I'm a Toyota guy but let them ROT! crazy prices and mark ups. Dealers need to learn the hard way people!
Same here my friend!
My old Tundra will be my last....as I am not a rich nor foolish man.
It's also fugly, imo
Me too. I’m sick of the games. I passed on a Lexus NX in favor of a Tesla model Y after trying to get the NX for over a year without success and even if I could get it, $5k worth of BS markups.
Toyota do away with dealerships and allow customers to buy directly through them. Eliminate the middleman. Like Tesla.
50k for an SR5!?!?! GTFOH
It’ll be like $55k out the door

I was just explaining that to my gf, basic for 50k or pay 10k more and get the trd offroad premium.. anything basic should be 30-35k
Short answer? NO!
Long answer? HELL NO!!
I'm also hearing about engine reliability issues. The Tacoma somewhat, but the Tundra a lot. Meanwhile you can get an older Toyota that will run until the end of time for much less money. Maybe I'll just hang on to my old Tundra for a few more years yet.
Pickup trucks should be basic utility vehicles without alot of gadgets and a huge price tag. I'd love to see manufacturers get the message.
Part of the issue is emissions regulations. The engineering tricks they come up with to try to meet those standards drives up the price due to all the electronics they need to install for emissions control.
I agree. Today's trucks have all the extra features that luxury cars had years ago that I don't need or want in a truck. And all the small trucks today have tiny beds that make them useless to even haul 10 ft long lumber for a DIY homeowner.
ford maverick
Brings back Prerunner trim.
Doesn’t allocate any to dealerships.
They’ll sell whatever people will pay for..
50k, at 7 percent interest, for 60 months, puts your payment at like 900 bucks. BEFORE INSURANCE. So over a grand a month. For a basic truck. NO WAY.
It’s funny I just sat here and I did all the math and then I want to go into comments to say that’s over like 900 bucks a month you beat me to the punch and no I would not pay that forthat little truck… that’s fucking stupid…
Now 9% interest
@@Chef-vg4pu While I agree the price is not worth it but Tacomas are actually bigger than they use to. I'd rather them be the same size as they use to.
Current avg. new car payment is over $700.00. Almost 20% of new vehicle loans feature a payment of $1,000.00 per mo or more. Quite a few people are making some really bad financial decisions. Average buyer with a trade is over $6,000.00 underwater.
Better put a serious down payment on that.
Whatever happened to "keep it simple" a nice work truck, steel wheels, crank windows, no frills
Can't roll the window down with a cell phone in your hand and with basic mechanical knowledge you can fix it yourself. No money in that.
Single cab, useful bed.
The people that need them still have them. My 2000 Ranger hauls everything I need it to for my business. I paid $4,500 for it and I have had it for 14 years. So that is $321/ year. To buy a new truck from a dealer for $50,000 you would have to somehow keep it for 155 years to get the same rate that I pay.
This new stuff is for people who like to think they are smart for buying something with a "high resale value".
Yeah, I know, they are out there, so for one, it's called a (Toyota) HiLux, but sadly not available in the USA.
Sadly, the brand new truck is a status symbol for most people! And they can put in on social media for a bunch of "likes" and call themselves "content creators" That status symbol can cost up to $1000 dollars a month.
Keep your old cars people repair them 💯. Then you got a car for yrs and no payments 🎉🎉🎉🎉.
Word!!
That's what I've done with 24 of the 26 vehicles I've purchased in my lifetime! Only financed 2, but never again! Unless your a millionaire, buy used for cash, repair when needed, own it outright !
Yep I bought my Protege 10 years ago for $1750.00. two timing belts and regular oil changes kept it going strong.
I’ve bought my wife a new Honda and I took her old Volvo XC 90. 12 years old. I just dumped two grand into a car that’s worth 4 grand and I don’t care.
They’ve got that figured out too, already can’t get some parts for my 2011 Silverado. If we buy new they’ll just stop making parts. We’re screwed..
My brother had cash in hand to purchase his dream Tacoma 4x4.The dealer wouldn't budge on the "market adjustment."
4 weeks in, and he's loving his new FRONTIER.$1,200 OFF sticker.
He chose... wisely.
He should have waited 4 weeks, because at least where I live, they're are some decent discounts going on right now. All at least $2000 under TSRP to start.
Great truck! I am still driving my 2001 Xterra which is a Frontier with an SUV body.
Twice I've been shopping for a new vehicle and told the dealer the starting point was MSRP - if they mention the dealer greed tax even once I walk. And I did. Luckily when you're shopping for something common like a yota (or my last one, a Silverado) there is always another dealer just down the road. A little harder when I'm shopping for a Rover or Alfa like I used to - at that point they know they are the only option and can stick to their guns more.
@@donhappel9566 I've owned 4 Toyotas and I walk if they don't upfront OFFER $2000 off of MSRP. There is always a deal to be found on a Toyota regardless of the model. There are like 5 dealerships in every city.
When I see an additional markup, I WALK!
💯
I don’t see the problem, since you can do a $4000 market adjustment on your trade-in… right? ;-)
@@epbrown01 Why give the market adjustment to the dealer? It's your money, not the dealers.
Even if you are correct regarding your trade-in adjustment, and I saw no reference to that adjustment, $4K-$4K = ZERO for you. I would never pay MSRP for any vehicle.
@@epbrown01
Don’t forget the $1,600 administrative fee you charge to write/sign a check. If they want to be reimbursed for their administrative costs to sell a vehicle, then they should expect buyers to be reimbursed for our administrative costs to purchase a vehicle. Checks don’t write themselves, cash doesn’t magically appear in buyers pockets, bank financing didn’t just happen without any effort.
They still doing additional markups these days? 😂
Price is outrageous but moving away from a V6 to a turbo 4 cylinder isn't something I would want.
Thats right,I"ve got a 2012 v6 rav4,great,simple engine,265 hp-FAST!
Yes, it’s like putting a 9.9 hp outboard motor on a boat that’s rated for 15 hp. You’re going to be flooring it more and besides, the turbo has a lot more thermal stress under the hood. It’s just not going to last like a non-turbo V6. Personally, I would love to get a small V8.
That's what I thought also....until I drove the new Ford Ranger with a 4cyl. ecoboost. 270HP. It totally shocked me how much pickup speed it had. Now you can get the V6 Ecoboost with 315HP. That is way more HP and torque than you would need unless you were trying to tow an RV thru the mountains or something.
Small over worked turbo engines don't last very long.
I got a 06 v6 4.0 with 250,000 still runs great no mechanical problems some electrical you won’t find a 4 banger like that they can’t take the strain and yes I know the 22r was the little engine that did but they don’t make it anymore but they even had overheating problems 🤷🏻♂️
I bought a used 1999 Tacoma 2.4 @100,000 miles for $3,500 now it has 300,000 miles

