I agree that it will be satisfying to watch this family be exposed, but I also think it's important to remember that there are real victims in this case - namely, Dan Markel's children. I hope that as this case unfolds, we can keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

Amazing how Wendi destroyed her own family. Brother sits in jail waiting to be sentenced to life. Her father probably is a mess and waiting for the proverbial shoe to drop. Her mother the same, always waking up in the middle of night expecting the cops kicking her door to come an arrest her. But the saddest part is Wendi's children as they become adults and are about to discover the only family they have ever known is a corrupt and murderous bunch. Sad.

I'm not sure if they're insane, but they definitely seem like they're capable of some pretty terrible things. It's really sad that this whole situation has ended up being a war over the children. I hope the DA is able to get justice for Dan Markel and his family.

This Adelson family is immoral. Those parents apparently instilled education and success into their kids…but failed to teach them how to be good human beings.
The prosecutors are really taking their time in this case, knocking them out one at a time.
I'd rather them take their time and get everyone involved convicted than rush and not get everyone. Hopefully that get Wendi too. Screw her.
There is no statue of limitations for murder.
It’s really the only way you can do this one though is to work your way backwards to eventually get to the source (the family) with each prior conviction substantiating the case against the next defendant, making it easier to convict by removing any reasonable doubt and to get the ultimate justice for his family in the end. Also increases the probability of each one flipping (one has already, another is about to) when the resentment of them sitting in a cell for probably life dawns on them, whilst the masterminds all continue to walk free. Very cleverly done and purposely orchestrated by the prosecution because if any case fails it throws doubt on any future potential convictions they’re after, can’t risk that.
This is basically like the worst game show in the world, where the contestants don’t want to participate but they’re legally obligated to regardless but with the guarantee that they will all win the big grand prize at the end…. PRISON. 😂

@@gwens5093 That's not the type of immunity you think it is. It was not full immunity. She can be charged at a later date if there is sufficient evidence. Two lawyers explained it in detail on another channel.

Imagine being so wealthy and blessed in life you can do, go, eat, drink anything you want. He had a good life, including sleeping around with beautiful women, because his money and wealth allowed him too. He threw it all away, and it is highly likely he will spend the rest of his life in prison because of his selfish and murderous crimes.
CA poor decision making have put him in a jail cell most likely for life. He had it all job, health, woman, cars, boats and money. He listened to his sister and choose to be evil like her. He made his own bed. Don't feel sorry for him. He will think about what he has done to himself the next 40 years everyday, while rotting away in his cement box.

Charlie is not too sharp. He was living a life most men would like to have. He has ruined his life and now lives in a jail cell. After he most likely gets convicted as a co- conspirator in Markel's murder, he will permanently be rotting away in that cement box, we call a jail cell. He made his own bed. I do not feel sorry for him. Deserves everything he has coming to him.
If Wendi isn’t arrested, there is no justice. She and her brother tried to frame her ex.
She was given part immunity in this case. Anything she says on the stand can't be used against her to charge her with murder.

Dan had the kids the day he was murdered but when the police informed Wendi of Dan's murder, she never once asked if the kids were ok as she already knew where they were at the time Dan was gunned down. Besides, only she would know the kids' schedule to inform the hitmen when to strike.
The only way I see Wendi getting arrested is if Katie has damming evidence or if Charlie risks it all and flips on Wendi and his parents.
Maybe Katie was left out the loop deliberately by Charlie. All Katie knows is that she was asked to find a hitman by Charlie. It may be difficult for her to implicate Katie if she doesn't know anything beyond what Charlie asked of her.

Charlie is a grown man and should’ve never gotten involved with trying to resolve his sisters issues but I can’t help but grow more resentful toward Wendi who it all started with. Wonder how she feels seeing her brother like that, knowing he is in solitary confinement etc. He’s not going to make it.

I remember reading how important it was to Dan to have the wedding reception dinner kosher. It was a shock when he arrived to his own wedding reception and the food wasn't. The Adelsons set a precedence right then, showing him his wants were not important.
I always wondered why she even married him knowing what his habits and beliefs were before making a lifetime commitment to it

@@oswaldo555 I believe some of the points include that the dependent has left the country and returned. The dependent is willing to present substantial bond. The defendent cannot tamper with witnesses because all the witnesses have already made statements in court. There is more more but all you have to do is open your ears and mind. I am just repeating what the lawyer said. You should be able to figure it out.

Hard to believe? It happens ALL the time. Life insurance and/or hatred are powerful motivators.

I don’t want to think about how this entire murder is going to affect the innocent son’s of Dan. They will one day see everything that the entire world has seen about how the grandparents they have been forced to live with and their own mother were responsible for the death of their father that loved them so much. He loved them so much that he lost his life shot in the face and suffering for hours before he died. They will know that their uncle and mother created a horrible plot to murder their daddy all because they wanted to and had the money to pay for hit men to shoot him. They will probably never want to visit their entire family on their mother’s side in prison while serving their life sentences and I hope they don’t.
I bet they are already researching because kids in school talk and tend to harass children from notorious criminal parents.

You have Katie, who was running around being reckless, and Sigfredo was apparently some head honcho of a gang, involved in recklessness as well. They didn’t ask to be involved in all of that, and now their two parents are locked away in prison. The 4 precious babies involved in all of this (Dan and Katie’s children) are the one’s who suffer the most. So heartbreaking!
