when jack tells you to bake chicken for 30 minutes, you already know that you have to bake it for at least 2 hours, else it will run back to the store where it came from, cuz its still kickin.
If it was actually a lazy recipe I would have just seasoned the mayo directly in the measuring cup if I were you so I wouldn't have to do more dishes lol
Jack, I have a similar recipe. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. You take frozen chicken breast place them in a 9x13 pan. Pour a bottle of ranch dressing over top. Place in oven and cook for about 60 minutes. Chicken could be done earlier. When done the chicken is really juicy and tender. Tastes awesome.
I mix equal amounts mayo and Dijon mustard with a few dashes of hot sauce, coat the chicken on both sides and cover with Italian bread crumbs. It's really delicious!
Did you ever think about getting a digital instant food thermometer? Its nice to check the core temprature of meat when you're not shure about it For chicken about 75 degress celsius (i'm too lazy to think in fahrenheit right now) is perfect. It has to have that core temperature for at least 4 minutes. Everything below 70 for chicken is not considered 100% safe to eat.
i started watching your videos a while ago. watched brushetta first and subbed straight away!!! i love to try out the food you show!!! doesnt always go well though haha can't wait to see what you come up with for 100th episode!! :)
When I make it, it cooks much faster because I get a brand of frozen chicken called "Purdue". Their breasts are thinner and not very big. Also, I break them apart and lay them in the pan side by side, so they cook a lot quicker. Other things that effect cooking time include how well your oven works (mine's insanely hot, hahaha), and whether you're using a glass cooking dish or foil. The glass dish seems to make my chicken cook within about 30 minutes, whereas a foil dish takes longer. -Jennie D.
Yeah, I have to say that this is a 'must try' recipe. Since you said that your frozen chicken was over-lapped and it took longer than you thought, just laying the chicken breasts in a single layer in freezer bags would be a great start to an easy meal. You could even make the layer the same dimensions as the pan used. Bravo!
I tried this because it sounded delicious, and I didn't like it very much. But I didn't come back to hate on it, I was just gonna say that I didn't mix the mayo in a bowl. I just sprinkled the seasonings on the chicken and spooned some mayo on top. I didn't want that much mayo anyway and I'm lazy. But it mixed very well and I saved a step.
@NoobPwner2448 the files get so big to deal with. It takes twice as long to process on my end. i love the look of 720. I will stick with that for now. I may check out 1080 in the near future.
If you take that seasoned mayo, spread it on bread (like you were making a sandwich, but covering the while side of the bread), then fry it mayo-side down, it makes a pretty good toast (flip it to get the back after the mayo's fried a bit, and left some oil on the pan). The eggs in the mayo make it cook up pretty well.
I love your channel and think your awesome thx for sharing great recipes. But I was wondering is there anything else I can use besides mayo? Cause I don't like mayo. Appreciate any suggestions u can give me thank you.
@odoyle77 instead of croutons use breadcrumbs or crushed ritz crackers. yes. flat baking dish is fine as long as it has a small lip on the edge to keep juice in. yes. miracle Yuk would work find.
Looks great !!! However, I would probably use butterflied or chicken strips and coat both sides, oh yeah. I do like the fact it can be done from a frozen state as well. I make my own croutons from my Italian bread so I may have to add a little more salt along with the seasonings. I'm glad I pack my chicken breast singularly. It's gonna make this recipe a breeze and it won't take as long to bake. Thanks Jack :o)
@CaptChadd you shouldn't. My seasoning has only 9% salt. You just shouldn't add direct salt because the croutons have a certain saltiness to them already.
Hey Jack, got to ask, Seeing as we can't get your sauces/seasonings here in sunny (joke it's snowing right now) Scotland, is there a blend of spices you could recommend to mix together as a substitute? Not needing your recipe but an hint or two would be awesome so can recreate that great Jack taste. Oh btw, my mum asked me to thank you after I used you're eggnog recipe over Christmas and she absolutely loved it... although did double the alcohol in it lol.
@Amandaellohveee Sure, but remember that you'll have to add salt and other seasonings to the crumbs if they aren't already spiced up. Croutons come with tons of salt and spices in them.
@meeatfood2 warning, stupid question from a german is coming in your major direction. What the heck is baconaise? Mayonaise made from Bacon? How does that work?
@Zzroronoa From what i hear the mayo act cooks into the chicken making it moist and flavorful as mayo is made of oil and eggwhites with a few other ingredients something i wonder is if you could use this breading method with stuffed chicken like take your chicken breast maybe put a oyster stuffing or what ever stuffing you prefer then use the crumb and bake it off i think it would be pretty sweet none the less
@Thanatos420 you are too kind. Maybe God wants to keep me humble. I am okay with that. I am very happy withe the viewers I already have. You guys keep this show going. thank you for your kind words.
Weird question: Where can I get forks like the one at the end of this video? With the slot in the handle? Love the basic design of that. Definitely going to try this recipe too. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are probably my primary source of protein, always looking for new ones to do them up.
most people are fine with 720! its once you get into big tv's like 36 inches and above that resolutions above 720 are really needed, at least in my opinion.
"I know what I'm doing" no jack no you don't
just mix the spice and mayo in the measuring cup. one less dirty dish
This drove me nuts.. And he didnt scrape out the measuring cup.. Ugh
hi dad
BRING ON THE MAYO
when jack tells you to bake chicken for 30 minutes, you already know that you have to bake it for at least 2 hours, else it will run back to the store where it came from, cuz its still kickin.
You're so cringe bro.
Clukken
He put the croutons on top to hide the samonella
Man Critikal wasn't kidding when he said this guy is the mayor of mayonnaise
Pockit mayornaise
Thank god he cut from the side. The middle was probably still moving
@@danagrimwood1434 Exactly. I bet you could find an egg.
this mayo gives me a heartattack just from LOOKING at it.
I have a bad feeling about this
this is a culinary tragedy
Mayonnayse in the oven? Oh boi
literally just mayo on top of chicken lol
If it was actually a lazy recipe I would have just seasoned the mayo directly in the measuring cup if I were you so I wouldn't have to do more dishes lol

The real lazy thing to do was season the mayo in the measuring cup so you didn't dirty a new bowl just to mix it up.

