Brendon stacey The entire intro doesn't even have a chord. A chord doesnt even appear until 1:09, and it isn't even a "djent" powerchord chord.

I think you may be hearing a combination of the snare and the cymbal. He changes up the cymbal he's riding in that section.
The grunt of the guitars in this one is purely amazing!

The outro riff is referenced in stranger things. It’s picked picked differently. I love that this album has the same riffs splashed around in different songs. Just makes the album that much more cohesive and makes the storyline stick together so much better.
Alpha&Omega are concept albums. theyre a story. the riffs are meant to come back
Also before the "Stranger Thing" riff... They play a small part of Scourge/Psychosphere also. Feels so very "in cotext" and cool too! I love how different riffs in Alpha/Omega can be mixed together!
The drum recording is absolutely stellar in this song. Starting at 1:10 I can't believe I've heard a modern recording that isn't completely brickwalled and I can actually place cymbals in a soundstage.

This song, out of everything on the two albums, is what gets stuck in my head the most. I don't know why that is, but I can't complain.
You really had to put the 3 circles image on the song with four in its name. I'm glad I can shoehorn in the logo as a fourth circle so I can manage to pay attention to the music.

This is a great song, but I'm surprised they played it live when I saw them last year. It doesn't stand out to me as one of the ones everyone would know. Like they're always gonna play "Scarlet" and probably "The Bad Thing" and "Make Total Destroy," but I didn't expect this one. They didn't do any of the first album and I wish they had, but that's besides the point I guess.
Six years late, but I believe they play this song live to give Spencer a break. That way he's not singing and screaming for the entire duration of a set and risking losing his voice
