I used to cut my friend some slack for not cheering on my wins, reasoning that we just want different things-she's family-focused, and I'm career-driven. I thought people needed to relate to your goals to truly be happy for you.
The older I am more I think if it even possible to have real friendships these days. It's so hard to find genuine people in general. Or maybe I am becoming more introverted with time.
@@Je_suis_julia yes you probably are! Or you are less inclined to put yourself in situations where you need to be more extroverted. This is very common as people get older, they don’t see the benefit in being more social because they already had the experience when they were younger and maybe it wasn’t as rewarding as they thought it would be. It is certainly possible to have real friends, but most people would only have a handful of true friends in life. Thank you for your comment :)
Hi mrs hart thank you so much for your motivation i really enjoyed it. I remember when i used to have alot of fake friends in school and they were behaving like scumbags. These are all the reasons why i always keep to myself because we never know who to trust. The only person we trust is god.
@@JoshHassan-m9r its important to keep a level head about your expectations of others but I would try not to close yourself too much from the world. You could also miss out on genuine and fulfilling friendships! thank you for your comment!
