That was a nice house at one time. They took the time to put the rock foundation under it and the bay window tells us that it was not just a box to live in. It had character. The car is a Pontiac. Probably 1958, 1959 or 1960. Being that it is a four-door hartdtop it was more desirable and it is a flattop. Neat car in it's time.
It was great trip down memory lane and the times…Really appreciate this one. Some great finds around it as well. Thanks for coming along, happy to share.👍👍👋
That sad old house at 2:30 is so dilapidated. Im guessing if someone had tried to rescue it, they were about 50 years too late. Thanks for yet another adventure
Those cars make me believe there were crimes committed in them and they got dumped up there. A serial killers dumping grounds. He may have hid out there and came back to dump his ride? Get rid of the random "greasy" clothes too? Judging by the cars, it happened in the 70's or so.
That does feel like someone could be watching you....Seams like a Breaking Bad camp. Thanks for sharing. I watched this when you first posted and commented but it didn't come out or I didn't press the comment button. Stay safe both of you.
Nice to hear from you Charles, was wondering usually always hear from you quick! Hope Thanks! Yeah there’s something questionable about this area you can tell with everything someone has some really strange thought process and the old clothes and blood stained looking colors really make sense. was not expecting to find something like this. See you on the next one buddy and will do👋👋
It definitely felt like that finding all this, can feel something there for sure happened but what? That’s still a mystery, I can not find a single shred of information on this area… The cars were so cool! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and see ya on the dusty trail! 👍👋
It was creepy! I’m glad it can be a shared vibe via video as well! Didn’t know at the time if it captured the experience/energy associated with the site. Happy to share, thank you.
While I've explored some strange and unsettling areas growing up in Oregon, from what I've experienced since moving out here in MT about 9 years ago is there's plenty of great places to explore. Sometimes you hit the unusual spots and it's like the creep-factor is taken to another level in this state, lol! I just wish I could properly "thread the needle" of a public trail to get into the Crazies sometime.
Well nice to hear from a fellow Montanan! Thank’s for dropping in👋 There’s amazing stories and beauty in our state, I agree. The crazies definitely have some interesting events and historical significance. Beautiful to look at as well… The creep factor is definitely there on some of these site in the middle of nowhere, makes you wonder and contemplate what the heck was going on here! As if someone disappeared or worse… Fascinating and intriguing on a whole different level.
@MountainWestProductions Absolutely! Such an amazing and unique state we live in. To be able to step out in my yard, dig a random hole and find history just a few inches down is something I just can't take for granted. Your channel seems to be gaining traction with subscribers and that's just the cherry on top, I bet. Great production and while I try not to compare one versus the other as the uniqueness of these channels is what matters, there's a lot of great comparisons between yours and Dustin's (Destination Adventure). I've yet to head up to the dead-end beyond Natural Bridge Falls, but that may be another mining encampment to check out.
@b.thompson9176 Hey thank you for the great big smile you gave me buddy, really kind words..Nice to hear now and then. It’s a passion and while the channel grows and I serve other’s curiosities I think I find the most satisfaction. It’s one thing if I just wanted a great channel and to improve but when I’m not working or tending to life history and stories live in my mind.. I’m happy to have you as a channel member on the trail. Sounds like you have the same bug living with you as well haha.. I will take not of your mention thank you, hope today finds you well. Excited to hear from you on the next adventure! Thanks Thompson 👋❤️
Thank you kindly Brandy, great to hear this. As much of a passion history and exploring is for me it’s also important that the same people who support the channel and enjoy it as much as myself have a good experience. Always room for improvement and refinement. Will be working on the next best soon! Thank you.
@@MountainWestProductions constructive criticism, when delivered sincerely, is an attempt to help encourage growth. I too heard the red tailed (I'm guessing) hawk challenging you. Thanks for sharing that moment.
@brandyjean7015 Well you’re good at it! The community is just as important as the history we are appreciating here on this channel! Thank you, again. Yes, I am assuming as well red tail or rough leg. Always something interacting with the woods and creatures I come across. Happy to share the adventure and history. Anytime👍
it looks to me that theres a mish mash of various age stuff back in there. I agree with you 2.. the house mighta been a brothel.. or an outfitter's place what with all the hunting that went on. the cabin.. the outfitter? did you pick up what looks like a notebook on the ground outside the big trailers doorway? I'd like to walk the stream for old bottles and whatever else might be there. =) lastly, did you go beyond the gate behind the "junkyard"? probably not a good idea to pass thru gates.. :( :) thanks a bunch again!! I'm on my way to spend the rest of the afternoon with my oldest son. take care- Blessings to you both!!
Unbelievably strange site part of it seems like a mining area but whats with all the cars in the middle of nowhere who knows what happened there would nice to investigate though most of the cars looked very old makes it even more interesting and worth investigating what location is this?? Would be nice to know..
@@Pagepiper1 I literally can’t find anything, short of going to a local library.. I’m certain there is shame nobody got a chance to share with anyone. Still sits in the back of my head. 👋👍👍
Well. Someone was there until mid 50s with the ol chev sitting there. The steel molding on them cars were art themselves. Had to edit, that Gremlin and RV are mid 70s.
I have heard about that, every time I’m out and about I think why did I not pack a mask…unfortunately I have to get one on these explores. Be a shame to get that heard it’s actually pretty dangerous just reading on it. Thank you Bill, hope you enjoyed 👋
Nice, Thank you. I thought they were something was t entirely sure what though..I’m kinda confused thinking those were there when the home owner lived at the place looks semi mature doesn’t it?
Interesting take, I’ve tried researching the area for a while now. This site offers limited insight but plenty of evidence of something not going as planned. Thank you and appreciate your insight. Hope your off to a nice evening👍👋

The exterior door on the second floor is the snow door for when the house is buried in snow

Same feeling I had, weird isn’t. Cannot find a shred of info or name.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, hope today is treating you well 👍👋
1940's early 1960's
The white car was stripped for parts; the intake manifold is removed.
Car is a 1959 Pontiac. Someone should do a will it run video on that.
59 Pontiac Star Chief...
Just found you guys, awesome music. Can’t wait to see the video 🙏

@@MountainWestProductions Happy to oblige! Yes, keep it a passion and let it play out organically - that's the only way to enjoy it.

Creepy!!!!
Masks needed - Hantavirus abounds in abandoned structures out there! More desolate than strange. Vandals have struck the vehicles.

Yes go in the House
That looks like a sad place
There was a strange energy there. Angry and kind of a sense of defeat, it was odd..
Another great adventure!
P.S. That hill was steeper than it looks! 😂🩷
Was a great one, excited for the next. should be interesting..!
Whoever it was had a preferance for amc pacers and ford granadas
those are gooseberries. makes great jelly use gloves to pick em

Candles & kerosene lanterns too
Possible personal mining operation. Family run. Maybe. Nice , thanks.

Considering there are NO homes, per se, I am thinking boarding house. NOT brothel.
This was an old town site and hydro mining blew the town away in the early 40’s. I wonder if it’s a remain of it? A last standing house?
❤

Trailer from Kill Bill
haha yes!!
