I like their universal case. Three convoluted (Egg crate) foam pads. You can take one out if you have a thick gun. Or a scope with big turrets. Works with all of my rifles. Having to have a case for every rifle is crazy.
Except for the foam, it definitely looks like the Apache at harbor freight. I got the pluck and pull foam and just flipped it over and use it that way so it doesn't keep pulling on the foam .
@@PilotPatriot There's a really good chance that the two similar products with the same dimensions and the same description came from the same Chinese source... just maybe. Pick the company you'd rather do business with and go for it.
Damn... I really need a case for my new RPR in .338Lapua that's still in the box, unfired, while I shop for a good case. I could get a Pelican, but then I would have to cut the foam myself (I am lazy), or I could buy the foam insert FOR said Pelican, but that foam cost as much as the case featured here! I read up on most of the "reviwes" on AMAZON, and they are quite... interesting... especially when it comes to the big-bore RPR's. The comments are causing me to be apprehensive.Yep. I real noodle-scratcher indeed. I don't know. I am torn. 😟🥺
I understand what you are saying but why does that matter? The foam fully supports everything, no danger of the optic being damaged by being upside down while carrying. And upside down while carrying mean right side up when opening....I don't wanna have to pull it out of the case and flip it over.
The foam “IF” cut properly will support the rifle without the scope taking all the weight of the weapon. The scope and mount if a reputable one will not be damaged carrying it upside down. Unfortunately most people or even companies just trace it and throw it in there leaving no above scope or red dot space. When dealing with a weapon you might put your life on its ability to retain zero why chance it?
Pelican v800 is overpriced for sure my Boyt H51 is way better I was disappointed in the pelican not as rigid as expected the latches don't feel strong as opposed to boyts metal "screws" latch feels way more secure only advantages the pelican has are its slightly larger and a latch on the ends instead of opposite of the hinge only
Nicely done sir. Its always good to see a hometown guy sharing his knowledge.
In October a decent set of pumpkin carving kit would work well

Think GOD for the second amendment and our American freedoms!
Looks nice. Well done. Never heard of them until now
The 53" long case is the same case sold at Harbor Freight (Apache 9800 $199.99) and Amazon (Eylar 53" $199.99) but both have the pluck foam.
The dense NON pluck n pull foam is what makes this one so much better

Watching the video maybe I am wrong but other than the foam liner it pretty much looks like the apache from harbor freight
Have one for my RPR, and I'm very Happy with it.
i like the foam. why is there a gap on the right side? looks like the foam is not the correct size.
Thanks for the review!
How do you still like the case 2 years later? Still using it?
Love it
@@PilotPatriot awesome! Making the purchase now! Anything else i should know prior to hitting purchase!?
Good 👍

Same exact case as Game Winner from Academy
Same shell.....but with WAY better foam!!
Good job
That's EXACTLY the same case that Harbor Freight sells....
@@w4fej the interior foam is very different
9 out of 10. Minus one for that what I can only describe as the "1988 soft metal elevator porn" background music. But a good vid. Thanks.
Thanks! "Elevator Porn" is such a niche genre I was worried no one would pick up on that! But you did!! Lol 😂
Nice case and video, but your carrying it upside down. You want optics up or towards the handle.

NANUK!!! you're welcome!
Nanuk is the best quality (on the level of Pelican) but MUCH cheaper!!

😁👍
Hmmmmmm, looks just like an Eyler case.
