🔥
Not nvidia, lol, worst price to performance value
Do you have to use 4 single pcie cables going into 4 pcie slots and utilise the 600w capibility only, or can you use 2 single and one split cable and power it with 450w?. The asus website recommends 1000w minimum, but I aren't overclocking the card and using a 5900x with just PBO turn on so not sure I would require the full 600w and using 4 single cables.
Will it have the same problem with the 3090 hot back ram temperature?
I feel like you may as well make separate case for that card with dedicated power supply connected with a possible riser connection?
@Tech Notice, could you measure the size of the physical 4090 pcb please. Great video, very exited seeing that you are getting early access to items now
Early! I might buy it. Looks great.
Oh man it looks fantastic
This card should come with it’s own pc case at this point.
Lol Blippi, you gave me chills, flashback watching it with my kiddo
Lol
What power cable do you recommend for this?
Thanks!
Awesome!
OMG the size!!
Please any chance you might review the Intel A770 and A750 GPU ? That might be interesting to know how it might perform creative work.
The size comparison of 4090 vs 3090 is the real deal here cause it gave me a idea how big it really is.Thanks.
How is the coil whine on yours? I have the same card and will be returning it, the noise is unbearable.
Video cards are getting bigger and more power hungry, which is a bit strange to me given the way technology is evolving. I will wait for RTX 4070 or RTX 4080 benchmarks, RTX 4090 is too expensive. Otherwise, I would be interested to see a comparison with the professional line of RTX video cards.
Actually that's not exactly true, if you look at the performance per watt, it's still very impressive!
We are also getting to the point where we can't shrink processes by as much as we used to, getting hung up around 5nm; so we have to just add more cores to increase performance which increases power draw.
@@theTechNotice make a video on that good sir
@@theTechNotice Where does it show the real world performance per watt and not a half ass bar graph with no usable information on it.
@@theTechNotice it's performance per watt is better than ampere, but that's already a low bar with how badly inefficient ampere is, 450W of consumption is not good overall
They need to make a slot on both ends to support these new beast.
Will it fit on Dell T7920 Workstation ? Will wait for your suggestion ???
How much upgrade i can get from 5500 xt? Considering 5500 is bigger than 4090
How many mid size cases will that fit in?
Nice video.
I actually liked more the quality of your video than the 4090.
Just bought mine! So excited, it's coming in the next few days!
Congrats! Just got mine this morning at Central computers, waited couple hours in line.
@@geogeo4139 I was fortunate enough to just get mine online!

I'm waiting for their collaboration with Noctua for the 40 series and let's see how big and heavy would it be.
And what about testing this with 8k games? What are you waiting for?
They have sent you one that does not work?
I don't get why they don't add a 3rd slot bracket on these cards. I would assume that adding a third screw lower relative to the card would help support it better than just two screws.
@proxy1 gotta cut costs some how!
You don't need a 3rd bracket if you're using a 4090 and not watercooling it you're insane.
This is probably the best looking 4090. Better looking than the founders edition.
Will this fit into the torrent case?
Always loved the tuf series. Clean design and minimal rgb.
Have the 3090 TUF, love it. Knew right from the launch that was the one for me (even though it took me almost two years to get it lol). Can’t believe the size difference between these two generations though.
This one here is the one I want, even over the Strix model which is too colorful for my taste and pricey. The MSI Suprim non water cooled would be my second coice.
@@Nexter1 had the same card for a while and it was great. Temperatures were excellent and it was quiet. I sold it when the gpu prices were out of control to a friend of mine.
I bought the TUF 3090 as it is the best on the market rn if you compare it to other 3090's
and the best ones in temperature
Really funny they went with the "cutting corners" design choice.
what power supply would this graphics card need?
thats HUGE Bro !
Isn’t there a slight benefit pulling the fan slightly away from heat sink to reduce static air pressure and optimize airflow? Sorry if I’m using incorrect science terminology, but I do recall fan displacement can have huge influence of air pressure resistance.
Inside the box, there should be a voucher for our electricity supplier😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣
Hey random question if anyone wants to chim in...will a 850psu be good enough for a 5950 with a 3090ti?
What's the width of the card?
I was excited, then I saw the price tag! 🤣🤣🤣
Damn boiii that monster 💥
Previous gen GPUs required anti-sag support. 40 series will require an architectural engineer and a building permit.
🤣🤣
WOOOW AMAZING TECNO
I finally managed to buy a 3080 FE at MSRP in the UK a few months ago and I was so happy about it, and now 4000 series is already out, now I'm not sure if I got good value and maybe I should have gotten the 4090 instead 🥲 3000 series were unobtainable at reasonable prices for so long that I didn't even realise the next generation was soon.
Nah u didn't get ripped off man.
The 3080 is a good GPU and at MSRP you cannot go wrong...Should be able to handle anything at 1440p high refresh and even 4k 60 without to many issues and that's not including DLSS...Be happy, and when the 5090 comes out by a 4090...
@@vMaxHeadroom Thank you for your reply, it eases my thoughts on the matter. My main use case is video editing, I enjoy gaming and especially VR too but the most important part is that it video edits well.
And I suppose there is not that much of an improvement for video editing between a 3080 and 3090 or one of the 4000 series, probably just faster export times. Oh and more VRAM is better I suppose.
Thinking of getting an LG c2 tv/ monitor.
