- When Charlie Adelson’s sister, Wendi Adelson, took the stand Thursday, snarky comments flew between Wendi and the prosecutor. At one point, the two got into a heated argument surrounding accusations that Wendi Adelson told police her brother allegedly spoke about hiring a hitman to kill her ex-husband, Dan Markel. Wendi Adelson denied that her family had any part in the murder. Charlie Adelson was arrested for first-degree murder - investigators believe he hired several people to murder Markel.

This whole Adelson family reminds me of the Wagner family who wanted custody of their granddaughter so they conspired and killed 7 people from a family that had shared custody of the 4 year old. It was a senseless massacre.
George Wagner was found guilty of the murders along with his brother Jake and Angela Wagner the mastermind conspirator who was behind it with her husband Billy Wagner., imo Angela got what they call a sweetheart deal, 30 year sentence for having 7 people shot to death in their beds and a young mother was even breastfeeding her baby when she was shot and killed with blood everywhere! It's was a brutal, cold assassination.
She should change their name back to Markel now - its clean. No worries, they'll do it themselves in a few years. The Adelson clan has also robbed Dan's parents of years of contact with all they have left of their son.

Wendi even tried to set up her boyfriend, Jeff after Dan was murdered! She drove by the crime scene after Dan was murdered! Then she went to the liquor store and bought Bullet Bourbon! So much symbolism!! I admire Georgia, the prosecutor in this case!!

Wendi's immunity is limited. She cannot have the testimony she gives in this trial used against her. However if evidence is acquired outside of this testimony or if someone like Charlie comes forward and implicates Wendi then there is no immunity in that case.
They just arrested the mother Donna who was fleeing to Vietnam (one way ticket) and I truly believe Wendi's time is coming soon.

The prosecutor keeps hammering home the word “Dan was murdered” or referencing “the murder” and Wendi always responds with the word “killed”. Wendi never refers to it as a murder. Interesting.

Wendi doesn’t understand questions about her husband’s murder she couldn’t remember about the crime , but she remembered that it was the other people could killed Dan.
There was exactly ONE question that she said she didn't understand and that question did not make a lot of sense.
This prosecutor makes no bones about her dislike and disbelief of Wendi Adelson's testimony. Her ( seemingly) laconic cross- examination of WA belies a smart, thorough, and incisive means of exposing the bs this witness is sprouting.

Wendi Adelson should not be a lawyer at all, because she ordered her brother to carry out the murder of Dan Markel. To me I think that its her fault, but her mother (Donna Adelson) is being overprotective of their precious daughter. She and her mother should be in jail for life. I called it a ‘sinner’. @@Rebecca-hc5ju Yeah, he's a sociology professor and works in research. His testimony was amazing. It put everything together. Luis's testimony was also very good. He stated "that lady is the one that told us where Dan would be", I am paraphrasing but she would be the only person that would know his whereabouts, even if it was told to Charlie first. The exchange almost become Wendi on trial.
Nope... Wendi riled up her family to want to murder her ex on her behalf. She knew before the hit that it was going to happen and she went out of her way to go to a liquor store near Dan's house so she could drive by there and make sure the deed was done. Do you honestly believe the family would have him murdered and keep her in the dark? This was the father of her children. No one is going to kill him without her buy in.

WA said the Geek repairman stated that the TV could NOT be repaired, yet testifies that she called CA to see if she should repair the tv or buy a new one..... I feel that is when CA let her know that the hit was complete, Dan was shot....
If Wendi was absolutely not involved she would have never drop the ball on Charlie’s joke about killing Dan. She is completely involved and knows they want her so she’s throwing her whole family under the bus trying to distance herself!
She planted that seed with many people. Jeff Lacasse was one of them, first telling him about Charlie looking into hiring a hitman. He testified to it on the stand and during his police interview. On the stand Wendi denied it, that he ever said such a thing to her. Another one of her dirty lies. I'd believe Jeff over her any day!