That grill area looks like a nightmare to clean when all those pockets and crevices get full of dirt and insects .
I don't get these designs at all. What happened to nice clean lines on a vehicle? All these plastic grill pieces look cheap and ugly.
Best thing to do at that dealership, is Drive off the lot with your old vehicle.
Do not EVER do business with a Dealership that has " Dealership Markup Fees" ! Ever ! If you want to, tell the salesperson Why you are not buying from them.
These places make me want to stay there and tell anyone else dumb enough that comes to buy a vehicle to go someplace else .
It's incredible these thieves stay in business.
It's not just the markups like the $3995 on this Tacoma that people should refuse to pay, but the out of control "doc fees" that dealers are adding on to boost their profits. People finally realized years ago not to pay for add-ons like rustproofing or paint protection, but now they throw away hundreds just to have a dealer write up a sales order or process paperwork for a loan? F*** that shit!
They stay in business because of 1. Toyota only zealots. 2. stupid consumers, they either pay those stupid dealer add on's or the dealer takes off the "market adjustment" and they end up paying full sticker thinking they got a deal.
In 2021 the day before the auto shortage due to chips, we got us a 2021 Corolla for 16 grand.

$50k for a small truck? How about $15k for a simple small truck? Keep these, too much. First Nissan Hardbody truck I bought cast $9k. This is insane.
When I think of a small truck, the idea of a small V6 or 4 cylinder with a manual transmission comes to mind. What Toyota and Nissan are offering is ludicrous… you may as well buy a full size truck with a v8
And the price difference is surprisingly small. These entry level trucks are insanely expensive.
If anyone made one like that and has a full size bed for $20k I might consider it, keeping in mind the out the door cost would be at least $5k more for taxes and fees.
F- that dealer!!!

