i wish my dad and brother had lived long enough to enjoy watching trout fishing on youtube, they would have loved it. trout fly fishing was a way of life for them. i still have some of their tackle and flies that they tied. thnx for the show.
Merci beaucoup cordialement Didier .
Small creek with probably NO fishing pressure because most anglers wouldn’t even think that it held anything, it’s no wonder they’re so prolific and big. I love your slingshot technique. Never seen that before. Will have to try it sometime. Very nice vid!
In Alaska I used to walk down the road in our neighborhood and in the woods right behind it was a tiny little creek everybody just turned a blind eye to except me. One day I had very good luck and hooked probably two dozen giant rainbow trout no smaller than my forearm and sometimes bigger, on the walk home I had 2 big trout in my bag carrying my fishing pole and some guy in his truck stopped and asked me where I was fishing, I told him that little creek and pointed, he laughed in my face and said there aren't any fish in there, I laughed back knowing what was in my bag. 😂
Quite a neat little stream! Looks like it offers some ideal spawning conditions - spring water and clean gravel. Well done on handling those larger fish, Andrew!
He handled then horribly. Bigger fish should be supported with 2 hands. The strain on the trouts nervous system by supporting them with one hand in the middle, causes an 80% death rate within 3 days.
What a stunning video!!! The fall yellow colours, …those gorgeous trout with that red spots…that minute creek containing big fish…the superb angler´s skill getting his fly in such small holes of water and managing to get a bite of those big fish …that fish getting in that mass of weeds…I repeat…what a wonderful footage!
Brilliant, fantastic fishing in that wee burn. It's amazing where you find brown trout, I once fished whats more or less a bog in the middle of remote hills here in Scotland and caught a 14 pound wild brownie followed soon after by a 7pounder. It was snowing aswell in March. You would have swore there would never be fish in it, I couldn't believe it. The water was rich in feeding, frogs, newts, birds, leeches, thick with reeds and weeds
What a beautiful little Creek. Absolutely awesome how such large trout live in water that skinny.. thank you for sharing. Your videography is really top notch.
Incredible the size of creek where you're nailing nice browns and 15 inch +. The gun(s) got my attention. Thanks! I always look forward to your content.
one of my bucket list goals for trout fishing is to catch a trout from a stream that i can step across or straddle. i ain't done it yet, so i stand impressed at your accomplishments. also, i ditto the compliments on your casting skills. tight lines!
Those were some of the loveliest browns I’ve ever seen and from such a tiny stream man that was just epic what dreams are made of 💯👌🏼 I’m not even into fly fishing I’m strictly wild browns on lures 💙🎣🏴
Stunning fish/scenery/fishing!! the red dot on the adipose fin at about 3:49 (guns in background) and the depth of dark coloration on the big trout at 8:56 are amazing, as was the huge trout at about 6:51- Keep on sharing, Andrew- your work gets better and better!! Jealous in CT (although we do have some pretty nice wild brook trout and browns in our blue line streams).
Luogo incantevole! GRAZIE!
To keep a few fish to eat is not a crime. There are many more wild places with many fish who haven’t ever seen a hook in America in comparison to Europe. Some streams have too many fish which keep their sizes small because of over competition for food.
Once again you amaze me with your precision casting. You should definitely hold the title as cast master! Great video as always, you and your brother are killing it.
Love this video. This is what my best dreams are made of. I had a similar experience in a tiny trib. years ago in Montana….but nowhere near as many fish. BTW…. You’re great at hitting such a narrow stream…nice casting !
Where I live, all I am going to catch in a creek this size are creek chubs, bluegill, green sunfish, red horse suckers, Southern redbelly Dace(rare) and a few other species not including the darters. Nice creek and catches!
Loved watching you catch that big ol brownie in that narrow creek with deep pockets and then the dark one in those weeds. Awesome stuff and always tight lines. Tony
I went to help a friend break down his hidden summer camp in the Colorado Rocky mountains. We had already had one light snow and he needed to get it dismantled and removed before the snow got heavy. There was a small creek running down beside his camp that was barely 12 to 16 inches wide and it was loaded with Brookies! If he had told me about them I would've brought my fishing gear, but he didn't so all I could do was stand there and watch the trout darting about in front of me. A few days later a big snow hit and closed the pass to the hidden camp site. I was going to go back after Spring thaw and do some fishing, but ended up moving away before then. That creek looked a LOT like the one in your video!
Sup Andrew,...dude PROPS on the small creek fishin man.🙂👍 Gotta love the productivity on the TINESTY of creeks. WELL DONE my friend.🥳 Love the vidz on these "West Coast" fishing areas in the Colorados.....I'm pretty sure this was where you were at.🤔 You are SERIOUSLY in a fishing MECHA dude! At least if I'm right. Peace man.✌😎
That creek is a lot bigger than you think it is, if you count the under cuts in bank. That stream has a lot of them with good water flows and no doubt food for the trout. Easy living for the fish.
Man those are some HUGE fish! Some are almost at LEAST 6 ounces! lolol. I kid, I kid, but no really...that is super cool man. It's such a small little narrow and shallow creek and you still caught some really good ones (that one @ 6:26, holy shit) and if you had to survive, ALL would suffice. That looks like a ton of fun. Sweet video man!
Its my abousoute dream to fish a stream like this. Seriously i am not joking ive had numerous dreams of me fishing a stream like this and catching incredible trout.

