What are your favorite toppings to add to your bowl of chili?
Sour cream (always), cheese (sometimes), fritos (sometimes), onions (sometimes), hot sauce (sometimes), salsa (sometimes), with the salsa it just depends on how tasty the chili is or if I want to get that extra flavor, and I really like to eat it over a busted open baked potato, or over tortilla chips with cheese, also crumbled cornbread mixed in is good, I see that people eat it over spaghetti and I would like to try that sometime. Have a nice day! I 👍👍👍👍
Going to try this today. One small build because I am a PITA for detail. The heat in a chilli pepper comes from the pith not the seeds so leaving the seeds in won't make a difference to the heat. It can transfer through to the seeds but the seeds won't add any more heat.
I’m going to we 3 12 hours before thanksgiving so I’m making a chili and I’m bringing a bunch of bags of Doritos and will scoop they chili in the bags after i break them up
My husband and I agree, this is one of the best chili recipes by far! Thanks posting it. The only change I made was adding 1 cup of broth instead of 1/2 cup because our can of diced tomatoes were just 15 oz..
Totally digging your style! To the point, not a ton of chit chat so I can fit it in while my lil one naps. Nice job!!!
Really good Chili recipe! I made last night in a Ninja Foodi pressure cooker and it came out perfect. Only adjustment I would make is omit the cinnamon or half it. I felt it added character but not necessary to chili.
I just followed this recipe and let me say it came out perfect. I used turkey instead water, not broth) so I can only imagine it is even better with beef. The chilli powder recipe really is all you need (with more salt if that's your thing).
I have tried this recipe about a 1/2 dozen times now and absolutely love it. Since I have the bigger pot, I increase the recipe by 3 and cook for 50 min. This is the best Chili recipe I have ever found......THANK YOU... You did a great job making this video....:)
I just got done making this chili.
This is by far, the best chili I've ever had
I had a happy accident with this recipe! The only things I did differently was add a poblano pepper and I only had busches seasoned kidney beans. I didn’t think it would matter but it came out much too salty. So I threw in a couple cups of macaroni noodles to help lesson the salt and do you know it made the most delicious chili Mac I ever had. Now I do this on purpose every time!
Wow this was awesome and delicious. Thank you.
Thank you just made this and it is the Best Chili! my family loved it!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
you are awesome. will try a variation of this
Made this today, we loved it! ❤ thank you!
Best chili I've ever made, love the recipe. I used dried beans (soaked overnight) half kidney and half pinto and combined ground lamb/beef/sausage, bacon and kicked up the heat with lots of chilies (Cayenne).
I’d like to used soak beans instead of canned also. How much soaked beans did you add to the recipe?
Great recipe and performance on camera. Pleasant to watch and follow. Thank you!
😊thank you soooo much! 😊 many blessings 🫶🏼
Thank You, I'll be making it soon.
Oooh. That homemade chili seasoning. I have all those ingredients! Gonna try
This is amazing! I made mine vegetarian with shredded raw jackfruit and beans 😊 thanks for the awesome chili spice blend!! 🥰
Looks great! I’ll make it this weekend!
How'd it turn out?
That looks delicious and the homemade chili powder!!! I liked the precooked meat! Looks very nice visually!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
sour cream, grated cheese, scallions. I think some fresh onions can be good on top too.
The first time I tried to cook it, it gave me “burn food” warning a few minutes in (granted it was my fault, I forgot to close the valve). I discarded everything, cleaned the pot, and started over. Followed step by step instructions, got a warning again. This time I removed the food, cleaned out the burned food from the bottom, added more water, put the food back, and continued the process. Turned out delicious! I’ll just add more water/broth next time to begin with
Delicious. Thank you. 😁👍✌️
Great work! Thanks
Girl!!!!! Looks like throw down yummy 😋 !
THANK YOU
Gonna make this tomorrow. What oz can of kidney beans should I add?
A 15 oz can! Can't wait to hear what you think :)
Hi 🥰
Can u plz come up with a recipe for apple muffin made with almond flour..
Thx…
Why did you choose Pressure Cook insted of the Bean/Chili button?
How long do we cook this for in our instapot on slow cook button? I’m pretty sure I don’t have the same one lol
What size can red kidney beans?
I keep getting a burn error. Does anyone have any tips? I’m not sure why it’s happening I’m following the instructions to the T.
What do you do if you get a burn error?
I think you need more moisture like Beef broth / water / tomato sauce. You can always boil it off later if the Chili is too 'watery.
I am a non cook who wants to learn (sorry for such a basic question),How many people is this for?
I clicked on the Recipe link and entered my email address...there is no recipe listed there. 😞
Apologies for that! The link should be updated now. You can also find it here: evolvingtable.com/instant-pot-chili/ :)
Chill
Dad gum is the same as saying God Damn. lol.
U dun good Gal
O yeah that's definitely football food go WVU
Tried it and it still burned
Need to add more water than you’re comfortable with. Had the same problem multiple times and then just added more water than I usually do and no burn
Needs more salt
... chile cook off ...!
God. The end of her words is unreal lol 20 something valley girl. Ugh
🇺🇲😋👍👍💯🇺🇲
I'm not sure if you've ever cooked anything by watching a recipe on UA-cam, but people don't typically watch the entire thing then start cooking. So in this video when you are preparing the herbs and spices some of us literally are putting that into the InstantPot! The "save the rest for later" is a total curve ball.
Well, you have to watch the entire thing to get the ingredients, so if you started going in this video making it blind, that's on you.
chili looks good but not as good as you
Instant pot always burns it, even at low pressure. Slow cook is the only way to do this right in the instant pot!
There's no kidney beans in chilli! Well that recipe is wrong! Far from traditional. You must be brother lol cheap filler that is NOT healthy at all
She is not making traditional chili, so you're yelling at a screen for no reason
Yelling? 8m confused this isn't real its the internet. Why would I screem. I'm not talking I'm typing. #idiocracy
@stevensoucy6503 This isn't reality. You must be brother. Let's pretend that writing is toneless
