LOOK NO FURTHER FOR THE BEST CHILI!!! This is seriously the most incredible chili I’ve tasted in my life. I was born and raised in New Orleans so I have high expectations for all “comfort” foods. I knew this recipe would be delicious when I saw the coco powder since that is a big secret ingredient. But also being Vietnamese, I was interested to see the fish sauce being used. I tried this last year and I’ve consistently kept it in my rotation of dishes. Every single person that’s tasted it has raved about it. My children love it too!!! Only difference I make is adding a can of diced tomato instead of tomato sauce. I follow everything else exactly. Thank you for this beautiful recipe. I hope everyone who sees this tries it!! ❤

The soothing music made me feel like I was flying on the wings of a bird over a beautiful rainbow, so that my soul could be at peace with the world. There was introspection, love, understanding, and a twinkle of fun in the way that things were presented. I felt like I was growing throughout the process and learning on a deep level. I'm now prepared to face any challenges that face me.

This is my new favorite kitchen tool! Day 1 I was going to pressure cook a meat ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and potato stew, decided I wouldn't eat it that night so I went with a slow cook so I could go to bed and put it away in the morning. I love that versatility! The sauté feature works great and adds tons of extra flavor to dishes, and I can easily sizzle meats in the bottom then deglaze for some restaurant worthy flavors.Big bonus - you can cook a whole frozen chicken in about 2 hours. Amazing! I've seen a couple videos, haven't tried it yet, but I will soon!

I made this recipe and doubled it for a big group and it was a HIT! I did season my beef with Montreal Steak Seasoning instead of just salt & pepper and it tasted great.

Were you using a 6 quart or 8 quart Instant Pot when you doubled the recipe? I'm wondering if I can safely double this recipe in my 6 quart Instant Pot Ultra.

Made this last night. Delicious! I especially appreciate the notes that explain why to do a step (i.e., drain meat after 5 min. so that is can brown and not boil). This one has made my winter dinner rotation meal list- it's that good.

Absolutely delicious. Im not a great cook but boy this recipe is just amazing. I would never think of added fish sauce to a chilli. The flavour is amazing. My 8 and 6 year old boys always keep going in for more bowls of it by itself throughout the day when I make it. This recipe is well worth commenting on .

It's really good. I added some of my own stuff for more heat. I heard you can lock in the flavor by refrigerating it overnight so I tasted it after I let it cool down and took note of the temp with a temp gun before sticking it in the fridge. I heat the chili to the same temp the next day and was in flavor town. Everyone at the company memorial day potluck loved it.

Thanks for the recipe! I followed everything to the letter other than using avacado oil instead of olive, and I couldn't get the brand of fish sauce you recommended so I want with ka-me brand. It turned out delicious 😋👌

Seems to me the beef is being cooked way too long. I personally add the onion/garlic etc first for 2-3 mins, then add the beef (plus all other spices being used) for 4-6 mins then pressure cook everything for 7-8mins (beans would have already been fully cooked when added ofc) and carry on as you did. Loved the brevity of the vid. Thanks!

I am a seasoned cook but new to Instant Pot. I made this Chili last night and it was so easy and so delicious and quick. I love your recipes because they are tested and have talked to many other IP users who have also said your recipes work and are delicious. Delicious recipes that work.... doesn't get any better than that when you start out with Instant Pot. Love my Instant Pot, have since put my stovetop pressure cooker and my slow cooker away.

Has anyone tested out the chili using the "Beyond Meat" or "Beyond Beef". It is already very soft and tender, so I'm wondering if it should be added in after the natural release???

This is my go to chili recipe in the Fall. Instead of hamburger, this time I browned a pound of cut up chuck roast and a pound of hot Italian sausage with the casings removed. I only use a tablespoon of the fish sauce. Any more than that and I notice I can smell it in the finished product. Next time I think I'll go easy on the brown sugar too. My tomato paste was already pretty sweet. Great, fast, chili recipe though.