Crazy how prices have gone so high! 50k 4Runners and 70K Sequoias in what world does that make "ANY" sense!
Well, the ministry of truth say inflation is down and the economy is booming..
And now they are coming with a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine in a 4X4. I bought my 2020 TRD Sport 2 years ago and haven’t looked back. It has an actual power plant (V6 pushing 289 hp -stock). I paid just over $37K and wouldn’t take that now if someone offered it to me. I absolutely LOVE my Tacoma and have never regretted buying it.
Why did you put any in quotations 💀

@@aeromedical6776 My cousin has the 2018 TRD. Best pick-up he's had, and he owned F150's and Frontiers. Frontiers are close to Tacomas, and I doubt he's crazy enough to spend 50K on a Tacoma. He knows where he can buy 3 of them for years 2016 - 2020, in top shape., at that price.
My wife was pushing me to buy a new truck. I am a Toyota driver for years. Time to get rid of my Camry. I refuse to drive a new Tundra in LA traffic. New Tacoma is ugly and now seeing this. WOW! Got my 2006 Tundra out of storage and have been working on it for several months. Just about done and looking forward to doing it right!
I had every intention of buying a 2024 SR5. Cash. However, I neither need nor want 4WD. If I had it, I would never use it. As it turns out, I can't buy one that's 2WD. 4 different dealerships here in Maryland, as well as Toyota themselves, have told me. I can't order the one I want, I can only buy from what's "allocated" here. And the only thing allocated here is 4WD models. I just want a simple 2WD SR5 w/ upgrade. I'm retired, I'll never need to drive in the snow. I don't do off-road. Buying a 4WD would mean paying extra in initial price, pay in reduced gas mileage, pay in increased maintenance, all for something I'll never use.
And the ridiculous things is I'm driving my fourth one in a row. All 2WD, all bought here in Maryland. Now, apparently, I'll have to go cross country to get one. Or just buy something else. After 20+ years of driving Tacomas. It's like Toyota doesn't want customers anymore.
My ‘87 2wd only has 220K miles. Paid off decades ago. Why buy new?
@@buckdashe2571 Biggest reason, I'm now retired. I'd kind of like to go into my retirement with a new truck. One not driven 50-60 miles, one way, to work every day for years. And, one with newer electronics in the dash.
I'd also like to pass the 2015 I"m presently driving on to a grandson. Can't do that until I replace it.
I just really never imagined it would ever be this difficult to buy a vehicle. Particularly with no financing involved. Emails from Toyota dealers saying to come in and "custom order" what you want. Apparently, as long as it's not a Tacoma. Because everyone, including Toyota themselves, has told me I can't. It's like they are actively driving me away as a customer.

I bought my 2006 Tacoma SR5 V6 longbed for $26,500 out the door (tax, license, delivery fee, etc…). Once everything is added up these 2024 trucks will run you over $50k + financing. It’s been a very reliable vehicle, it tows up to 6500 lbs (4000 lbs is a good max if you don’t want the truck to struggle too much), and it seats up to 5 people. All of the bells and whistles added in 18 years + inflation doesn’t justify it doubling in price. It’s a great midsized truck, but even I wouldn’t buy another one at current prices.

My f350 diesel king ranch cost $97,000.
46k is a steal
…and yes I don’t have a payment, I save up, buy new and keep it forever. One and done. Never finance is car
I would never patronize a Dealer that charged over MSRP…. Don’t buy anything there. As someone who was in business for 40 years if you can’t survive working off of retail, you shouldn’t be in business in the first place! Simply taking advantage of the people that “have to have”. Ridiculous.
I had to walk out of a deal for a 2024 4x4 SR5. MSRP $42899. The dealer insisted on pushing too much in add-ons. Windshield package for $799, Summit package $2599, Tire and Wheel BS $499.plus a dealer fee of $699. They weren’t going to budge. Left my car in their lot, walked across the street to the Nissan dealer and bought a Frontier Pro4x for $42400 out the door. Nissan is dealing and want to reduce inventory. I got a good deal a Nissan. Hoo rah.
Toyota dealers make a ton off of those dealer add ons. A lot of the time, they don't even install the upgrades.
The Frontier is a solid truck. Also felt way more lively than the Tacoma. V6 with over 300 hp are very good numbers.
Nissan is built in Ms and 85% of the parts are US made. Tacos are Hencho en Mexico and $10k more than a comparable Pro4x Frontier. Looked at a Pro4x in Dallas and was $7000 of sticker with 2.9% Nissan financing
Looking at a frontier 4x4 SV with a long bed. Stickers around 41k. Although the dealer has kept putting on bump stickers with $8k adj since Covid I can’t think they would actually try to get that in this market. I would actually expect a healthy discount. Question is does anyone think the discounts will get better as the year progresses? I would assume so as long interest rates stay where they are. As inventory piles up something has to give.
The Frontier is a sweet machine.
Dealerships wouldn’t be charging these markups if people would stop paying them

