You could park L&S on top of some blocks so the bed is tilted, then just use the winch to let the new one down slow.

I took her with me in the log truck one time. The job had some of the sketchiest roads. She didn't like
being on extremely narrow roads when there were very steep and very deep canyons on her side.

Seemed odd that you cut the stack than unbolt it or cut the brackets and take it down but we dont know the state of the bolts, you do. Hopefully enough parts to make it worth while. Andrea seems OK with your 6th truck purchase.

I think you need to stop buying junk and concentrate on getting a K100 finished. I Subbed a while ago when you were going to do the BJ & the Bear truck, (Kenny) and you've not done anything to it for a long time.
That's why I bought this for parts for the K100s
