Were you surprised at the results of the Kool Aid test??
I'd use those colors! Cool. Merry Christmas.
Oh Yeah!
Heak yea!
World's Worst Fishing, cake mix, soy sauce, duck sauce, dry spices, fruit chunks, yogurt & hot sauce
endless options!
How funny would it have been if the kool-aid man busted through your wall like " oh yeah "
I was disappointed that he didn't ha
Hahaha
Taggin Tails Outdoors this comment deserves more likes
Dude that is awesome! I like how the thinner areas on the grape ones transitioned to almost clear.
Dude you are hilarious! Great show! Looking forward to seeing more.
color and scented all at once....awesome
Wondering if a lab hotplate would be a good buy for you. They've got magnetic stirring, just gotta find the size of stir bar that would work for something that thick. It would also keep the plastisol hot so no need to throw it back in the microwave.
The super cheap ones are around 30 bucks here in Canada so south of the border they'd be way cheaper. At least it wouldn't be an expensive experiment.
Or a double boiler like candy makers use may work.
Those looked pretty awesome!! I was waiting for a sniff or taste test.
haha sorry to disappoint..but they smelled great
When you catch a fish yell oh yeah
This is hilarious fish hook up voice reaction
Fishing may have sucked but thanks for demonstrating my suggestion. I think the effect was cool and liked the tropical punch color the best. Did the baits retain the smell after they cured?
Yeah they still smell pretty good haha
Raining all day here so no hunting. Looks like I need to make some baits. I may see if I can overcome the moisture on Koolaid remelts.
Taste them!
@@SuperRobertheath 😂😂😂😂 I would 👊. Hell I'll buy some .
I wish I could have grape one it looks amazing 😉
Awesome results! They turned out great 👍🏻 I cannot wait to try this on my ice fishing plastics. Great job and idea.
its a pain but a fun project
He should try making fish eggs out of the kool aid blends, rainbow trout would probably love them.
Not until Koolaid comes out with a CORN flavored drink... 🤔
@@Duschbag trout eat sweet stuff like marshmallows, so no need for corn.
I like how you say WE. Makes me feel like I'm out there with you trying to catch one.
Today is my introduction to World's Worst Fishing. I subscribed, I'll hang in here with ya. Since retiring I've considered making my own baits, maybe you'll convince me. We'll see. Keep the videos coming.
Glad to have you man!! It's the best hobby in the world!
Product you made looks kool. But yeah thats fishing ive had plenty of those days lately. All we can do is keep fishing.
Since you're into the realm of food grade colorants, you should try turmeric powder. It might just make one of the most intense yellow's you've ever seen!
Never mixed it into plastic and I'm not sure if you have either, but mica powder (dollar store eye shadow) does some pretty cool stuff, too.
It might burn the fish's mouth & taste terrible! But the mica is a fantastic idea for sure
If you ever try this again I’d say try using a electric plug in stove or a heating piece that slowly brings it to temperature or as you are mixing it keep it on something that keeps it up to temperature
Nothing like good ole country smoke, awesome video
One tip for color powder: For best mixing result, put powder first and add just a few plastisol. Mix it . Add rest of plastisol and heat.
I have best result when mix color before heating.
(Sorry for my english....i'm just French 😂)
Okay I always thought you sounded like hank Hill, but when you said " you guys remember the coffee?" Sent me rolling
Awesome vid! Koolaid lures looked great, but it was kind of funny
absolutely amazed by the koolaid baits. nice job
OMG!!! I want those grape kool aid crawls!!!
haha thanks...they arent bad
Wow never expected those baits to come out gorgeous in appearance seeing you used juice mixes to make them
Grape lures look fantastic.
Nice color looks good.
Awesome video. Great results!! What fluke bait mold is that? Thanks
Angling ai
Great stuff!! Thanks for the response!
They are very nice molds you use.
This video was so dope. Very creative buddy.
thanks man
That black flack with the blue flacks is beautiful👍💯
Great video neighbor.... thank you for the info... Keep up the great work!
Would love to try those lures to see how the fish react
Cool video I’m going to try that I use hot water bath to set my mixing cup in and I don’t use metallic stir stick it cools it down to fast love them colors your going to catch tons of bass!!!!
Hey love your channel. Great information. I hope to start making my own plastics. Very soon. I'm just trying to sort out who will I be buying the molds and colors from. By the way, why do you call your channel Worlds Worst Fishing?
Shot! That reminders me! I need to go burn my trash!
Nice... kinda surprised with how well the colors looked. Have a great holiday!!
you too man
The tropical punch looks amazing.
This is amazing after I buy the molds is it possible to melt water bottles for my plastic? I only drink bottled water so if its possible It would be nice to have a use for all the empty bottles ihave in the trash.
That is probably the coolest thing I have ever seen!
Haha well thanks
How do they fish? Does the Koolaid flavor mean anything? Great idea and execution.
A regular hot plate is slower than a microwave but for this out works great. You can use a small aluminum can to melt and re-melt your plastics. Use a piece of aluminum or wood crafts stick to stir.
The red color would be good for speckled trout and flounder . In Eastpoint channel on cold low tide
I want to see that first mold in action.
The pine straw around your tree looks good and what if you tried half a cool aid pack to your cup or 1/4 of it making my gears turn in my head lol. Awesome job
I would have never given it a thought but I am willing to try. I would be worried about moisture in the powder.
Yeah I basically went to war with bubbles
I bet its the sugar if you use a hot plate it wont bubble
@@billallmon4094 the koolaid packets shouldn't have sugar. Should just be flavoring and coloring.
Master, I used powders. Unfortunately, it did not work like yours. Did you combine it with other ingredients other than schematic powder, which is not brittle. Thank you for explaining the formula to me.
