    Onuawaaaaaaaaaaaa! PERFECT! They came out so well! Did anyone else hear that amazing crunch toward the end when onuawaa took a bite of these perfectly fried doughnuts?! “You may be the best but someone may be better than you!” That’s next level wisdom and so true wae!     Oh my goodness! This was really worth the wait.
    Had to wait a whole month as I couldn't find any yeast in the whole of Milton Keynes! The kids were on it as I was frying! Had less than half when I finished. Light and fluffy, and did not soak up the oil. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Never gonna buy bofrot ever again!

      Hello, Mostly use Sam’s Club brand but any brand should work too. It is all purpose

      It can be any type please. The time it takes to rise may however vary (which does even with fast or rapid rise)

    I followed all the instructions to the T but my dough didn’t “double” in size when I left it covered in the oven for an hour. And I used the same brand of yeast used in your video ☹️...am I doing something wrong?

    Hi sis, I came from watching the bofrot recipe with milk to this one without. Could you kindly tell me if there's a difference in taste, consistency or how long it stays fluffy for between the two recipes please??

      Sis, to be honest, they taste the same so I’ve long since not been adding milk. However there’s a slight difference in the measurements so whichever one you make follow the ingredients listed for that....how about you try both on separate days and decide which is your favorite?😉
