Hi and thanks for yet another review! i can't decide between this Able Carry Max and Heimplanet Transit 28L. which do you prefer & recommend? Please kindly let me know and thanks again!
They are both great options. I’d say it depends mainly on the aesthetics and which you prefer better. The Max is a bit more comfortable and I prefer the layout more. So I’d recommend the Max, but again they are both awesome options.
It's such a beautiful bag but if I'm honest, I'm so confused by the material type. Is the VX21 stronger than the X50, what's the difference exactly? Regardless, great video!! 👌
Oh my there are so many intricacies and details to X-Pac material. The short version here is that X50 is thicker, more durable, and less "slick" than the VX21. Personally I prefer VX21 as it is lighter and still plenty durable. But everyone has their opinion on this.
Just got this awesome bag, thanks for the detailed and useful video. Quick question: will this fit underneath the front passenger seat on domestic U.S. airlines?
@@CityTrekker I am about to go on United Air in a couple of days and here's a trick that I will share: Before leaving for your trip, remove the frame sheet pad that's inside the back of the Able Carry Max - that way the top will be able to bend about an inch or two in order to "fit" into the size bin at the terminal and underneath the seat in front of you. I've found that it's still able to maintain the shape even without it and will only use it when I need the extra support. Bonus tip: I bought AER's hip belt in black to match my ABM and it attaches nicely.
@@aldotamez3140 it was very fast shipping- I ordered it first week of April 2021 and received it about two weeks. Your time may vary depending on your location. Best to inquire to Able Carry directly to be sure of shipment dates.
The quality is really good. Some of the best manufacturing plants in the world are in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, etc. Much better quality that other countries.
How would this compare to the A19 Pathfinder? I just bought a pathfinder and i feel it is heavy and the shoulder straps feel stiff and uncomfortable. Hoping they break in. Any thoughts on this would be awesome. Something like the pathfinder but lighter and comfier.
This bag is amazing ! I may have to get this for my edc, and carry on = ) It looks like it can stand up on its own.. is that correct ? Great review ! I sub'd just off this vid !
The closest thing to the perfect bag that I know. Everytime I see it I salivate.. the only way for improvement I see is the a more solid base to stand on its own and reduction in weight. But still. ... It's a beauty. Maybe one da...
And what about clothing, you filled it up with things that some people don’t use, mostly I’m stowing change clothes , shoes, underwear and so on, if you’re going to travel, not all this crap.
Not going to lie. Tempted to buy one after watching this video :P
Do it!
Great review - the best I've seen on this bag. Answered all the questions I had. I found your "wearing the bag" section particularly helpful.
Good! Thanks for the feedback!
Liked for the great content. Subscribed for the 10/10 pouch game
Ha. Thanks man.
Please tell me where to get that candle in the bottom left corner, it looks awesome :D
It’s from Peter McKinnon’s Pete’s Pirate Life collection. Unboxing of lots of Pete’s Pirate Life is forthcoming...

@@CityTrekker many thanks for your response!
Great camera work. Awesome review. Thanks!!!
Thank you!
Had no idea Trakke made anything in Dyneema. When did you snag those? Assuming those were limited edition...
Yes they were limited edition and sold out fast. They are pretty awesome...
Solid accessories lineup 😍
Ha. Thanks!

Aer waist strap (available as a separate purchase) will fit Able Carry Max. $29 purchase.
Cool. Thanks for the tip!
Great video!
Thanks!
Excelent review!
Thank you!
Thanks for the video!
You're welcome!
this would have been my perfect travel pack if the water bottle is top loading to accommodate my Peak Design Tripod :(
Great review!
Thank you!
can't decide between that and the green
BLACK...
hmm, i think you can get the NiteIze magnetic clips and those internal lashpoints would be perfect for holding an EDC pouch high up!
Good call!

You're very welcome! I haven't taken it on a flight, so I'm not sure. I would lean toward saying yes.

Hey, how is the quality for that made in china thing?
I don’t know I barely trust them in quality longevity of pruducts

Yeah it's a great pack. It will stand up on its own. I love it so much I hope they make a 20-25L and 45L version!
would you choose this or black ember forge ? for all purposes.
Definitely the Able Carry Max. I like it a LOT better than the Forge.
@@CityTrekker thanks brother.
Bottle of wine pocket? Fucking sold.
Haha
Nice. I want one
Do it!
Is the main compartment in this backpack bigger than Bellroy's Transit backpack main compartment?
I assume you are referring to the Bellroy Transit 28. Yes they are similar. The MAX’s main compartment is 25L, 22L if the side pockets are full.
Able carry max vs bellroy transit backpack 🤔

It’s pretty awesome. One of my favorite 30L bags for sure.
Hello. What kind of frame inside this backpack?
Good question! I don’t know. I searched the website and Kickstarter page and couldn’t find the answer.
Looks the bizz
It is.
6'3 180lbs? Skinny.
Yep. Since I was 18.
How much ?
Retails at $260 as mentioned near the top of the description.
@@CityTrekker I saw the WHOLE video and didn’t SEE it !!!!!!!!!! That’s why I ask !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For clothing, just exchange some of those tech pouches for clothing cubes. It is a solid 30L, so I'd say a great option for short travel.
