Noob Trucker in the UK, bringing other new drivers the heads up on what its really like as a new driver. Milti drop and otherwise.I have been driving commercially for one year now and my vlogs are here to show you what driving a HGV the the UK is really like, I don't delete the bad bits its all raw and as it happens.

My understanding of OTR is “on the road” and the welded sheets are usually called “mesh” by site workers.
Yeah reinforcing mesh. We use it for concrete pads, precast etc here in NZ , I assume it’s the same over there.
I've been a over the road (otr) owner operator for the past thirty years. My understanding of the term means just that your always over the road, driving or sleeping your constantly in your truck.
I do also regional transport which means iam home a couple of times during the week, while a otr driver is gone for a week or months at a time.
Love the vlog! its interesting to see what other driver's have to deal with.
Excellent Vid yet again mate. Always a joy to watch keep them coming.
Many thanks Jay, interesting to see you at work. Take care.
Just started binge watching all your vids. Gunna try get my hgv licence next year and i learn a lot watching these. Hopefully i can find a job when i pass as everywhere wants experience.
i passed my class 1 this year, april to be exact. only just managed to get a job that i start monday that would take me on as a new driver. prestons of potto and others are more open to new passes but just be relentless, cross your t's and dot your i's, youll get there too!
Thanks 👍 jay for another ace road 🛣️ video in the DAF XF.
Another great video as always mate keep it up take care
Nice 👌 one as usual Jay 🚚👍
Should’ve had some corner protectors or atleast some rubber packs on that rebar. I move steel on a daily basis and dvsa pull up on it everytime. Good video nonetheless👍🏻
Gray vlog jay 👍🏻

So close to 50K subscribers, I bet you can almost taste it 😅. That piece of machinery was probably a pile driver (enter smutty comments here), no, not that sort 😉😂

Couple of questions. 1. What's your commute like now to AS Taylors & 2. After using a manual, manual or automatic?
I`ve recently read that American hauling companies are recruiting ATS players to drive real trucks. Have you heard of anybody recruiting ETS2 players this side of the pond?
Hi Jay great video again mate trucker jenko on Sam k bit

How many days and hours do you normally work per week ?
I've passed my license 9 months ago, but didn't get a job yet. What your suggestions would be for me, if I'm a bit scared driving HGV?
