    Finally a chili recipe that doesn’t feed an army!! It’s hard to find recipes that serve smaller families with easy to find ingredients. Most definitely going to make. Thank you.

      Hi Sue! Thanks so much for watching! So glad you enjoyed the chili and I love that you used turkey 😊 It’s still too hot in Texas for chili, but I’m hoping in the next week or two it will cool down 😅 Stay tuned for more content this fall and feel free to send questions or requests - always love to hear from viewers ❤️, Marie

    I grew up staying with a friend over the summer on her farm where they raise buffalo! They only ate bisson. It is the best meat on earth! Her mom made everything from ground, steak, roast, summer sausage and even bacon. Expensive. But fresh is amazing.

    Marie, just found your channel and think this chili looks delicious!!!
    Am curious, though, why you didn't just put the dry seasonings into the IP with the bison and onions and let them "bloom" with the prev ingred and oils? Also, I find a microplane my "go-to" to "minch" garlic; much easier to clean than a garlic press (single-use gadget).
    I'm def going to making this chile; count on it!

      @marieskitchen  3 роки тому

      Hey Raymond! Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy the chili! Your suggestions are so good!!! I do have a microplane and use it often for grating ginger - haven’t done garlic on it but it’s a great idea! One less thing to clean is 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. And yes to spices blooming a bit with the bison and onions! Let me know how it turns out 😊. Thanks again for tuning in and taking time to leave a comment 👍🏻

    @5:50 Commercial chili powder isn't spicy (even for kids), but you probably wanted to stick with the 1/2 tablespoon theme of this video.

    • @marieskitchen
      @marieskitchen  Рік тому

      Yes! You are absolutely correct that standard chili powder is not spicy. I find it can still be a bit overpowering in large amounts, especially for kids or people with more sensitive stomachs (me 😅). Thanks so much for watching and for taking time to leave a note! Love to hear from viewers and I always appreciate the feedback. Thank you, Marie

      @@marieskitchen only issue w instapot vs slow cooker is it’s more in the liquid side vs thick. Would more tomato paste or it sitting warming thicken it up? It tastes great though but my 2nd time for my boyfriend & trying to perfect it. Not too thick but less soupy. Thank you 🙏
