Oh man I’ll be using that double extension trick to hold up the spindle next time I need to pull an axle. File that one under “why the hell didn’t I think of that before??” 😂😂
You guys always go over all the good stuff in detail! I love it! I just did a JDM B18C TypeR swap in my 97 Civic EJ8 EX Coupe "EK" and I used all the older Civic TypeR videos to get all my parts and info ready before hand and it went smooth as butter changing every OEM oil seal I could and timing belt, tensioner and water pump b4 install. I mean I did all of em and transmission lol. I've been keeping up with this series 100% and found it awesome cause I'm going to go back in and change the valve stem seals like the last video ya'll did! Thanks for always doing in depth tech vids! Ya'll are the A #1 Honda channel out right now and have been for a while 💪💪💪
Ah man I must say this series brings back all those feelings when I had my Integra’s. Makes me really want to get another to be honest lol But this time to be my forever car 💘
That gsr came out great 🔥 happy to see it done but it also sucks because no more build video's on it that's my favorite part is fixing building restoration
Perfect video for me: I have a JDM GS-R Motor in a JDM EK4 SiR with an unknown clutch (hate the pedal feel). I wanted an OEM clutch; good to know the Exedy is a decent replacement.
Like always gotta love this oem content and funny how I just replaced my clutch with the same kit but I ended up using the koyo clutch release bearing instead of the one that came with the exedy kit cause I wanted Japan parts and it makes a big difference
SINCE WHEN DID [H]ONDA O.E.M. MAKE A "BLUE OIL PAN GASKET" ?? I DID THE SAME EXEDY CLUTCH, PRESSURE PLATE AND ALL O.E.M. BEARINGS GASKETS & SEALS ETC..... IT'S LOOK GOOD AND THOSE EXDEY FEEL GREAT CAN'T BEAT IT FOR THE PRICE KEEP IT UP GUY'S
@@ahcgarage the OEM D and B series oil pan gaskets are known to have issues. I have a FelPro one on mine now, and plan to try the one TJ used on the turbo Civic next. That one seems like it has a great design. Won’t squish out and deform when the nuts are torqued.
Love this kind of content I’m curious what’s the secret sauce in that pump spryer that cleaned the transmission area so well man just spray and that’s it left the area shiny and clean ???
No lie I really like this video . No need to say anything just watch 👌 I had a question . Do u use Honda bond on the oil pan gasket ? Top and bottom? Or just the bottom side? Also wat u torque the oil pan bolts to?
Hondabond should be applied on all four joining corners in the block side, oil pan side is an option. As for the oil pan bolts/nuts, 8.7lbf.ft or 12N.m is the spec.
This vehicle equipped with the older ABS system. At this point, we are going to leave it and possibly retrofit it to the newer ABS system in the future
@@ahcgarage Now that would be interesting to see. I have the same car, just 2 more doors. My ABS system randomly will go on the fritz, then be fine. I would be very interested to see the new ABS system retrofitted in to replace the old one!
Can you tell me which model number clutch kit you got from exedy? I want to put the best closest to Oem clutch in my 01 gsr. I don’t want a hard clutch pedal pressure. Thanks

One of few of Mike’s old tricks 😆
Funny I said the same thing and I’m actually gonna try it today gotta replace my axles they getting worn 😅
I noticed that too! Lol will definitely do that in the future especially since I mostly work on my cars alone
Such attention to detail on this whole series for the Integra. Thank you for bringing back some memories from when I had my Integra back in 2002.
Glad you enjoy it

But this time to be my forever car 💘
Always to pick one up and relive our childhood
Thank you so much for this whole series on getting a GSR back to as OEM as possible. Great job!!! Thanks for all the information.
Our pleasure!
Awesome job guys! I used to have a 99 Milano Red GSR. This series has brought back so many memories. thank you for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Man you guys take such good care of these cars if I had a Honda I'd definitely send it to you to work on
Wow, thanks!
That gsr came out great 🔥 happy to see it done but it also sucks because no more build video's on it that's my favorite part is fixing building restoration
We will have more of these restoration series in the near future. Stay tuned.
Nice job!! I used the exact clutch for my ‘94 Integra GSR too! Plus new OEM clutch master and slave cylinder. Clutch is buttery smooth!
I also used the same, installed back in 2008. It’s got just over 100k miles on it now since install.
Can’t beat that 😊
@@Patrick94GSR we can’t wait to start putting some miles on this GS-R
music had me hooked! getting ready to change my clutch out soon, thanks for the thorough vid!
We are glad the music kept you engaged and that the video was helpful!
Omg I’ve been waiting for a video like this
Hope you enjoy it!!
That's a great refresher good job keep it up
Thanks a lot
Much appreciated it
Great video once again gentlemen, I needed to see this and get in the mode for yanking a B-series out of an Integra ;)
Right on!

Exedy is the OEM clutch disc and pressure plate manufacturer. It will be your best option if you’re looking for a stock setup
Great content as always. I'm waiting for the day you guys get a customer with a 2nd Gen RL A-Spec looking for the full AHC treatment.
Thanks for the support
Excellent work as always
. this would be a great car to bring to tail of the dragon next year!
We agree!
Awesome job on this video. Will help plenty I’m sure!
I appreciate it!
Finally another episode 😊

YEAH MAN ITS DOPE
Looks like a FelPro oil pan gasket most likely. The OEM gasket on these cars is not very good. Design flaws etc.
The blue oil pan gasket isn’t Oem. We will get that replaced once the gasket is back in stock
@@ahcgarage the OEM D and B series oil pan gaskets are known to have issues. I have a FelPro one on mine now, and plan to try the one TJ used on the turbo Civic next. That one seems like it has a great design. Won’t squish out and deform when the nuts are torqued.

60k miles and clutch look like that? They must of went hard on it
Agreed!!
What brand of HIGH Temp Grease did you guys use ? , Heard the Honda Urea Grease is discontinued?
Great video but can you make some instructional ones and tell what your doing through out the video please
What is Up with the em1 resto/build?
Just catching up with these current projects and we will pick it back up. Coming soon
What kind of clutch comes stock in acuras when you buy one? Or who makes them ?
For this vehicle is Exedy
I forget if I had asked this already, are you going to source the ABS parts and reinstall the system? Or just leave it out at this point?

If this how y’all do y’all work I luv to take my car there
I have the entire oem suspension for you. Shoot me a message.
Wonderful video. Thanks for the detail.
Thanks for watching
No lube on the spline? See other vids ppl say lube it and the tip too ? Wat u think?

EXEDY OE CLUTCH KIT fits 94-01 ACURA INTEGRA RS LS GS GSR TYPE-R 1.8L B18B B18C
Should be KHC05, visible at the beginning when the boxes were laid out on the table. We are about the put the same kit in our EM1 refresh.
a h c 👌
Cheers!!
Anyone has an 94-97 OEM ABS pump (in working condition) or NON-ABS brake lines? Any help is greatly appreciated
Number matching 1:12
👍🏻🇺🇸
Cheers!!
this needs a k swap i wanna see u guys do one of those
We do have a plan to do a full K-Swap series on another vehicle
I’m lazy I use a air hammer for shift linkage pin
I have an air hammer anvil specifically made for the Honda shift linkage pin. Removes it in 2 seconds with no need to swing a hammer.
That’s work too haha
@@Patrick94GSR But that take away from the fun, possibly banging your fingers 😅😂
