Turn him in to the secretary of state. He's selling cars without a license, bond, insurance, maybe not transferring title, Income Tax. This guy needs to get busted by a buyer
@Anthony lee Michigan law states that you can sell only five cars in a year without a dealer license (three in my state of Florida) AND if he's signing a fake name on the title, which also avoids him paying sales tax on that transaction, that's all illegal. That's why he uses fake names. Also, if he doesn't put his name as the buyer on a title when he buys it, then sells it to someone else directly from the previous owner, that's illegal too. Just on the sale to the man with the red car, there's at least one felony involved.
@@mrwp819300 when the buyer registers the vehicle the buyer will pay the sales tax at the tag office. There needs to be a bill of sale along with the signed title transferring it to the buyer.
@Anthony lee In most states, a car dealer is someone who completes a series of transactions in order to make a profit (no minimum, this would include flippers). Some states have a minimum number of cars to sell. In that case, you need to have a car dealer's license. This guy is obviously a dealer, not just someone selling his old car. The licensing process requires a having a surety bond.

I guarantee that the owners of these cars are aware that this guy is committing fraud on a government applications and they allowed and helped him. Anything sold as junk should not be able to be titled and it was able to be titled with a reciept that said junk so the state is also a perpetrator in the fraud.
Had the scumbag registered the sale with the state, which he's required to do, the title would've said salvage on it. Come to think of it, the salvage yard that sold it is required to title it, if I'm not mistaken. Example: car is Wrecked and totalled, insurance sells it as junk to the tow yard. If they are going to sell it, they are supposed to title it in their name (company) and declare it salvaged. Then anyone after that that buys it can see it was totalled or junked. A lot of this crap, at least in my state of Florida goes back to when the state removed the requirement to have every sale notarized and even sale had to be registered with the state, sales tax paid, etc. On the completed title, you couldn't sell it unless you applied for a new title in the new owner's name. Then it could be sold. Since they removed the notarization requirement, people will buy a cheap car, the seller signs the title over, then the scumbag scammer sells it to someone else claiming they are the person that sold it to them. Once sold, one transaction doesn't get sales tax paid and the person that ends up with the car and it breaks down doesn't know who sold it to them so they're screwed. Also, this process allows someone to sell more that three cars per year without a dealer license. Removal of a forced notary stamp on each sale was backwards-assed of the state and opened up a floodgates of this shit down here. It happens hundreds of times per day and FB marketplace is probably 75% scammers like this guy down here in my area. What's amazing is it is very well known and yet the state does nothing about it and people just keep falling for it. A car that is listed for 75% below market value is more times than not a POS.
I have been victimized by one of these creeps and so has my daughter. They always want to meet at some location other than " their" house and the car has always been in the family for some time, but they have to sell for some sad reason. I learned my lesson and will buy from either friends or a reputable dealer. Ask the seller to let you take the car to a mechanic of your choice for an evaluation. Also in California, my former state of residence, you must have a dealer's license if you sell more than a certain number of vehicles per year. If the deal sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
I agree with you except the part about meeting at "Their house" to look at a vehicle. I am an Auto mechanic that repairs vehicles on the side and sells them to people after doing repairs that I can show people and show receipts for. But I learned a long time ago I do not meet anyone at my home just for the safety of my family. You wouldn't believe some of the scumbag druggies or cocky wannabe "Gangsta's" showing up to look at cars I had advertised online or in the newspaper (when I first started it was advertising in the local newspaper because there was no internet!). I started meeting people at a local grocery store parking lot's where I knew there were cameras and I have a CHL (Concealed Handgun License) so I always carry in case I sell a vehicle and I am carrying cash from the sale. In some ways it is actually better for the buyer if they have to meet somewhere because that way the vehicle is already up to operating temperature, or already overheating, leaking fluids like coolant, oil, transmission fluid. etc. Just make sure it isn't in some dark alley or out in the middle of nowhere!
This is why i always buy new and scrap the cars without giving up the title. Nobody owned it before me and the junk yard has to obtain their own title to try to sell it. Most of these losers flip title’s instead of paying for registration and the previous owner will be on the hook for parking tickets and tow/impound fees.

Samme her!
Guys, always take a vehicle you’re considering buying to a mechanic you know and trust, or at least spend $150 on a decent code reader, and always code read something before buying it. $150 is change compared to thousands and thousands of wasted dollars on a crap car or repairs for it.
And not even kidding I would move to Michigan just to see this badass man on tv everyday he makes the news worth watching. When the crook said, “If you don’t give me my keys back!” - “What are you gonna do?” Savage.
Thank you for your service Wolcheck.
We NEED some update!!! I love all of these videos of this segment HOWEVER, it would be SOOOO much better if we were given updates of the status of the scammers, even if they were only jailed for a little and got out already. Also wanna hear if ANY B victims got any justice or are at least likely on the road to getting it!!!
The "Star of David" background 😂😂
keep it up these stories are the best
The 'used-car creep' may be an a-hole, but the guy who bought a car without test-driving it first deserves high repair bills.
Great journalism
you all need to give this guy a key to the city
John Killie just wanted the key to his van!
