I see it, that’s interesting. Really is..good eye! It looks as if it’s running at me and you can actually see it originate from the depths of the tunnel not the out side or from me. There’s a good few seconds of some apparition..I’m curious what others think. I’ve never had something like this happen..Awesome!

The tunnel is in great condition, we are most grateful to you for taking us with you on this great explore. We are glad you didn't see any bear prints when you were there! On the exit portal, as with the entrance portal, and the whole tunnel, was formed with wood to cast the concrete. The space you are talking about at 17:00 was knocked out to provide space for the formwork. The concrete lining was done because the rock was not good enough to stand by itself. The lining and portals were the last thing to be done to finish the tunnel.

Pretty cool to stumble upon this video, i was there a couple of months ago passing by and had to stop to get over to this tunnel. We built a crossing out of rocks underneath the road bridge a ways down and went over to it. The graffiti’s all the same and probably some of my shoe prints could be seen there, I guess not too much traffic makes it way through.

Check out The Cramer tunnel if you're ever in NE MN. Abandoned RR through the rock. Similar to this tunnel but shorter and a straight shot. I worked on that RR from 1991-2001.

With all that snow and ice you're lucky that you didn't break your leg!
Wondering off into places like that with no one with you is going to catch up to you!
You don't want to find out what it's like being stranded out there with no possibly to get help.
    May your luck hold out.

Never a stupid question in my opinion, Don’t think like this!!
A spur line is a rail connection made to industrial or commercial industry or infrastructure connected to a main line. Usually leased and operated out of ease and convenience as well as frequently needing actual transport or access to a vast railway system.
(according to Google - spur rail line, also known as a spur track, is a short branch line that connects to a main track at one end and usually ends within an industrial or commercial area) Thanks👋

I love the curiosity of history. Seeing that weird people or beings stroll all the way out in these places just carrying they spray paint cans maybe bought them or stole them still to spray graffiti in these most ugly stupid pics that make absolutely no sense at all but just to mess something up is insane.

That bridge looks like it was repurposed from another location and dragged there. Most likely part of the missing bridge. You can see chain holes cut in the corner so it could be lifted and moved.

Oh my stars that's out of Montana whoa , Now that's crazy The reason I clicked on it I thought it was out of Colorado My grandfather was an engineer on the DNRG out of Durango, and then after Korea my dad became a fireman on the DNRG, And was let go because he had to lose an eye and because he was a fireman instead of making my dad an engineer they let him go it's like what so let's go burnt fingers on that one, but I saw this and I was intrigued and I went Montana over by Butte interesting . Now I know going into Golden that used to be a train that went up into Golden I don't think it's there anymore of course I mean the way they move product and everything else was by train and now of course it's different history is wonderful and how we have modified the way we move products and people❤

The most likely reason they went back that far on the other entrance is because they needed more solid rock to anchor the wall into.

However in all regards I’m not sure I would want to go to the happy hunting grounds any other way..This is my passion and I am happy to take risks and even the possible consequences of such. A part of the lifestyle if you will. Sometimes I think of it but it’s apart of life and I’d rather have the mountains take me away doing what I do than anything else!
Heck could be a two-legged cougar that does me in if I don’t play my cards right..(Rather the 4). Happy to share and bring you along. Truly always say and believe it’s the fine people who share this passion with me and the channel that make this stuff great. I believe that..!
