let me get this right: go 100+mph, run a red light, hit a building, kill 3 people, injure 3 more - then have the balls to ask people to pay for memorials, and costs?? WTF
The driver’s parents probably started the gofundme page to pay for a new Tesla.

Were all six of them driving? While I agree with your sentiment, it is possible that the two passengers could have been victims. The driver thought….. He did do this and of course the family or someone started a gofundme to reward bad behavior and consequences of such.

Kids- if your friend is high or has been drinking, or even if you know they are not a safe driver, please don’t get in their car. I know a kid who ended up with permanent brain damage from trusting a young driver speeding and crashing. I know you think it won’t happen to you, till it does. Be smart, be safe.
I can attest to that. Around 1970 I was in a car with a couple of drunk idiots, so-called friends. I demanded to be let out, and had to walk a few miles into town in the rain. On the outskirts of town on a bend onto a bridge I found the car. They had gone into a tree, and both had gone through the windscreen. Both miraculously survived, but of course with significant injuries. I was so glad I wasn't in that car because I might not have survived. It was a life-long lesson. I learned that there are indeed worse things than walking in cold rain without a raincoat.
1984 I refused to get in a van with others over this. That van went over a cliff side and rolled seven times over a 200' descent, all in the van died. I got home after walking five miles, my older brother laughed at me and called me a loser for walking. The next day he came to me and apologized and told me about the tragedy he heard about, told me he took it to heart that I saved my own life. My blood ran cold when he told me about it.
*Most definitely, at 17 I refused to get in the car because my 3 friends were drinking at the party.* I don't drink and my friend refused to let me drive his car. I did my best to plead with them and my friend of 11 years spit in my face and call me a b*tch for trying to be the voice of reason. I know he was drunk but it took every fiber of my being to not beat him into the ground. I said F it and started walking back to our neighborhood (6 miles away). They even drove alongside me for about 5 minutes, cussing me out, heckling me talking smack because I decided to walk. They were involved in a single car accident striking a utility pole. Two of them have severe hip and leg injuries and are unable to compete in football and one lost his college scholarship. The driver only got minor injuries. You guessed it - they all carried a deep resentment towards me for not fighting harder for them to do the right thing.
More dangerous drivers off the street!

It’s not hard to make sense of what happened. Idiots behind the wheel of an EV capable of going really fast, really fast. Case closed.
A lot of cars can go fast, not just an EV.
@@zhenren9703 Yes, but it used to be that it took special care and feeding to own & operate a muscle car. But now anyone can have a muscle car just by asking their parents to buy one for them. I’m a big fan and muscle cars, but I’m now realizing at the vast majority of people don’t have the discipline to drive one
@@zhenren9703True, most cars today are fast compared to the cars we drove back in my youth. You can go online and check the car test numbers for old and new cars. Look up the test results for a classic old “hot” car like a 1960’s Pontiac GTO muscle car against a little modern grocery getter six cylinder Honda minivan and you’ll be surprised.
However a lot of electric cars like the Tesla have astonishingly fast acceleration with no internal combustion engine drama so you can get yourself in big trouble in the blink of an eye.
the vast majority of cars on the road are capable of over 100 mph.
@@JoeOvercoat Not back in the 70's.Many of my high school friends died in crashes during the "muscle car" era. Today's EV's have the torque and power of some of those old muscle cars but they now have much stronger structure in the passenger compartment and air bags to protect passengers. The sad thing is, you can't currently, notice I said currently, "prevent stupid". Flooring the gas pedal on any car could result in the outcome in this crash. Many cars are capable of that speed. I wonder if future vehicles could "prevent stupid" decisions and save lives.
Young men and a car that can do 0-60 in under 4 seconds - not a good combo.

speed doesn't kill its the sudden stop at the end that gets you every time.
My mom told me a story about my dad (R.I.P.) when he was young. He was out cruising around with buddies in a car, and the driver started to drive really fast. My father objected and said “if you don’t slow down, stop and I’ll get out and walk“. Then one night it happened to me and I remembered that story. I told my friend to slow down. He teased me, but eventually he did. Thankfully, I’ve had the benefit of two great parents.
6 people in a 5 seater vehicle ? definitely drinking and driving
So much stupidity and not enough parental guidance.
Thankfully in this case, no innocent people were killed.
Plus the idiot driver Mo had a suspended license, probably from speeding fines or DUI; he never should’ve been driving and look what he did; ruining several families forever. All because he felt entitled and was a narcissist I bet; thinking the rules didn’t apply to him as he was the exception.
What these videos don't explain is that there is a slight bend in the road. So a moron going 100 mph in a vehicle thats gross overweight due to having 6 occupants has no time to react to it. Even more so If the driver has never driven that street before and doesn't know that the bend is coming.

U can fit 6 In a tesla?
That's my question.
Well from the looks of it, it was most likely a 2018-2020 Tesla model 3 which can hold 4 adults comfortably while it can fit 5, it would be a bit of a uncomfortable ride so unless the 6th person was really short or they were laying down on the lap of the 3 people sitting in the back, there’s no way it can fit 6 people all in one go😭🙏

Tesla Model 3 only seats 5 people... and per news reports because the rear passengers were ejected. They probably had no seatbelts because they were beyond capacity.
