Absolutely LOVED your video! Lee’s Ferry is known to have a consistent water temperature year round which makes the fly fishing consistently good. The next time you’re there and have problems getting action, I would stick to fishing the foam line (which is the conveyor belt for food for fish). Nobody ever regrets a trip to Lee’s Ferry. 😇
One of the most beautiful places on the planet to fish. I would recommend hiring a guide for your first day. Then set out on your own with the new found knowledge. We catch giant browns using bass gear and large jerk baits. Huge rainbows are in the mix. Very nice video.
The Grand Canyon was certainly very pretty. I really hope you get the chance to visit America and go fishing and camping. I would love to know where you are from.
@@Desertflyduo I am from Slovenia. The editing and script for your video is very good I think your channel will grow, because it already looks like a channel with a lot of subscribers now the algorithm just has to bite. Good luck and have a nice day.
Sad to see the demise of a great fishery . The average trout in the late 70s was five pounds and my personal best was 10 pounds and 31 inches long on 4# test. Old Timer.
Suggest getting your line to your reel before landing your fish. If a larger fish runs without any drag, you will have a mess on your hands. Nice video.
I guess it was all the things we learned from the first two days. Mabey we were just at the right spot at the right time. What do you think made a difference about the third day.
only advice for catching a bit more fish, try aiming your rod 45 degrees up stream so you can work more water without having to change positions. great video tho young fella
Great job telling the story! Seems like you guys had a fun trip. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!
Thank you so much. It was an awesome trip but if you ever want to go to Lees Ferry, I recommend going sometime in the summer when it is warmer.
Great video. I’ve fished Lee’s Ferry several times. Took a boat to the damn and drifted down. Beautiful place. I’d like to get back some day.
Thanks for the comment! We love Lees Ferry too and are looking forward to our next trip out there. We plan to maybe get a guide and fish near the dam.

Thank you so much. That's a great tip! I've heard of people fishing the foam line and it's definitely something to try next time.
@ Anytime! In fact, my wife has yet to make it to the Grand Canyon, so maybe when I bring her back, we could meet up and fish Lee’s Ferry together. 😇

Are you catching those on nymphs or dry fly?
We were catching them on San Juan Worms and Nymphs under an indicator