You're fine, if you're only planning on doing 4k for the next few years. Hardware has massively outpaced gaming software. Something Nvidia doesn't want you to realize .Your gaming experience wont even blink an eye. The truth is Without benchmarks you couldn't tell the difference between a 3080 and a 4080 playing any games at 4k max settings. Side by side or not. The last couple gens have completely depended on benchmarks and 8k for being the only reason for gamers to up grade. Honestly it's becoming a marketing scam 60% faster than last gen, what is 60% faster than overkill? Nobody can without software tell the difference between 100 fps ultra and 140fps ultra. It's the same experience. They are misleading you so they can take hard earned money from you, so you buy something you don't even need.
Wowzer!
Sir please do a video of practical life using 4090 video ... Like your thread reaper pro processor video ... Please sir 🙏🙏🙏🙏
That's a nice looking brick.
When can we see that RTX4090 running on Resolve or Premiere?
When embargo lifts :)
This is the OC edition - which is 200$ more than 1599 MSRP BTW. There are 2 TUF versions - one for 1599 and this one for 1799.
music in the intro?
I was considering the Strix but there might be 1% difference of performance, strix is like 500€ more for bling, might get this one !
TRUE MONSTER!!!!🔥
Excellent video sir. I also love big GPU and big heatsink.
I also love tuf parts. I have build 12600k pc with Asus tuf b660m plus Wi-Fi d4 motherboard. Sir i am considering 4080 12gb for my PC if tuf 4080 12gb is there so it will be great for me.
go for the 16 gig .
@@aalennn1 ok still 12gb is more than enough and better than 3090ti
My jaw hit the floor when you put the 3090 beside the 4090. Planning to upgrade my 3080 TUF OC to the 4090 TUF.
Oh yeah, same here, it's HUGE!
Upgrading already? I was originally going for the tuf version, but it is too long for the cases I'd want to shove it into. FE 4090 is my choice.
@@tiandi5585 Already? It's been 2 years! I'm looking forward to the extra RT performance. My case choice at the start of the year was the Fractal Torrent, opaque with no RGB under the desk, which is huge so no problems with space.
@@alistermunro7090
Why do you need 4090 if you can turn all the sliders to the right with 3080
@@GrandTown What we have seen so far from RT is only the beginning. A good example would be CP2077 which still struggles to stay above 60FPS at 1440p / DLSS Quality, and that's before we get the overdrive settings. I would have stayed with my 1080Ti FTW if it were not for RT.
At first i thought the info about the 4090 is fake because there are lots of mems about 4090 but this video give the answer to my questions
My Strix 4090 oc weighs 9.5 lbs. I have two vertical supports holding it. Taking no chances.
It would not fit vertically. It hit my front mounted 360 AIO.
How to sell lungs?
The video was good.🙂
Now it make me think about upgrade my case before buying 4090😅
everybody showing fe edition, you are showing what I want to see ;D, strix edition next ?
Will it fit width wise in a corsair 5000x?
yeah
Let's think about the electricity bill for budget users. and then those who build mini pc with micro atx design.
4090 starts at $1820 from where I live. I guess most gamers simply can't afford it atm. Still interested to see how it performs though.
it's 3000$ in my country 🤣🤣🤣
Literally just picked mine up... umm, I need a bigger case and to rework my waterpump location. Looks like I'm just building a whole new system.
RTX 4090: I'M THE CASE NOW
I don't think they should be called "cards" Anymore 💀

@@luvoverthewall 1.5 lkh ka graphics card h 1.5 lkh ka isme tera ghr jayinga 🌚 ( just kidding bro)
GPU bricks would be fitting.
I think NZXT need to build new cases for this one
NVidia: Do you have livers?
Kidneys? Lungs? A spare heart?
got an evga 3090 ... rock solid ... Won't upgrade till 50 series.
How did you get it so early?
Have you noticed what this channel does?
Comparing this to the gigabyte, I think the heatsink fins size on the tuf looks much smaller. Atleast by 15%.
What's the width of the card without the bracket?
Mentioned that in the video, can't remember now.
@@theTechNotice I see you mentioned 120mm, so guessing that is the board itself without the bracket? Thanks!
So many, that's what she said puns here 😂
Im working on an ITX build and pretty much none of the 4090s will fit in a ITX build lolol gonna go 3090 and hope the 4080s arent as long
thanks
I think the "four connectors in one" standard is poorly designed. The single-connector cable must be long to cable management. And the end of cable with four connectors in that back place cable management.
It seems the gigabyte rtx4090 would be a better choice, their FAN design has ....shark skin? could someone give a full test between these two product?
Rocking a 2080ti and not giving a crap about raytrace tech I will wait for the 50 series. The 4080 is good value compared to what I paid in 2019 but the 4090 is just a behemoth I wouldn't want on my desk in a huge tower.
It's massive, so full tower recommended. Requires a new PSU with 1000-1200w. Will increase your power bill significantly. Will need a bracket for support.
Too many cons to justify a purchase.
Got the tuf 3080ti not that long ago
Very good card, one day maybe 😂
You forgot to measure the most important part, how wide the cards is, and how wide it is with the cable attached and bent down. These cards won't fit into most cases because the cable can't be bend enough before it runs into the side panel of the case. Why is no reviewer paying attention to this?!
ASUS needs another Noctua collab with their 4090. It makes waaaay too much sense.
Also, obviously looking forward to creative benchmarks and quality of life reviews for this card.
No reason to pay royalties on cards people would buy anyway without a collab
Hyped for the Adobe Tests with it :)
SFF case need to get little bigger to welcome that big ass gpu. 0__0
Is it pro tech channel or for fun? Why no checks inside of the card, like where cooling system are really touching...
We know about ban of performance tests, but if you could show card, why not show insides?
Knew it was big but damn, that comparison - 40 series will need to come with a stick to stop sag.
i could build a house with that :P compaired to my 3080ti tuf