I bought a new Pro 4x in Jan, 2021. It was the end of the previous body style but came with the new 3.8L engine/9-sp transmission. It was fully loaded in Cayenne Red and gray leather interior. I paid $36k for it. I no longer needed a pickup and wanted more interior room, so I traded if for an Acura MDX last year. I think I got $32k for my trade-in. It was a damn good truck.
The worst part is they will blame inflation and some people are dumb enough to fall for it. This is just flat out price gouging. I remember when a brand new base model Tacoma was 12-14k and then dealers found out that everybody wanted one so they started marking up the prices over the years. This wasn't even that long ago either. Like 12-15 years ago. There's no way in hell we've had a 500% increase in inflation over the past 15 years yet they are still using that lie because people will still fall for it. It's high time people stop buying new cars altogether for at least a few years so we can crash the market and get car prices back down to reasonable.
I _would_ say: "I'll show up at a Toyota dealership if they bring the Hilux Champ (IMV 0) to America"
But that assumes it would still be a $10k-ish truck when sold here. I have a feeling it would be closer to $30k out-the-door. Smh.

Kind of reminds me of the old joke about the hot dog vendor on a street corner selling his hot dogs for $1000 each. A passerby commented, "At that price you're not going to sell many hot dogs." The vendor replied, "No, but if I sell one I'm through for the day."
My cousin just got a 2024 Toyota Tacoma SR in Silver color rear wheel drive at sticker for around $37k. It does have leaf springs in the back suspension for the SR model but looks like the SR5 same silver alloy wheels. Only had couple small factory installed options. No dealer installed options. No dealer markups. He likes it handles really well. 😇
That price gets you a nicely equipped Colorado ZR2.
Rst Silverado 1500 4x4 with the mini duramax about 52k now.
Gets ya 2 Hilux GR Sports😅
Could it have something to do with pricing?
I remember when I bought like a 3 year-old Ford F-150 Lariat, Crew Cab, with a moon roof, in-dash DVD navigation system, premium leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, premium audio, premium allow wheels, custom side exit exhausts, the big V8, basically all the whistles... for $14k 😂 That was back in like 2008, got a 2005 F-150 Lariat basically given to me by the dealership. Now $14k wouldn't get you a Honda Civic less than 10 years old...
Isn’t a ZR2 52k? And they want 50k for an SR5?
Yep, technically a ZR2 can be as low as $48k if you get no options. Awesome truck too, this one is worth $30k going for $50k.
I got a 2022 Frontier Pro4x $42k fully loaded 4x4. Its been good so far.
It's not a Toyota 😂
@@jmyers6175the Nissan is made in the USA, Toyota made in Mexico.

