"You can tell people from starbucks to do do anything and they would do it" While that might be true, you would be known as a jerk customer if you did tell them to "stand on one leg and stir to the left" abusing his power as 'always being right' lol
In the restaurant business, many years ago, I learned to do bacon on a sheet pan in the oven. No curling of the bacon and no splatter. You can line the sheet pan with tin foil for ease of clean up. I do it at 350 degrees. Perfect every time !
7:56 Ironic he should say "make sure your hands are washed" when there are quite a few videos where he doesn't wash his hands after handling chicken or meats and cross contaminates everything.
Not defending the guy but I was a professional chef for 16 years. Won awards and had a lot of fun in the industry until I quit to take care of my TBI father and pursue family life with my husband. I enjoyed starbucks for many of those years. Can tell you its a matter of taste not a matter of quality. I used to go to caribou coffee where I live but made the switch after they closed down. I don't drink coffee but I started going to Caribou because they had a delicious hot apple cider. Hot apple blast it was called. When I had to switch over to Starbucks I was mighty disheartened at first because I thought it was just going to be a complete downgrade. However they treat me well, can make a mean custom drink for me. I still make all the food in my family and I don't claim to be the best out there or even great. But I do make good food in general and most around me tend to think I have a good bead on making food for them. Just sayin I wouldn't use that as a justification :).
@Gigas0101 Thanks for the kind words. I am kind of nervous about the bison. I have been told that you can't cook the bison too much or it will get tough. We are doing bison tacos and bison burgers.
Way back in the day they used a tool called a "Bacon Press". It was made out of Cast Iron and weighed about 2 lbs or more. Those worked wonders. Bacon came out flat and evenly cooked on both sides without having to turn it. As far as your looks? You look like Jack Scalfani to me.
@EtherBoo I try not to do seasoning because sometimes when I do, people think that's the only seasoning they can use. I will try to do more of the seasoning that I do and make mention that everyone's taste buds are different and to season with what you like.
I've never heard of rolling bacon or forking it like that. Very interesting. I usually bake my bacon now on a baking sheet at 375, but am curious to fork it and see it work.
Hey Jack! I have a question and a tip for making eggs over medium (a style my roommates love BTW). My question: if I fork the bacon and cook it on an electric griddle with it still come out flat or do I have to fry it in a pan? My tip: try using a frosting spatula, the ones with a heat-resistant silicone tip at the end, to flip your eggs over. They slide under easier and I rarely break any part of the eggs when I flip them. Thanks for another great episode!
@GottofLAN a lot of what I do like flipping eggs and using cherry tomatoes comes from how my mom raised me. Sunny side up is good, too. Most Americans each over easy or scrambled.
@matzahdog Just letting you know what my favorite drink is. I get no money for any product I show on the show. I promise. I just think it's cool to let you guys know different things about me, like what I like to order at Starbucks.
Just a couple of things. Why no seasoning? The hasbrowns look good visually, but they have no seasoning on them, even if something basic like salt and pepper (I like Smoked Paprika among other things), same goes for the eggs. Secondly, you can get the eggs to cook much more evenly if you crack them in a bowl first and pour them from the bowl into the pan. This prevents breaking a yolk when it's too late as well (already cooking in the pan). Good call on the bacon, did not know that!
If you don't want bacon to curl up, you gotta trick it. Put it in a cold pan and let it get hot really slow. The bacon is like "mhm yeah its getting a bit warm in here i think" and the bacon is done before it realises that there is heat. The Curling comes from too much heat applied to fast.
That's a great looking breakfast. I always fail at over easy eggs. I usually start by breaking the yolk, then cook them too hot or not hot enough and the yolk hardens.
I thought you kinda looked like that jack scalfani guy from the net. Nice plug for Crown Blue Bison there, SERIOUSLY can't wait for the bison episode! I gotta get some buffalo... Your show always makes me hungry and improves the quality of my meals, keep up the good work and thank you.
I saw a different way of making hash browns once just if you were interested. You start by cooking the whole potatoes (unpeeled) on a tray on rock salt in the oven for 45 minutes at 180C. then you peel them, grate them and give them a quick deep fry. I've only made them like that once and they turned out great. I suggest trying it.
there is a place i go to in kansas called stacy's resturant the hash browns that they serve. mom told me about how they make the hash browns is that they boil the potatoes then freeze the potatoes then defrosted them then they shredded them then cooked them of course
I see you shop at Costco. I admit, I am a bacon hater... but, sometimes I scorch it i the pan just to use the grease to cook eggs. I use cooking spray and butter, we don't use non-stick pans so the way a pan is lubricated becomes very important.
@AsiansGotSkillz yes. The houses in my neighborhood were build in 1960's and they used to do that so the wife could cook and wash laundry. Now it's just good for extra counter space. LOL
why do i watch your videos right before going to sleep for the night? Guess I'll have to go get another midnight snack........aaaagh !!! Why didn't you use the EZ Cracker to crack the eggs? LOL
Sweet, i always thought hasbrowns were hard to make, i think ill make hashbrown and a spicy omelettte(chilli's tomatoes and ham) with toast. Ive learnt to make me some good breakfast, thanks Jack =D
i think if you tell them to stand on one leg while they stir your coffee at starbuck's they'll also spit in it.
i would
If this dude told me to stir to the left I'd put salt in his coffee
He wouldn't be able to tell.
he gon tell the world it was the best coffee he ever had
No you wouldn't
You look like Jack from Cooking with Jack.
yo no way
you look like grown up Cartman
Lmao
HAHA I can't believe I've never seen this before
Naw he's a jew
He looks like Al from Toy Story 2
😂
"take cherry tomatoes and slice them in half if you are at home okay?" Only at home can you slice cherry tomatoes, this is very important.
Six splendas. Why.
Foxtrot Look at his body. He don’t give a DAMN
It’s unlocks the stroke feature

