Instead of waiting for the air-bubbles to rise up, you can set the microwave at defrost for about 2 minutes, and all the air-bubbles will rise and the plastisol will stay warm. love your videos!!
If you don't want to vacuum the silicone mold (of if someone else don't have a vacuum chamber)you can use a small brush to paint the silicone on the core to pop any micro bubbles. Then hold the silicone a foot or so above the mold box and pour a thin stream of silicone in slowly. The thin stream will keep any airbubles from forming during the pour. Just keep pouring in a single corner of the mold box and let the silicone flow around the core. Not sure if it is any faster but definitely has very worked well for me.
Life just seams to be so much nicer the world some much brighter just after watching any of these Videos. Marling has to be the best YT'er out there hands down.
You are very good and knowledgeable about what you do, and what you can do with soft plastics. I never knew you can go into such detail when making soft plastics!? Mind BLOWN!! You did a superb job on these swimbaits. Keep them coming 👍
Here's a lure idea... Keith here. Long time viewer here. Love your work! So here's an idea for a lure. I actually made this lure years ago when I was in college (i'm 56 now). It was the only lure I've ever made and needed more work I never put into it. Picture the front inch and a half or two inches of a 7 inch Original Floating Rapala. The back, where its cut off is slightly hollowed out like a popper mouth. The front treble is still there, plus where the hollowed out back is there's a eye that connects to a worm hook. Then you thread your favorite worm onto that back hook. Probably a nice curly tail worm? The thought is to have the traditional action of an Original Floating Rapala with the worm action trailing behind. Hope you dig my idea and give it a shot some day!
I love that your channel is getting into soft plastics as my new channel to binge watch is World Worse Fishing channel. Glad my favourite hand carved N painted bait maker is making this sort of content.ThankQ.TkEZ>UK
I got into fishing two years ago. Saw your vids and started making my own baits. Stopped fishing and stopped watching your vids and now I’m back and I want make baits again

i love how there are already a bunch of comments on a 24 minute video not even 15 minutes after it was released. i paused the video to post this by the way
You can go and buy a Mason jar vacuum sealer at Walmart for the food saver machine To get the air bubbles out And you can put Mason jars in the microwave
I sooo felt his pain when he said he has to go mingle with other humans
Retweet?
I feel the same way. Mingle...🤢
Me too, mmhmm, people an coffee make me a nervous.