Most truck buyers are mechanically inclined and don’t want a high strung turbo 4 cylinder.
I typically keep my vehicles way past 200k miles to get my moneys worth.
And they don’t get that much better gas mileage to justify the complexity.
2009 SR5 Prerunner. Love it. Best part. Been paid off for over 10 years.
You can't reduce cost (move production to Mexico), remove engine options (and put one in no one wants), and expect people are going to be chomping at the bit to buy them.
You know they have been built to n Mexico for a decade
@@ericvolkman1490 And they used to be much cheaper with a V6!
It's an insult to intelligent customers to go "hecho en Mexico " and still expect them to pay more than an American made Frontier.
Of course, the blind Toyota fanboys will still give their right arm to have it, just because.
@@jeanclaude7018 Because a Frontier will never last as long as a Toyota; crappy resale value too 😂
@@user-wv8rd2om3f More Toyota fanboy unresearched bullshit.
Frontier just edged out Tacoma on resale value. Look it up and find FACTS instead of mantras. Google it and cry.
Also see the TFL video of the Million Mile Frontier. Toyota is not better than that. Proof is proof. So is my 1987 Hardbody I've been driving since 1995.
Time was when the main reason people bought pickup trucks was because they were inexpensive transportation. Two doors, a bench seat and a bed in the back for hauling things. Now nearly every pickup out there is a crew cab, with all sorts of luxury items and nanny features that add on to the price. I guess a lot of people have a lot of money to piss away, judging by how many of these $50K and up pickups I see on the road. It's up to everyone to decide what to do with their own money, but personally I refuse to buy anything with a dealer markup on it. I think we'd all be better off following the example of billionaire Warren Buffett, who drives a 10 year old Cadillac. He's got enough money to be able to drive whatever he wants, yet he's smart enough not to waste a lot of money on a depreciating asset. It's always the people who don't really have a lot of money but want to present an image to their friends and neighbors that go out and buy ridiculously overpriced vehicles.
A little over a decade ago, I asked my father why many coworkers had relatively expensive new cars while I was driving a 20 y/o Oldsmobile. His answer was "It's because they have debt, but you have wealth!"
those overpriced pickups have become "masculinity badges".
@@edwil111 ...for the insecure.
Find yourself a good used vehicle. New vehicles are overpriced. Let someone else take the financial hit on the depreciation of a new vehicle.
WHY are there NO single regular cabs available?
I have been a car salesman for 5 major dealerships over the years. The best vehicle to buy is one that is 2 or 3 years old. They suffer the highest percentage of depreciation the first few years, and the bugs have usually been pretty well worked out by that time.
Why are they not selling? Two reasons: 1. PRICE, 2. No V-6 engine option.
Bullseye. "Market Adjustments" by this dealer are pure greed. There's no longer any shortage of Tacomas or Tundras. Hence why the dealer is burying them in the back of the lot to "hide" that fact.
Insane! Those trucks should be around $40k plus tax🤯
All those high dealer markups and fees should be illegal💯
Got my 2016 with 80.000 miles last year for $18K and could not be happier
We paid way too much for my 2023 Tacoma Trail at almost $4k off MSRP and 4% rate $46k out the door is way too much for a midsized truck let alone $56k. But, at least I get 4wd, a rear locker and everything else that comes standard (rear window, power seat, etc). I am so glad we didn’t wait for the 4th gen.
Yup this is why I am in the market for one of the new Generation Nissan Frontier's the new generation looks great and has great reviews when compared to the new tacos
I wish they made a nissan 5sp long bed.
Crazy, I paid $54k (out the door) in 2022 for my 4runner limited w/full time 4wheel dr. ALL the options except the extra seating in the 3rd row. WOW. AND a v6. Guess I'm driving it until the wheels fall off.
I bought my 2020 Trd off-road for 35 in Oregon, no taxes. I bought it in the beginning of covid
I paid $5k for my first gen tacoma V6, Manual w 4X4. Having the whole truck repainted for $8k. Decided to repaint/restore when I saw the price of the new Tacomas.
I am retired and 66 so for me i just wanted a basic no nonsense tacoma 4x4 with the 2.7 4 cy . so i bought one in Pa . 34,400 out the door. I dont need to tow with just me and my dog. its the sr model without the rear seats. let me say that 2.7 4 banger is a great engine. But you know the kids today want more power and all the gadgets, just remember that comes with a price, I checked out the that 4 cylinder turbo, you can keep it.I am so happy with my purchase. so easy to maintain . Listen, do not pay that market adjustment , if you finance you will be upside down at some point . Unless you make a good salary, i mean a six figure one. Or you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth!
What if it was a silver ladle instead of a spoon. Would that be better or worse?
High interest rates and these crazy starting prices(>$40k) the new car/truck market is going to suffer.
when? its been like this for 4 years now. how long can you float a dealership ?
Even at the $40K base price on the factory sticker that's a lot for a standard mid-size pick-up truck.
I saw something similar at my local dealership, while getting some parts for my Tacoma. A 4WD TRD Sport with 'access' cab and 6-spd manual trans was $55K on the factory window sticker, the dealer tacked on $4K in useless overpriced accessories and a $5K market adjustment, so that's $64K before taxes/registration. Who's buying these things? I'd love to get a 2WD crew cab with short bed, but not at those prices. My 16 year old 2WD Tacoma Access cab still runs great, I'll keep it a while longer.
That's a 28 to 33k truck . How did they evaluate the extra 24k? Trucks not body kitted nor pro-charged/boosted not even a factory nitrous kit. It doesn't even have a rugged off-road kit with wheels and trail lights
Aside from the price, I’d never trust the reliability of a turbo 4 cylinder. I’ll keep my v6 2023 off road 4x4.
It depends on who built it, and how hard you're planning on driving it.
Simply no value. Same reason small trucks stopped selling years ago. Too much money for too little truck.
EPA regulations killed the actual small/affordable trucks.
@@user-un4mu1hj5oYup the EPA environmental scam. You can’t make a small truck anymore because it doesn’t meet the EPA mileage standards for cars that size, BUT you can make a larger truck that gets much worse gas mileage and pollutes more because it DOES meet their standards.
Hey Rev nation who's blue prius is that 😊
I was just at Priority and they had only one available and they wanted 5k over msrp. I got one $1500 under msrp and love it. The engine is fabulous, lots of power and I got 24.9mpg today.
That's great, but... I recently bought a new F150 XLT Supercab 5.0 4x4 for 46k. Plus, it has a 6.5ft bed, all aluminum body and my V8 gets 22+ on the highway all day long... thats calculated at the pump btw.
These Tacoma prices are just ridiculous.
The extended cab Tacoma doesn't even have rear doors to access what's behind the front seats!