I like to think hes just trying to get people to ask them to do something silly 😂
but that laugh tho.
@@thanos-infinitegauntles9329 no
Did this man say SIX SPLENDAS
In the restaurant business, many years ago, I learned to do bacon on a sheet pan in the oven. No curling of the bacon and no splatter. You can line the sheet pan with tin foil for ease of clean up. I do it at 350 degrees. Perfect every time !
Zen SPIKE and you don’t have to mutilate your bacon to do so
I sometimes do that if I just want bacon on its own. But most of the time when I have bread laying around I fry the bread in the leftover bacon fat.
Plus you don’t fork all that plastic into your bacon. That isn’t good for you. Great looking meal though.
7:56 Ironic he should say "make sure your hands are washed" when there are quite a few videos where he doesn't wash his hands after handling chicken or meats and cross contaminates everything.
the only thing he seasoned on that plate was the tomato…
I have never, not once in my life, had potatoes turn pink or orange.
Hey jack you treat them like that and they spit in your coffee...
Secret menu item^^
This is the most uninspiring cooked breakfast I’ve ever seen
Aye Jack me lad, bit late on this one, but what yous gon want tae do is show the cherry tomatoes a bit of pan as well. Makes them well nice
I like the way you talk😁
*aye jack me lad*
This show is an absolute crime
Why on Earth would you throw eggshells in the sink
Ah, I see you also enjoy seasoning your hash browns with lint.
"Isn't that beautiful." - Jack Scalfani
didn’t even realize that box was back there lol
0:31 they don't get paid enough to deal with your crappy dad jokes.
@jeremylim123 I used Russet Potatoes. You can use any kind you want. I believe the normally used one is russet. be sure to peel it first.
i would not trust a starbucks customer with food

If you want flat bacon put it in the oven never ever poke your bacon with a fork
that is one giant potatoe pancake without the onions and seasoning....
In south Texas the Breakfast Champions is menudo. Lol
@Firter thanks for your patience.
@EtherBoo I try not to do seasoning because sometimes when I do, people think that's the only seasoning they can use. I will try to do more of the seasoning that I do and make mention that everyone's taste buds are different and to season with what you like.
3:00 Jack, did you just apologize to the box? Haha! Tsk tsk tsk!
I've never heard of rolling bacon or forking it like that. Very interesting. I usually bake my bacon now on a baking sheet at 375, but am curious to fork it and see it work.
Hope you enjoy
BAKING IS PROBABLY TRULY THE BEST WAY.
What’s salt and pepper?
Hey, Jack. Thanks so much for the bacon flattening tip. It makes it so much easier to fit in my sandwiches. Have a great day!
Venti Cafe Americano with 6 Splenda and cream stirred to the left
😂
Why doesn't it look safe?
Hey Jack!
I have a question and a tip for making eggs over medium (a style my roommates love BTW).
My question: if I fork the bacon and cook it on an electric griddle with it still come out flat or do I have to fry it in a pan?

@benolovesbekki just cut the plastic out and roll the bacon in foil. This tip is only if you buy it and will freeze it for a later use.
Thanks for the tips i have never herd of fliping the eggs
The way you pronounce “hash.browns” pisses me off way more than it should.
I promise. I just think it's cool to let you guys know different things about me, like what I like to order at Starbucks.
he didn’t season his eggs-
Bro, six Splenda?
try seasoning your hash browns with seasoned salt (msg free), pepper, and granulated garlic!
Looks great, except for the flipped fried eggs. I don't like fried eggs that were cooked on both sides, I prefer them sunny side up.
@vital8 it's room temp. I'd rather the bacon be not hot then any of the other items. You don't have a choice when cooking that all by yourself.
Just a couple of things. Why no seasoning? The hasbrowns look good visually, but they have no seasoning on them, even if something basic like salt and pepper (I like Smoked Paprika among other things), same goes for the eggs.

