LOOK NO FURTHER FOR THE BEST CHILI!!! This is seriously the most incredible chili I’ve tasted in my life. I was born and raised in New Orleans so I have high expectations for all “comfort” foods. I knew this recipe would be delicious when I saw the coco powder since that is a big secret ingredient. But also being Vietnamese, I was interested to see the fish sauce being used. I tried this last year and I’ve consistently kept it in my rotation of dishes. Every single person that’s tasted it has raved about it. My children love it too!!! Only difference I make is adding a can of diced tomato instead of tomato sauce. I follow everything else exactly. Thank you for this beautiful recipe. I hope everyone who sees this tries it!! ❤
The soothing music made me feel like I was flying on the wings of a bird over a beautiful rainbow, so that my soul could be at peace with the world. There was introspection, love, understanding, and a twinkle of fun in the way that things were presented. I felt like I was growing throughout the process and learning on a deep level. I'm now prepared to face any challenges that face me.
This is my new favorite kitchen tool! Day 1 I was going to pressure cook a meat ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and potato stew, decided I wouldn't eat it that night so I went with a slow cook so I could go to bed and put it away in the morning. I love that versatility! The sauté feature works great and adds tons of extra flavor to dishes, and I can easily sizzle meats in the bottom then deglaze for some restaurant worthy flavors.Big bonus - you can cook a whole frozen chicken in about 2 hours. Amazing! I've seen a couple videos, haven't tried it yet, but I will soon!
I made this recipe and doubled it for a big group and it was a HIT! I did season my beef with Montreal Steak Seasoning instead of just salt & pepper and it tasted great.
Were you using a 6 quart or 8 quart Instant Pot when you doubled the recipe? I'm wondering if I can safely double this recipe in my 6 quart Instant Pot Ultra.
Made this last night. Delicious! I especially appreciate the notes that explain why to do a step (i.e., drain meat after 5 min. so that is can brown and not boil). This one has made my winter dinner rotation meal list- it's that good.
Absolutely delicious. Im not a great cook but boy this recipe is just amazing. I would never think of added fish sauce to a chilli. The flavour is amazing. My 8 and 6 year old boys always keep going in for more bowls of it by itself throughout the day when I make it. This recipe is well worth commenting on .
It's really good. I added some of my own stuff for more heat. I heard you can lock in the flavor by refrigerating it overnight so I tasted it after I let it cool down and took note of the temp with a temp gun before sticking it in the fridge. I heat the chili to the same temp the next day and was in flavor town. Everyone at the company memorial day potluck loved it.
Thanks for the recipe! I followed everything to the letter other than using avacado oil instead of olive, and I couldn't get the brand of fish sauce you recommended so I want with ka-me brand. It turned out delicious 😋👌
Seems to me the beef is being cooked way too long. I personally add the onion/garlic etc first for 2-3 mins, then add the beef (plus all other spices being used) for 4-6 mins then pressure cook everything for 7-8mins (beans would have already been fully cooked when added ofc) and carry on as you did. Loved the brevity of the vid. Thanks!
I just made this recipe (also doubled it) and the chili was amazing! So many flavors! Who knew to add coca powder and fish sauce?!? Thank you again for another amazing recipe!

Made this tonight for dinner, it’s the best chilli I’ve ever had. I was a tad skeptical about some of the ingredients at first but thought I’d give it a go, I wasn’t disappointed.
I am a seasoned cook but new to Instant Pot. I made this Chili last night and it was so easy and so delicious and quick. I love your recipes because they are tested and have talked to many other IP users who have also said your recipes work and are delicious. Delicious recipes that work.... doesn't get any better than that when you start out with Instant Pot. Love my Instant Pot, have since put my stovetop pressure cooker and my slow cooker away.
I would love to try this recipe but dont have enough recipes where I’d see myself getting an instant pot. Do you know how I could give this a shot on the stovetop, more specifically the length of cook time?
The one thing I am curios about in this recipe (as well as other similar ones) is why aren't you using the Bean/Chili button instead of the high pressure setting?
Has anyone tested out the chili using the "Beyond Meat" or "Beyond Beef". It is already very soft and tender, so I'm wondering if it should be added in after the natural release???
This is my go to chili recipe in the Fall. Instead of hamburger, this time I browned a pound of cut up chuck roast and a pound of hot Italian sausage with the casings removed. I only use a tablespoon of the fish sauce. Any more than that and I notice I can smell it in the finished product. Next time I think I'll go easy on the brown sugar too. My tomato paste was already pretty sweet. Great, fast, chili recipe though.
Hi Simon Jenkins, store bought chicken stock usually taste better than store bought version of beef stock. Feel free to use beef stock if it is homemade. Have a great day 😄!
I always use a mixture of beans. Dark kidney, light kidney, black beans, navy beans, pinto beans, and/or cannelloni beans. Make it however you want and make it yours! Cheers!
By printing the ingredients on top of the video, do you expect us to remember them? Why not put a list of ingredients and directions in the description so they can be printed and used for shopping and cooking?
You're too lazy to click on the link? This person was so kind enough to make a video as well as write the direction on her blog (which takes so much time to do) yet you're too lazy to just click on the link? Just be greatful! This was the best chili I've ever tried! If you don't want to go to her website to get the recipe it's your loss. Have a great day!