One of the most unusual baits I ever used was Sour Gummy Worms. I was fishing with a buddy and as he was moving to a point he kicked the tub of night crawlers into the water.
I started joking that the bass in the lake might like something sour and rigged up a Gummy worm in bright yellow/green/blue. I caught three bass in the four-pound range and my buddy caught a five-pounder before we had to leave so I could go to work.
Hello, engineer, do you use schematic powder, what additional materials do you mix to make it stable and firm?
cool aid has a lemon lime that would probably make an interesting worm. also cool aid has a liquid concentrate that might work. could maybe make baits darker or lighter. cool vid.
Need more videos of you fishing your awesome baits. Bless up🤙
Those turned out nice! Too bad you didn't catch a fish. Fishing here in Alabama has been about the same. I haven't caught many fish at all.
Yeah I haven't had a good winter that's for sure.
Hey, I have a quick question I just started making my own lures and can I ask you put all of your lures in water after you shoot them. Love the vids keep it up
The punch bug colour is awesome.
I would fish them in a heartbeat !
What liquid are your using for Cure bath? Water ? Also how long of a bath? Warm liquid or cool?
Is it better to over or undercook your homemade baits
I was! I figured it be loaded with moisture. I was surprised that it went crazy when you reheated it.
it blew up with bubbles
Have you ever tried to match Cabin creek Dirty Dark green pumpkin color? I think it looks like the MF dark watermelon color.
You should try Tang next time! Pretty cool video!
I like the transparent crawdad (the legs and claws), it looks like the craw has molted , which many fish wait for because they are softer to eat.
VERY COOL BAITS. WHERE CAN I GET THE MOLTS AND THE PLASTIC TO MAKE MY OWN BAITS
Been a while since I’ve watched your videos!
Glad to have you back
looks great but how do they smell?
I love those grape craws 👍👍👍
Have you used them yet??? i would love to know how they worked or even do a give away for them.
me too
You didn't watch to the end of the video where he uses them, did you?
A really entertaining & interesting video once again. Have you tried the colour shifting mica powder in the baits? Thanks for keeping me entertained whilst my family watch TV! Would the Moon Dust pop and crackle in the plastic or stay dormant until they hit the water? Take care & tight lines my friend 👍😷👍🏴
do you flavor all of your baits, if so with what? Thanks, it's crazy what you can do with normal household things
Except for the last ones these turned out looking great! What is it you do the final dip in that makes them shiny?
You clear dip in just regular plastisol without any color
@@WorldsWorstFishing Thank you
@@WorldsWorstFishing When you clear dip should the plastisol be really hot?
If I’m using pigment powder do I heat the plastisol up first and then add the pigment or add the pigment first and then heat it up?
Have you considered using a hot plate to preheat the molds? You can control the temp with the dial and less flames than the torch.
havent had good results with hot plates..some guys use a small convection oven tho
I wonder if you could use the propane torch on the measuring cup to reheat it?
Pre-Scented!!!! Awesome idea
Awesome vid Chris and I think it would be awesome if you made sent baits with garlic powder and Mac n cheese powder and corn flour similar to berkley sent baits and berkley powerbait maybe ice jigs corn and garlic worms and cheese Shad
haha I like the garlic idea
Wow those turned out too notch!
I am curious about trying to make my own. How would I get started here in Aus??
Where did you get your bait molds from cause I’m wanna make my own soft plastics but I don’t know where to find them or how to make them
Amazing Hack... Great Video
I've never made my own lures. This was very interesting. Using koolade and glitter for colors. I wonder if the scent/flavor of the koolade does anything to attract fish ? What if a fish attractant was added ?
To me they turned out awesome 😎
Maybe a beer worm
That drumroll was badass
Damn beautiful looking baits.
Need a link for a good duel injector and lamination block. P.s. you make some beautiful lures!
I love this idea, and I would love to use those baits myself.
Great colors!
These baits would be awesome over here at my local hood lakes..
the cool aid crawdads how cool is that,,,
That finesse worm and longer worm is something I would throw out in the water. I think they would have success. Would love to see some kind of watermelon red similar to zooms color
I'm pretty new to this game. I started with dead on finesse plastisol, which is pretty soft. Could you do a video on how you clean everything up? Your work space, equipment, and molds always look new. Mine's a mess already.
409 cleaner and rags haha...clean up after each time you pour..
@@WorldsWorstFishing I've tried several kitchen cleaners and none got rid of the oily residue. I'll give 409 a shot, thanks. Btw, I think I've watched all the videos you have posted. They are the most helpful of anyone's soft plastic videos. Thanks for posting.
How long do you have to let it sit after you pour into the mold
you can use a torch to get rid of all the surface bubbles, just flash the top quickly and you wont get any plastic burn
Thank you for using my idea from the comment in the coffe video
Yeah man!! My pleasure
World's Worst Fishing Keep on doing what you do
This is seriously so damn cool. never wouldve thought to do this
It's a pain but was fun to do once ha
Hey man so I’m 15 and me and my friend are gunna start a little soft plastics making company, any tips for us?
u ever seen plastic with compartments for ur attractant,, for i truly believe in more bites with attractants. how do u make those grooves,, there s a idea.
Where do you get those nice molds
What you do wit the slag? The left overs the cut offs? You should do a fishing challenge with a buddy. I think yo could make it work!
Did you ever try these again on the water? Any luck?
have you ever try mixing plastics soft and med
Yes..you can essentially create your own blends by mixing them
Dang nice drum roll !!!!
the cherry would of looked nice with chartreuse tail for the kicker tails
Would be an amazing worm