Jack, I see that you use the can cooking spray; you should review Mr. Mister. It's much cheaper than buying cooking spray. ($10 one time purchase)
This is actually appetizing, and probably the least cholesterol loaded thing he has ever made.
if you don't like seasoning
@prncsspita thank you. I will look into it. God bless you and your dad, too.
That bacon tip seemed pretty useful
Can you say liquid diabetes.
9:12 I challenge anyone to get any egg (or most edible things really) to stick to a good-condition teflon pan.
it only takes an hour to make!!! yay!
That's a great looking breakfast. I always fail at over easy eggs. I usually start by breaking the yolk, then cook them too hot or not hot enough and the yolk hardens.
Why don't you just take the towel and dump the whole thing in the pan? Same with the wax paper...
@Tippy2forU I may not live in NY, but I will keep that in mind. I am seriously going to try to remember that. Thanks.
Urmm sorry Jack but just a quick question. What kind of potatoes would you recommend or say that it will taste great with it?
Just wondering who are you saying sorry to at 3:00?
I thought you kinda looked like that jack scalfani guy from the net. Nice plug for Crown Blue Bison there, SERIOUSLY can't wait for the bison episode! I gotta get some buffalo... Your show always makes me hungry and improves the quality of my meals, keep up the good work and thank you.
You look like Pete from goofy movie
Instead of FORKING your bacon just start it in a cold pan. It won't curl up. Love the tip on rolling the bacon. Love your shows!
@Tippy2forU then what goes in the garbage disposal?
7:11 what the hell 💀💀💀
What??
Why didn't you season the hashbrowns or eggs?
my favorite meal, thanks billy joel!
@djteac if you don't flip them then they are called "sunny side up"
very common here in America, too.

@LegoBoyLego See I told you. LOL
did you get the cafe americano on ice? How was it? it's a butt kicker.
@DrakoNemesis English love their breakfast. Amercans love their dinners. Mexicans love their lunches/siestas.
How the hell are we supposed to see the box when you standing in front of it, covering the whole kitchen?
Why do you flip the eggs? we never do it in Denmark
I got to do this tomorrow ! It looks so good
there is a place i go to in kansas called stacy's resturant the hash browns that they serve. mom told me about how they make the hash browns is that they boil the potatoes then freeze the potatoes then defrosted them then they shredded them then cooked them of course
Oh my god, Once that picture of Al from Al's Toy Barn came up on the screen, I literally broke out laughing. Well done sir, well done indeed.
Love this show!
wen i did the hash browns.....the potatoes fell apart wen it was in the pan....wat happened?
wow i see that final shot of everything and bam my mouth was drewling
that looks so good!
and you looking like al from toy story is hilarious!
Many spatulas aren't "sharp" enough so get someone to "sharpen" the front edge. Maybe a little sharper than a table knife.
@TheJagdog scramble green onions and tomatoes and a little cheese in it at the very end.
@moronicron btw if the fries are hot and meatballs are cold its a great mix
I see you shop at Costco.
I admit, I am a bacon hater... but, sometimes I scorch it i the pan just to use the grease to cook eggs. I use cooking spray and butter, we don't use non-stick pans so the way a pan is lubricated becomes very important.
No salt or pepper..... on anything .....
@dixielee323 thanks. I'm a big Kevin Smith fan.
Never heard of the "fork your bacon" trick before. I'll be doing that tomorrow Thanks, Jack!
what is that red thing
@AsiansGotSkillz yes. The houses in my neighborhood were build in 1960's and they used to do that so the wife could cook and wash laundry. Now it's just good for extra counter space. LOL
Thanks for the tips!! Ur awesome
why do i watch your videos right before going to sleep for the night? Guess I'll have to go get another midnight snack........aaaagh !!!
Why didn't you use the EZ Cracker to crack the eggs? LOL
Man I love this show. Please turn the comments back on 🙏
hahhaa...you crack me up! Al from Al's toy barn!!! That is actually quite funny how you do favor him in character form..lol
@mommamackie I will keep that in mind. Very smart idea. Italians will make their Christmas meatballs with 1/3 veal , 1/3 pork, 1/3 beef. way amazing.
We do the same trick to the bacon at Subway when we're opening the packages. Works wonders (on pre-cooked bacon too)
@bamababy4913 good to see you back. I will have to visit the grits thing on breakfast #3.
Sweet, i always thought hasbrowns were hard to make, i think ill make hashbrown and a spicy omelettte(chilli's tomatoes and ham) with toast.
Ive learnt to make me some good breakfast, thanks Jack =D
@zombiejlt1 your bacon will still come out flat.
hmmmm. Spatula, huh?
I will have to try it. Much thinner, too.
thanks.