The best chili I've ever made. Thank you!
A fantastic recipe. Delicious, sumptuous, very repeatable! Thank YOU, ladies.

Just made this this afternoon, and it was fantastic! It took longer to source the ingredients here in Mexico than it did to cook.

This recipe is so simple and comes out so well. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

If you double the recipe do you have to double the cooking time?
Hi IN, you don't have to double the cooking time. Take care!
Amy & Jacky thanks

Are the beans cooked separately before mixing it in?
B U R N N O T I C E ! ! !
I would love to try this recipe but dont have enough recipes where I’d see myself getting an instant pot. Do you know how I could give this a shot on the stovetop, more specifically the length of cook time?

What are the benefits of not mix-in the crushed Tomatoes ?
Has anyone tested out the chili using the "Beyond Meat" or "Beyond Beef". It is already very soft and tender, so I'm wondering if it should be added in after the natural release???
Beautiful!
thank you Lisa !
Try using some salsa instead of some of the tomatoes for some food spicy taste
Looks delicious did you drain the beans or use the liquid in the can
dont use the liquid in the can of beans it is uggy
@@carroll6uggy? And in plain English please?

OMG, your website nearly broke my phone. The ads on your site made it literally impossible to navigate. This recipe is great, but damn.
Is the reason to leave tomato sauce on top and not mix is to prevent burning?
Hi AdamCarter, sorry for the late reply. Yes it is :)
Now that looks like chili
The music was a 10/10
Add a bit of half and half.....cream or yogurt
what size instant pot did you use? (ie. 3 quart, 6 quart or 8 quart)
thats a 6q
Yeah right not one drop on the lid from the steam released.
Wow
Why do you add chicken stock to beef? I have always matched meat to stock?
Hi Simon Jenkins, store bought chicken stock usually taste better than store bought version of beef stock. Feel free to use beef stock if it is homemade. Have a great day 😄!
Amy & Jacky Thank you
can you use blacks beans?
I always use a mixture of beans. Dark kidney, light kidney, black beans, navy beans, pinto beans, and/or cannelloni beans. Make it however you want and make it yours! Cheers!
No bell peppers?
trust
I'm cookign it now and indeed, added green pepper, and 1/2 jalapeno too!
I am allergic to all fish and seafood is there something I can substitute for the fish sauce thank you
Hi Dolores, light soy sauce will work as a substitution :)
Amy & Jacky Thank you for that good idea. I am anxious to try so many of your recipes they look delicious
I keep getting the burn notice even with 2 cups beef broth😭
I need to feed 8 people. Do I double the recipe?
It looks really good!! I also did a simular video and I would love if u checked it out !!
New subbie
Hate Chicken in Beef Chili!
Unfortunately I need more than a split second to read a screen of text.
if only you could pause the video whenever you want, damn you live television!
That's bean soup, not chili
Shut the fuck up
By printing the ingredients on top of the video, do you expect us to remember them? Why not put a list of ingredients and directions in the description so they can be printed and used for shopping and cooking?
Hi C D Hanks you can find the full recipe here: www.pressurecookrecipes.com/instant-pot-chili/
Have a great weekend :)
If you can put the recipe on a web site, why not copy and paste it as part of the video so we don't have to go elsewhere?

Talk about ungrateful
Boy, things can take a bad turn in the comments section cant they? Anyway, this recipe looks simple and delicious. Nice video demo. Thanks.
Couldn't watch it because of the music
`
If only there was a volume control on the video player.
Stupidest shit I’ve ever heard
Lol
