Thanks so much for talking about conserving and reusing soil! Not only is it expensive but also it's very important to minimize the impact on the environment as much as possible.

YIPPPPPEEEEEEE! 💚🌿people need to mind their own beeswhacks! 😂😂😂 I also reuse as much as I can and if I can't use it in my plants I dump it in my veggie garden bed..

You are just so creative. I copied so many things from you like the lazy pole or the chunk scraping and I also switched to no drainage. I love it! So thank you for input! And to all of the haters we are not in a science class , we just do whatever as long as our plants are happy and we don’t hurt nobody ❤

I’ve learned so much from her also! I started reusing clear plastic bottles as my version of a lazy pole 🪴. I also bought pon and have been going to thrift stores for clear, no drainage pots

I'd love to see just a general explanation and demonstration on how you use TPS or Great White. How frequently you use it in your plant care routines? Do you use it with props in water? How do you use it in semi-hydro pon/leca set ups (or is it the same as soil)? Any before and after pics? Any cons? How does it integrate with your fertilizing/nutrients care?

I think i would like a myco video comparing growth over time (so long form video) and maybe in similar or the same species. That would be really informative and helpful for someone like me just getting into myco!

I'm with you on reusing everything you can! I just dont reuse soil because I had a 3 years long thrips battle. And they come back in the soil. But I do the boiling water over pon and leca and reuse those for sure!

I hear a lot about mico from you & Alice, but I’m kinda apprehensive on purchasing it. Maybe doing an experiment?
9 cuttings? 3 using TPS, 3 using Great White, 3 using normal soil or pon, and monitor roots growth for a month or 2, and the video would be check-ups, or reviewing all footage / photos of root growth? Just an idea

I’ve had trouble with my right ear popping for decades. I went to an ENT who said it was Eustachian tube dysfunction. He advised me to strengthen it by popping my ears (hold my nostrils closed and blow). It’s called the Valsalva manoeuvre. It can’t hurt to try that to see if it helps your annoying ear.

I reused plenty of soil and those plants seem fine to me! And unless the PON or leca was really riddled with dead roots, im reusing that ish too! Im with u on not wanting to leave the house. I rarely leave my house...its a production when i do need to go out LOL

In regard to the mycho video. I would love to see a video of why/how/when to use it. It would be super interesting if you took two of the same and did a little experiment on one and see what the growth differences are. I would also love to hear your opinions on different ones that you’ve used and which you recommend. And maybe reasons why you wouldn’t use it such as rehab or unrooted or plant types you could just go without if that is such a thing. 🤷🏻‍♀️ just a few thoughts on what I’d like to see from that. I agree that there’s not a whole lot to really go over since it’s pretty self explanatory but I would love to hear your thought on it anyway.

The atmospheric pressure changes throughout the day, so there’s probably something about the pressure in the air during those early afternoon hours that makes your ears pop. Just a guess, I really don’t know for sure. I work at a coffee shop and we have to re-calibrate our grinder a couple times a day for this reason.

That’s a lot of amendments. It sure looks good. Every time I make more soil I add more amendments Bigger back. Now I’m going to look for the repti bark. I think I can get on Amazon. I add more architectural charcoal both big and small bark, plus lots of perlite. But I’m going to get some coarse bark. I think you said three or four size perlite. Is that correct?

I definitely would not have the energy in doing so much plant chores and the time especially if you have other priorities aswell to fit them all in. For me i only repot once a year when Spring comes giving fresh soil change and time to fertilise aswell. Also my plants are slow growers aswell that i don’t need to up size my pots. My plant chores mainly just watering and cleaning of there foliages. And making sure they don’t run into any problems aswell. I like watching Marvel and DC movies. TV dramas i am also watching The Last of Us. Other shows that are good are Servant on Apple TV and See. The House of Dragons. The Witcher. I am also into Star Wars The Mandalorian aswell. If you are looking for comedy The Big Bang Theory if you never watched it.

The 'clicking in your ear when you talk, and maybe sometimes when you are eating, or yawn maybe extra fluid in the inner ear or in the sinuses behind the ear.