i fished some very small creeks one time out in wyoming when visiting a friend. the fish were small but a lot of action and fun.
Great video very difficult conditions mastered in a beautiful location,we'll done.
This is actually amazing brother! Makes me want to keep exploring the small creeks at home
Definitely enjoyed watching. I can't get over how dark those brown's were. Beautiful!
They've definitely been sitting in those weeds! Thanks for watching

I read in a fishing magazine, years and years ago, that some of the best trout streams are ones you can literally step across. They were right!
Beautiful fish, for a small creek!!
Great video, always something to look forward to. Thank you!
Glad you enjoy the videos!
Stumbled upon your channel, thought I would check it out. Hard to believe the size of some of those trout you were getting in the little stream.
That was a tank for that tiny stream , so much fun !
Man i dont care how many you have caught, the color on those beautiful fish never gets old
Couldn't agree more
Great fisherman! Great video. Thanks.
\
Glad you explained. When you said "spring Creek" I thought it meant the creek is only flowing in the spring time and dries up in the summer. Lol
Way to go Andrew! It is so hard to believe that fish that size were in that little creek.
That place looks absolutely magical!!!

Class..down stream with a wet fly would work great good video
Love fishing for brown trout and yes they do spook very easy. they have very good hearing. One spin, crack.and their gone!
I very much like how you treat the fish (short on the air, wet hands, using net). Congrats.
Love the tiny creek fishing series
Never thought a creek like this would hold that kind of trout
The red spots on the adipose fin are gorgeous at 3:45!
This is incredible Andrew - such big fish from the tiniest of places. Admire your skill too - that must be an 8ft rod?
Yep! 8'4"
Hooking a fish is one of the best things in life!
Great video. Really cool creek.
Thank you!
wow, this is insane trout resources!
Just hammered them! Looked like a lot of fun.
It was a blast!
Fresh caught trout fillet, bacon, two eggs over medium in a cast iron skillet on a camp fire....Nothing like it !
That is the coolest little stream I’ve ever seen
General location would be great! But so cool 😎
Nice work keeping them in the water during the fight.
I don’t know why I found this hilarious lol but at least you had fun. That’s all that matters. Tight lines

My local stream is exactly the same in size to that stream more or less, and there’s browns in there to 4lbs or so! Love me some small streams
Had more water in my gutters on a rainy day. Exceptional.

Fun watch! Thanks :)
Its my abousoute dream to fish a stream like this. Seriously i am not joking ive had numerous dreams of me fishing a stream like this and catching incredible trout.
Hahaha!! That's awesome. This creek was a bit of a dream to be honest
@@hardmanfishing Yeah so happy for you!!
Great video. Too bad I'm not an accurate-enough fisherman to take on those narrow streams.
