Isn't that where the discussion about gear use has gone lately? Towards minimum effective doses. Too bad this isn't being studied anymore, but I can definitely see how 20mg could be as effective as 100mg. Interesting find, would love more of this in the future.
Yes exactly! But this kind of notion isn’t widely accepted because “logically” the higher the dose the more anabolic but that isn’t always the case.

how were the dosages taken? once a day or spread through the day?
Is it possible that the increased cortisol could have been an era and metabolites of dianabol were picked up as cortisol but weren't actually cortisol. Similar to some testosterone testing where if one is also on nandrolone, it picks it up on the labs as testosterone, so you can have a false high testosterone reading. But anabolics like primobolan aren't picked up as testosterone on the same lab test.
Just a thought, as many anabolics usually block cortisol receptors???
Every 4 months i do one week of dianabol(never more than 15mg per day with 10 mg tablets) to break platos. Never side effects, never pct , everytime feeling better than before.
How well does that work for you? After your first week did you see any type of results?
@Abc123gut really small to none results in terms of pure muscle mass. Helps a lot with strength though so you build more muscle long term.
Directly 15mg or 3x5mg on the day?
@alim419. 3×5 MG if you don't have a test base. Otherwise you can just take it all at once

love dbol solo cycles at 15 to 30mg for 6 weeks or so, no sides, and with no pct, hpta bounces back straight away, no dip after discounting use

@@stevelarson3391I did 60mg dbol for 8 weeks. Funny enough I lost all the weight gains but my strength maintained
It’s an interesting effect I see in clients opting to go for oral only cycles. The low testosterone on cycle causes a reactive increase in LH which when the person is off the steroid stimulates the still sensitive leydig cells to produce more testosterone than normal but the effect isn’t sustained

Should try and do a video on why dianabol has this mood improvement aspect? Would love to source the actual reason why? Some say it's gaba. Some say dopamine and some also say that methyl estradiol is raising serotonin levels? 10mg of dianabol to me is an awesome mood boost. Just a shame that it can't be run for prolonged periods similar to anti depressants etc
Cortisol metabolism is altered by methadrostebolone, one of those studies showed in a graph a very high cortisol levei, f interested look at the effects of of the 11BHSD enzyme

I did just over 8 weeks at 80mg day years ago didn't grow loads of muscle didn't really put on any size but the strength gain was incredible everything I was doing in the gym became easy I could throw round the 40kg dumbbells and bench 130 could have done more but my wrists were fucked 2 weeks after coming off was a rough ride only had tamoxifen for pct so lesson learned the hard way

4:50: So the authors of the study noted the moon faces of the participants but claim that no side effects were reported? This sounds to me as if something in the study setup prevented the participants from reporting side effects and their liver values simply weren't checked. Maybe they even reported lots of side effects but these were inconvenient for the authors if their intended outcome of the study was that Dianabol was great for muscle development.
I can't imagine how painful the back pumps and spasms must have been. i know that Winstrol caused my calve and the sole of my foot to spasm badly while sleeping.
I find it interesting that cortisol is high tho considering most people report happiness on dbol I wonder if it can cause panic after cessation

Hydrocortisone can actually increase performance when used like a preworkout, it was common practice in cycling and I think they used rather low dose of 10-20mg of Hydrocortisone and it was hard to pick up on drug testing???
Years ago i saved a load of these old studies looking at dianabol, winstrol, anadrol, and anavar. Most showed 5 to 10mg orally were as effective for strength and weight gain as higher doses. If i recall correctly one study on dianabol or winstol i can't remember now had a 2 weeks on 1 off 2 on design and showed double the wight gain over the rest. I lost them all when an old harddrive crashed with them all saved 🙈 one always found these interesting though especially with the demonisation going on and the rampand dosage abuse these days

It's funny that you mentioned the 2 week on protocol. I myself was a big proponent of such cycles. I never stayed on anything for longer than 4 weeks without taking an equal or greater period off. I experienced very few side-effects and was very pleased with my results. I was NOT a bodybuilder trying to get as massive as possible. I enjoy sprinting 100m under 12 seconds and bench pressing 500lb all at a bodyweight under 240lb. I enjoy functional speed, power and strength.

Nicholas, to convert kgs to pounds you multiply kgs by 2 and add 10%, i.e. 3 kg x 2 = 6 + 10% = 6.6 pounds.

Ciba that did the testing on dbol did note that "some" people was using upwards of 300mg a day.

I agree as i took 15 mg a day for 8 weeks and another cycle of 30mg a day for 8 weeks and both were no different except more acne with the higher dose cycle. I'd say 15 mg a day is the ideal dosage.
Did you even use it the right way,? You're supposed to take at least 25-50mg of dianabol an hour before your workout. The half life of dbol is like 6 hours. Dont break up your dbol throughout the day, take the full dose,wait one hour,than workout.
Probably not, all the research I found before I took my first cycle said split it up during the day so there's a steady dose of the drug in your blood throughout the day. So that's probably misinformation. So my last cycle was just 10 mg 30 minutes before a workout and than 5mg 6 hours later. Than I was diagnosed with diverticulitis and then just diverticulosis and now I'm scared Dianibol caused this? I don't know? I want to take another cycle but nobody has any answers about steroid use causing this or not. Thanks for your information !

But the fact that Arnold took 2 things only is great ofc when took 800-1000 mg if dbol ofc ur going to get huge I. Two days but that’s insane for whatever they are using today it’s insane guys die young bc of it !! The fact that they now make it so bad for people who want to try it makes no sense whatsoever to try it out it takes away all of the fun and desire to try it out! Such a shame ! Oh well

Something is very wrong about that 100 mg study. Very little side-effects from such a dose and only 3kg weight increase and no statistically significant performance increase??? I call bullshit!

Logically I also think it is BS but at the same time the researchers were trying to prove that AAS actually have clinically significant performance benefits
