Despite never agreeing to it, the stranger goes through with the murder and then extorts the husband and claims the cops will never believe the H had nothing to do with it. You never know!😮😮

She was terrible. She had ZERO gotcha moments. She asked a bunch of questions and he answered them. She didn't challenge him on ANYTHING.
Charlie will have to convict himself with his narcissistic personality. I believe he did, but these jurors are Florabama people. Not the sharpest knives in the block.

"rough up" is not and adjective.
It's called a "phrasal verb", a verb plus an adverb or a preposition. An idiomatic phrase.
FACT | Tato, Tuto & Katie didn't have to murder Dan to extort money from this guy. PROSECUTORS' QUESTION | "Why couldn't they just come put a gun on your head and say "give me all the money and you are save"? His response: "Thank God they didn't". Doubles down: "Thank God they didn't or I would have been killed'. On these two things rest his conviction. Count on it!
This prosecutor was not a queen cobra....but I think the jury will see right through charlie's smugness and CONVICT.