I've made this with fresh grated Parmesan mixed into the Mayo
Jack why the hell is there a washer and dryer in your kitchen?
I made this tonight for dinner and I have to say it was the moistest chicken Ive ever made! Tasty too! I'll be making it again for sure!
ME TOO !
I am making this for dinner tonight. There is only a half hour left in the cooking time... I'm excited lol
Can you taste the Mayo coated thickly like that, or is it disguised under the croutons?
This reminds me of why I hated the "Shake & Bake" chicken my mom always used to make: it's chicken with sand on it.
i started watching your videos a while ago. watched brushetta first and subbed straight away!!! i love to try out the food you show!!! doesnt always go well though haha can't wait to see what you come up with for 100th episode!! :)
I'm not a huge fan of mayo, but if I put extra seasoning to kind of mask the taste of the mayo, do you think that would be fine?
Will be trying this..Looks delish, and will be buying your seasoning and sauces too...Thanks...👍👏
What is wrong with you?
vintage jack much better than now

The proper name for this dish is "dumpster juice"
Oh my god, garbage juice!!! In a angry voice

@Morpun it's for a dish that feeds four. So little of it makes it to your plate.
@DVDBOFF go to the slap chop website and see if they ship to the UK
@blackfeng0 we are only on episode #95. I have done other vids that don't count as episodes. hang in there.

@TheJethrotull32 mayo alternatives are: yogurt, sour cream, or onion dip
Okay, I made this today with homemade mayo (easier than going out in a storm) and seasoned homemade bread crumbs. Amazing, and so easy. Thanks!!
r u dead
@@randomstories_667 😂🤣
I made this yesterday for dinner with my girlfriend. SO GOOD! Two thumbs way up! And super easy! We had a blast making it together.
Thanks Jack!
What's inside your gourmet seasoning?
@OsoMagnifico abour 2 pounds, i think. it's in the recipe in the description box.

This guy needs someone he can trust.
Can I use breadcrumbs? We dont have croutons.
I love your channel and think your awesome thx for sharing great recipes. But I was wondering is there anything else I can use besides mayo? Cause I don't like mayo. Appreciate any suggestions u can give me thank you.
@djteac Don't worry it's not a stupid question. It's homemade mayo made with equal parts oil and bacon fat. It's great on burgers and fries
@odoyle77 instead of croutons use breadcrumbs or crushed ritz crackers.
yes. flat baking dish is fine as long as it has a small lip on the edge to keep juice in.

@mmiguy2306 I have an hd camera. Does youtube allow 1080P. I only go up to 720 and that is what I use.
This recipe is amazing!!! Made it the other night and all I can say is thank you Jack:)
@dragonfablepwns in the video I give substitute options. go look.
@djteac I will get one and start using it. Thanks.
@dadddycool or even lemon pepper. Your right. Some citrus helps.
hey jack is it possible to use ranch instead of mayo? please reply asap I can't wait to make this!
Mr. Scamfaili, "I suck at cooking" is gonna be your new channel name
@djteac
the formula to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit is, Fahrenheit = Celsius X 9/5 + 32 ... so 75 degrees Celsius is roughly 167 Fahrenheit
@CaptChadd you shouldn't. My seasoning has only 9% salt. You just shouldn't add direct salt because the croutons have a certain saltiness to them already.
God, that looks sooooo delicious! Also, where did you get your square plates?

The best recipe I had a pleasure in finding.
Hope you enjoy
This looks sooo yummy
@jakatak69 I thought you said don't put salt in the Mayo?
Is that low fat mayo mayo has sooo many calories especially in that quantity
@Amandaellohveee
Sure, but remember that you'll have to add salt and other seasonings to the crumbs if they aren't already spiced up. Croutons come with tons of salt and spices in them.
hows the texture on this?
Love your spoons! Do you remember where you got them? Love your videos!
@dunkmack very cool idea.
@ConDemZ if you sent it, I will show it. hang in there.
I've done the same recipe with fish fillets (not from frozen).
it's not a bad Idea to add some lime or lemon juice to your seasoned mayo.

@nintendoatarikiller seasoning. LOL just kidding. the label reads onion, garlic, salt, spices. we don't tell the other spices.
@Thanatos420 you are too kind. Maybe God wants to keep me humble. I am okay with that. I am very happy withe the viewers I already have. You guys keep this show going. thank you for your kind words.
@koletsa4ever working on those right now. probably after the 100th episode. very very soon. it's at the top of my list.

Cooking straight from frozen. Scary
@SlateCreekProduction yogurt or sour cream or onion dip.

Yogurt chicken is so good! Just add some shredded dry aged parm!😋😋
