dude youre still dealing with that injury (this vids a month old) ... I just bought an 06 accord coupe manual, 150k miles ... I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, haven't gotten it on the lift yet (this weekend). Has 3rd gear synchro issue, pops out of 3rd when I gun it hard... will probably do the fix one day and this video has some great timing. Thank you for the video and subbed and good luck with that shit.
I'm looking forward to seeing that integra "smoke my civic"! 🔥🔥🔥 Hopefully, by then, I'll have my R18 skunk2 camshaft installed to even the playing field a bit. I'm still super jealous about that B18C1 VTEC! It is so much fun watching these videos!!! 👍
@Donny The Late Model Tech right now I'm waiting for some honda seals & o-rings & other miscellaneous timing components to ship, so it'll probably be a few more weeks... I'll let you know when, for sure 👍. In the meantime, I hope your recovery is going well! 😁
Very detailed transmission process.👍I'll know who to watch next time to do a tranny job for the b series.😁 I hope you're okay bro. Metal can be replaced but we cannot. Praying for your arm a speedy recovery. Take care.
My 91 Integra upshifts perfectly, but won’t downshift into third gear so thinking it needs synchros replaced. I’m not a mechanic, so I need to have it done for me. How many hours will it take?
Hey Brother, I watched a couple of your videos on the jeep 42re 4×4 transfer case rebuild and, Well done! I have a question.. I have 2 98 jeeps, grand limited and a laredo. I want to swap the 2wheel transmission into the 4wheel. Is there a input shaft replacement for that?
Right, sorry. Can I get a replacement input shaft on my transfer case to properly match the 2wheel drive transmission once the overdrive is removed from it?
Timken sources them from a few premium mfgs. Who actually made it? Should be stamped on the bearing. Compare it to the honda one. Damn, take your time working the strength back up, and do legs and core in the meantime. You will be suprised how much less ya do with a bum arm.
only 1.8K views??? By far the best tutorial I've ever seen for a transmission rebuild/fix. Very clear, very simple to follow makes it look easy!
Thanks for the support man. Making UA-cam videos isn’t easy, lol.
Best trans explaination I have seen yet. Well don’t bro and thank you.
Most appreciated.
Got sure. Do you have any future dogbox videos for k series?
Ouch, I'll make sure to buy a proper trans jack when I do mine!
Be careful out there. It’s good to see people actually do watch these videos all the way to the end. Much appreciated!
@@Donnythelatemodeltech Yes this was very helpful! Did you end up needing surgery on that bicep?
@@95TurboSol yes, I had the surgery about 3 weeks ago. Just getting back to trying to make some content, but pretty limited on what I can do.
Dang, well good luck on your recovery, hope it heals fast for you 👍
Banger video as always. Hope you heal up fast so you can bang some gears
Thanks, Steven. I've got no plans to slow down. Lol.
Haha that's the champ mindset 💪 👏

Good sir, this video is excellent. Now, I have a legit question...where can I find the actual gears? Is this a lost case?

Whens the cam going down? I wanna drop by. Thanks for commenting again... I apparently didn't notify subs the first time.

Arm carnage sucks. Hope to see it back on the road soon.
For real. No idea how I swapped my crv awd trans solo with no jack without hurting myself! A good reason to hit the gym.

Thanks brother 🙏
Good video as always Donny!
I appreciate that
Can the syncros also cause it to just pop out of gear?
Great vid! Hope your arm heals up!
💪👍 Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome 😊
Best video🎉
Why Brass vs Carbon option for synchro replacement?
I have to change my awd 5 speeds input shaft bearing asap looks kind of intimidating, I do know the awd trans is different than these.
Almost the exact same. Awd is definitely heavier. ua-cam.com/video/S5Avg5k1r-s/v-deo.html
How u mount the license plate on 98 front bumper
Arm check - How’s it healing? Great content as always.
Sup MUNS ! Arms all good, had surgery like two weeks ago. Getting some much needed time off. How’s things?
Things are good man. Glad you were able to get fixed up and rest some. Looking at visiting real soon. Would love to catch up!
Htown represent!

Thanks, I’m not really understanding what your question is about the input shaft

@@michaelmceachern1084 oh, so you want to bolt up the transfer case up to the 2wd transmission correct?
I hate that you posted this now of all times because my engine is out and I LITERALLY NEED to replace my 3rd gear synchro..
Why the hate?
@@Donnythelatemodeltech I wasn't planning on spending the money to rebuild my trans until I saw this. 😅

@Billy Built oh lol.
How long did it take to do all this Donny?
Probably like a weekend
