We have them fitted in all our trucks at Aldi, but if im being completely honest, most of us rarely ever use them. Their only benefit is having the odd glance at as part of mirror checks when reversing into stores to make sure no tiny children or pedestrians have suddenly ended up behind your trailer out of nowhere.
Back in the early 2000s the company I was leased too had a load called "the hurricane watch" We would load generators for F.M.A. and run from Minnesota to a southern state and wait for the hurricane to make landfall. If it was bad we would go there with the generators if not head back home. I times I did it they just sent me back to Minnesota.
William sounds awesome! The UK version dealing with a hurricane. White vans would deliver kites to keep the residents pre-occupied during a slightly breezy day! Cups of tea & biccies as back up. Hah-hah!
I'll be going past the place when I go back in to work at the nearby Segro Gateway site.... Just came back from another festival just off J3 A50, Perverts In Leather :D
Another good un Jay, did my trucking in U/K in the 60/70s to mid 80s then moved to Australia and did another 23yrs trucking here. Apart from the motorways, your deliveries are pretty much the same now as they were back then, mostly tight spots to get in and out, which can be very frustrating. Good to have all the mod cons though, makes it easy to get into places, makes me wonder how we did it back then, but would do it all again . 82 yrs old now but still love going trucking with you guys. Keep your shiny side up.
I know that bridge over da M60 Bredbury as used to drive 8 wheel tippers around Manchester and the NW England for my mate P.P O’Conner and J Hopkins.I noticed one of PP tippers in front of you on da M60.Miss not living in Manchester now live in Castlebar County Mayo since Oct 2021.Great video Jay lad👍
It’s a working truck jay I’m in a different wagon daily we don’t get paid enough to look after wagons and the hours mate. I left army after 9 years enjoying the class 1 left full time long hours to go agency less hours and paid what worth…
Look after #1 jay we are all just bums on seats or a number at end of day these company’s don’t care about drivers. I left a company that lost 11 drivers in 2 month all were reliable and hard working moved on to better jobs the company gave a pay rise to get them back, there didn’t return 😂
My little girl loves watching ure blogs she is only 6,
Love download festival me. Im off to bloodstock too in 2 weeks, happy trucking.
Just found this channel and im really enjoying... really like the content Jay!
Orsm vlog Jay ...tks mate 🙂
always happy to see you
Many thanks for the ride, like the countryside from the cab. Take care.
One thing you may help. if you can get a reversing cam fitted that may help where you can’t see it.
it won't and it would cost thousands as every trailer would need fitting and wiring new cables to the truck in cab screens etc.

theres no way them front tyres have legal tread 👀👀
do you know that HGV and cars have different legal depth? 1mm across 75% is the Legal minimum for a HGV.
