That blowing out the egg part was hilarious Jack, and those recipes look like they taste great. Never had eggplant but now I have a recipe I can use if I want to try them. Thanks
@jakatak69 Hi Jack! Before you use the eggplant you should salt it and wait till the water comes from it (it takes about 20 minutes). Then dry it with paper towel. If you do this it will be no more bitter! :)
for snacks I eat flip crackers which are pretzels on one side and cracker on the other. Just a few. Also, I eat Fiber One bars if I can's stop to each a meal.
Hey, Jack , i have a question for you. What spices should i have in my cabinet at all times? Or what would you consider the universal spices for a beginner cook? Thanks Jack , and love the show!
Paprika, cumin, turmeric, oregano and a herb mix of your choice. I like herbes de provence which you can easily get in shops where I live and is suitable for general western and especially Mediterranean cooking. I'd also say you should have a savoury liquid seasoning like soy or worcestershire sauce and beef stock cubes since they will help most sauces you'll make.
be sure to watch my how to cook a turkey and how to make stuffing videos. I promise you will be a star after thanksgiving. then watch the thanksgiving episode after Nov. 1st. I make twice baked sweet potatoes and pastry puffs filled with pumpkin moose.
@kaushikpaddy seafood is NOT vegetarian. although alot of people claim veg and do eat chicken or seafood, which is stupid. i'm a vegetarian and i don't eat any animal flesh of any type.
Spices? Cumin, Paprika, Cayenne pepper(dried), Chilli powder are a good combination. But the main two are definately Cumin and paprika. Don't forget things like garlic, or herbs though!
Hey, thank you, and i love the show, its great getting tips and things like that from you and your son on the cupcake episode. One other question is , will you make a thanksgiving feast meal episode or something such as that because i will be having friends family and my boss over on thanksgiving :@ and i want to see if i can switch out what I usually cook and make something that can be more interesting and "delectable". Thanks Jack , and hope those episodes keep coming.
hey jak ive been watchng your videos for awhile now and i just have to tell you great job i love your honesty and happy spirit please keep it up i love your videos and i think your one of the best cooks on youtube thank you
with ground turkey you have to add lots of flavor. Beef has fat marbling so there is tons of flavor. Turkey is bland. Try seasonings like pepper, crushed red pepper, and even diced green chilies for heat. Also, go the sweet angle with brown sugar or cinnamon. Or even add A1 or Worcestershire sauce for more of a steak flavor. Decide what direction you want it to go then mix it into the ground turkey and enjoy.
im not even a vegetarian and i make these, i love the taste of the eggplant except instead of using fried red peppers i use sweet onions will you please do a shoutout for me on your next episode?
When you do the basil and cheese, maybe for speed you can try push them all together and putting on the cheese and basil so that is has a large surface to land on then seperating them once again. Also if you desire a crispier product, you could double a double coat, egg then seasoned flour then egg again then bread crumbs. Deviled eggs look delious, tho i dont put relish into mine, I use a tablespoon or horse radish instead. Good job jack!
A lot of vegetarians (especially from India), don't eat eggs as well. There are different levels of vegetarians. Lacto-vegetarians don't eat eggs, but consume dairy products, while ova-vegetarians eat eggs and dairy products. There are a few others, but those are the ones I remember
I think it would be cool if you made a video substituting ground beef with ground turkey. I can't eat beef anymore and I'm tired of turkey burgers. Although I love the turkey products such as the hotdogs, bacon, and sausage. The ground turkey seems bland and I have no idea what to do with it. Great videos! :D xo
Hey Jack- would this work with Parmesan cheese mixed into the breadcrumbs? or would it not bake as well? Btw I gotta agree, all the cool kids in ohio DO have one of those silly devilled egg pans or trays.
Awesome ^_^ I love deviled eggs. They may be easy, but they take time to make. I'm more interested in those eggplant snacks. I think I will have to try making those some time soon. Also, on the note of Bruschetta, I had it for the first time at an italian place in Pismo called Gesepi's (sp?). Anyway, I'm addicted, so you can count on me using your recipe for that too ^_^
Oh I know. I live in America, but was just explaining the various degrees of vegetarianism. As a vegetarian, I don't eat eggs just because that's the way I've been brought up. Eggs have always been in that iffy group where it was in the "meat" group, yet dairy so it's a confusing little thing.
nice one jack good video allready tried the eggs and yet to try the 1st one looks good though, any chance u cud give me a shout out im from england thanks
If you are going to chicago Jack, you definantly need to check out some of the Pizza shops there and get you some real authentic Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. Uno's is really good and there are many other too. Also the Beef "sangwich" is delicious! Enjoy your trip!
17th comment. Where's my prize :P "They are always the first to go." Isn't that the truth? Deviled eggs are like an ADDICTION to me. And yours looked so easy to make!
They look fine and not messy like some people make them. So I don't think he needs to pipe them in unless you wanna be fancy and this is not cooking fancywith jack, it's cookingwithjack. Do what u want to your own eggs. lol
Vegetarian= You don't eat the animal Vegan = You don't eat the animal and anything it produces (eggs, milk and so on) pescetarians = Seafood eating vegetarians :)
Eggplant Parmesan Bites with no parmesan?
Lasagna with penne, enchiladas with whipping cream, you should know by now Jack can't read recipes.
That blowing out the egg part was hilarious Jack, and those recipes look like they taste great. Never had eggplant but now I have a recipe I can use if I want to try them. Thanks

put whatever flavors you like. The paprika is mostly for color than taste unless you go with a smoked paprika

When you do the basil and cheese, maybe for speed you can try push them all together and putting on the cheese and basil so that is has a large surface to land on then seperating them once again.
