*Altogether a well made lure **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s the skirt seems to stay on well and the whole thing is bigger than I thought it would be. The 2 metal have a nice plating on them as well.*
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
I got some saucy swimmers for the first time last week. Man I really like the smell of these things. As weird as it sounds I'd buy a candle of that saucy swimmer scent 👍🏻👍🏻
@@kboutdoorspnw3147 it isn't just anise oil. My grandmother makes spiced cider every christmas and anise is one of the spices, this does not smell like that spice. It has a more sweet smell, with something else mixed in there.
Just starting out myself and glad you have these videos for tips. Made my first dual injection yamamato worms today no bubbles. Slightly less opaque than what I was going for but a nice symmetric line nonetheless.
First of all, take it easy, hello, I'm Mustafa relieved, I'm watching you and admiring the products you've made. I'm grateful to you for being informed and giving us information while watching you. Do you mix a component as a mixture, thank you, take it easy 🙏🙏🙏🙏
First vid I've watched of yours. I was definitely considering subscribing after about 6 minutes, but at 9:45 seeing as your a fellow rhythm section member that pretty much sealed the deal.
If I were going to start making my own plastics what molds do you recommend? Also is it necessary to have doors open or can a fan or two running be enough air circulation?
Where did you get the 9" ribbon tail worm mold. Is that one an injector too. Or hand pour? I'm looking to just do the worm, 1 creature style and a smaller swimbait. What molds do you use?
How do you manage to put a full cup in the vac chamber without spill over? I can usually only get half a cup/container of remelted plastic to work out without spilling.
Nice! Can you turn the blending block while you're pushing and see what that would look like. I've always wondered ever since I've seen you make the first laminate. And my favorite was the junebug/green pumpkin
Ok thanks, I’ll look around.I’m the Swat Baits guy by the way. Very green at this but trying hard and learning a ton from you. I appreciate all your vids.
Man those came out way better than I thought they would being melted down.. those punch bugs are the best in my opinion .. awesome awesome awesome 🤜🤛👊👊👊
What do you do with all the scraps? I feel like they add up eventually and if you were to hold onto them sorted by color you'd eventually be able to get a whole other batch
@@WorldsWorstFishing thanks for the response!! Seriously considering starting with senko molds then moving into other stuff. My girlfriend said she would be into fishing more if she could design her own baits. If you haven't already you should do a video on like the bins of scraps you have and make mixed breed baits! Should be interesting with all the different types of plastisols and brands mixed together
also i think the giant clear fish at the end was amazing,, work great on big fish. wonder if possible make a rubber spider,, i know bass loves big spiders, hmm
Cool video! Those frogs turned out looking nice. Edit: all the baits turned out really well!! It would be really cool to learn how to do what you’re doing.
I love your videos and this one is no exception. Sometimes I find myself thinking, I would just like to fish the sprues. Like a cross between tube and paddle tail. Maybe a weighted swimbait hook? Maybe a trailer treble? Could be a fun video.
move off the do-it molds and move into real cnc machined molds....if that's not the case, hold lioght pressure on the injector to make sure each cavity vents the air out
How many molds did you order and how much plastic are you starting off with? I just dropped $2k on molds, plastisol, injectors, pigments, glitter, packaging, and labels and I feel like I have nothing lol
Congrats, you have taken a bait I would not use and made baits that I would use. I have a pile of used baits that I need to remelt and make new baits. I need a good mold any suggestions?
Just an estimate how much does all of this cost like the mold vacuum the tube thing and that heat thing and can you send the company who makes the molds link?
Hey Chris, Can you do a movie, showing what plastic you would use if you wanted to recreate Zoom's plastic, or the Googan's plastic, etc.? I'm sure, by touch, you can tell which plastic you would use. Hope that makes sense. Great movie, BTW
Really? I figured you'd be able to feel a certain brand of bait and say, that's pretty close to a DO tube blend plastic, for example. Just a thought. Keep up the good movies.
Have you ever taken versions of the ‘same’ color from different brands and did a re-melt? Like Zoom Junebug meted with Reaction Innovations Junebug. Could be interesting?
Thank you for watching, which remelts were your favorite???
All of them :)
thanks!!
Punch bugs
Punch bugs for sure
Hell yea

you should get the epic pud mold from Marling baits and do some glow in the dark lures

Love the videos that you are using actual bait to meltdown to reuse. That has been very helpful information as I am starting out new and want to reuse
Glad to help
