Thank you Eniola, for the first time in forever, my puff puff finally turned out perfect. I have tried so many times with some many recipes...for wia! Now, good luck to my waistline.
I had to subscribe. This recipe reminds me of my childhood days here in Kenya. There was a guy who used to make these at the roadside so we would buy them on our way home. Delicious, simple times they were
Perfect!!!! In Greece we call puff puff - loukoumades we add honey, cinnamon and walnuts over them. I make them using your hand technique, but girl I'm definitely using the ice cream scoop next time!!! Clean hands and perfect round puffs!!! Thanks for the tips
I am from the Caribbean island and my husband is Nigerian he loves his puff puff bad and use the first and second methods but am sure going to try the 4th method thanks darling.
Thank you, been looking for a video like this for ages. Love puffpuff, favourite African food. My friend uses a desert spoon to make hers all the same size though the ice=cream scoop sound to be a brilliant idea.
Thank you so much for this. This is the first time I made perfect puff-puffs. I had been using warm water for the fast rising yeast and the dough never rises. Trying the cold water method today worked magic. Thank you so much. I’m so elated.
Oh oh I used warm water, hope my dough raises!!!! Was wondering why she didnt mention warm water as others do ..sigh lol. My dough is currently warming up.
I wonder those who unliked this very informative video. Anyhoo, that shows how there's so much hate in the world we live in. The icecream scoop is the way to go. Tech 1,2,3 is what our grandmothers used and people still use them today which works for them. Thank God for technology!
Techniques 1,2, and 3 are technology. Using an alien instrument such as the ice cream scoop isn't advanced, and doesn't require the skill that using the hands you were blessed with does.
@@wordsbymaribeja1470 Oh yes you're right !!! I actually tried all techniques except the one with the icing bag and the hand method came out to be the best. The only downside to me was the sticky hands. Or may be I wasn't doing something right.😆
I'm just seeing this video! Your explanation is clear to me, honestly! Thank you for showing the techniques. This is the easiest puff puff video I've watched so far. I like the ice cream scoop technique, I don't like getting my hands dirty like that lol
I tried your puff puff recipe. First time trying it and it came out perfect and delicious. I used watered down condensed milk for added flavor and it came out DELISH!!
Very informative. I make puff puff often and use the 3rd method. I'm gonna try using the ice cream scoop to make sure all the sizes are the same. Thanks!
Tfs your techniques with this amazing recipe, it reminds of a finger food we have home pholourie, its savoury and enjoyed with a variety of sauces. What do you'll eat your puff puff with.
Weh, I'm Cameroonian. With a mom who can truly cook. This recipe saved me from digrace because my uncles were waiting for me to cook
😂😂😂I totally understand 🤣🤣🤣
I tried this yesterday! I added a bit more nutmeg and cinnamon, and it came out perfectly. Thank you for sharing!