I picked up an SR trim 4x4 double cab with the manual transmission with no add ons and no bs dealer markups. Sticker was $38,550 and OTD was around $41. I’ll agree that they’re overall way more expensive than the outgoing generation but it seems to be overlooked that the 2024 is better equipped in standard base model form than the 16-23 was. I paid the same amount for a 22 trd sport but my new SR has several features that the trd sport did not. Would I pay $50k for an sr5? Hell no! But I’m happy with a 4x4 manual that’s not stripped down to nothing for $41k
I have a 21 fully loaded Off Road long bed, my out the door price was $42k, $13k more for a 4 cylinder stripped down SR5? Hahahahah nope!
My lawnmower can tow more than a munual sr only 3500lbs lol what a shame
@@KyleRattay Not true. That pertains to the detuned version of the SR. The manual SR has the same power output as the manual trd trims thus the same towing capacity.
Where I am in CT, I couldn’t find a single base model, 2wd 2024 Tacoma, but tons, and tons of tacomas loaded up with options. I just want a basic pickup. The new Frontier is looking better every day, but I’m guessing there won’t be any base models available anywhere.
Bought a 2021 tundra V8 one of the last gonna hold on to it for many years.
What’s up with these new pickups truck with short beds? Why is that? Aren’t pickup 🛻 trucks supposed to be useful for such as a thing like loading with stuff. What happened?
Used to be that your truck came standard with an eight foot bed. Now it’s extra. The SUV is what killed the American truck. To many people trying to look tough but are soft in the middle.
The configuration of trucks most people want to buy are the crew cabs with the short beds, so that’s what the manufacturers make the most of.
Hard to find a long bed these days, let along a standard short (6.75'). Even worse, a decent payload. In the 70's the little toy trucks would haul a ton.
Keeping my 22 SR 5 its paid for does what i need it to do.
I enjoy these car channels criticizing the market but this was the first one to make a direct recommendation where to put your money. 👍🏼
Without a recommendation, how long are people supposed to sit on their hands when they might really need a newer vehicle.

That means all discussions should end and nothing else can ever be debated on the subject.
@@reichpanzer2418he is correct. I dislike Toyota in general. They are not bad by any means but no Toyota has ever been impressive to me. They imo have always been middle of the road. But I at least in the Taco's case, they have been proven to be reliable. A turbo 4 can NEVER be as reliable as a NA 6.
Turbo charged motors are not reliable long-term and 300k reliability and high resale value are one of the main selling points of Toyota. Also, who wants turbo-lag on a truck? Turbos are no good for low RPM work, like offroading and tow/hauling (basically all the stuff trucks are meant to do.)

That same used truck is about $45,000+ in my area in 2024.

I just bought a new 2023 Tacoma SR, access cab with the tried and true 2.7 motor. I want no part of the new turbo mess that Toyota is now using in 2024. I paid 29.5k for it and love it.
Let me start by saying that, of 70+ vehicles, the one that I kept the longest (20 years) was a ‘99 Tacoma. Loved it! But there’s NO WAY that I’d pay $40,000 for those new Tacomas…let alone $50,000!
