One thing I’ve learned from binge watching Cops is everyone is on meth and nobody has a license.
From watching all these videos I will say I 100% agree with your assessment.
Lmfao no shit eh 🤣🤣🤣
And no one wears their own pants

Hahahaha🤭😂
Ex user here, even when I was using I’d never lie and try and say it wasn’t mine when it was on my persons or in a purse that was obviously mine lol. I’m actually glad that I got caught once because that’s all it took! I got into a program and completed it and now I have zero record and I’m 4+ years in recovery!
Good for you. Keep up the positive view.
Glad to hear that, Lacey! Keep building on that success and stay positive.
Do you have kids
One day at a time Lacey! Merry Christmas to you.
There are no ex users. Once a user, always a user. What you meant to say is no one caught you in 4 years.
The first guy when the cop said I'm just asking questions he said " well stop it " made me holler 😂
Any time you see an older model Oldsmobile or Cadillac you know you're in for a good episode.

I cackled at that 🤣
Don't answer questions ever, even if ur guilty, dude coulda escaped a charge or 3 dismissed or thrown out all together
Chad Ditch is Joe Dirt's cousin!
I died at that too. And then he said he was just eating is why he had the white powder on his lap. The cop said “what food has a white powder like that?”
He should have said he was just eating a powdered donut lmao
😂😂😂
The good ol’ “these aren’t my pants” excuse. I love that one. It works exactly ZERO percent of the time.
Every time I barrow someone's pants and I get searched by the police they have hidden drugs in them. And for some reason they don't believe me when I say they aren't mine.
I love hearing meth lies 😂

Funny, but the cops shit talkin was very unprofessional. Get to the point and quit flexin' your cop power.
And then he followed up pantaloons with afoot. 😄
Yesss agreed love how he said pants
What I've gathered from watching these clips.
1. Have a license thats valid and up to date.
2. Make sure I am driving my own vehicle and not my cousins, ex, or friends.
3. Keep all drugs, perscriptions, guns, alcohol at home.
4. Don't pick up strangers.
5. Make sure I have proper tags, license plate and proper functions on my vehicle.
6. Be honest about where I'm going/what I am doing. Have a valid story and not make shit up that makes zero sense on the fly.
8. Dont be out at 2/3 in the morning.
You need to update your #2. Or don't drive a vehicle somebody brought or sold you 30 minutes ago 😅. I've heard that on these videos a lot.
10. Don’t drive while under the influence
11. Don't get your socks wet in cold weather
Always use your own pants.
How are you ever going to have any fun 😂🎉
The dog never does anything unusual. But it's always "the dog alerted on your vehicle".😂
I’ve worked for k9 training companies. It’s mostly fabrication of evidence to build a case or gain consent. Dogs are about as accurate as a coin toss. They just want a reason to take away your rights, don’t give it to em.
i think when it like wags its tail or acts all excited, i think thats when he alerts, but i could be wrong.
I've noticed when they sit that's them when they say it. It may not be the way they all do it.
A ruse for probable cause. When drug dogs 'alert', 44% of the time they find drugs, so 56% of the times it's a false alert. No drugs found. Sounds random to me. (EDIT: of course they're not going to show false positives on a show that promotes the police)
@@ElSantoLuchadorcops train dogs to do a fake alert shit should be illegal
That last one was heavy. It looks like they really caught the dude right before he was about to take his own life. They saved him that night, and I hope he got the help he needed and turned his life around.
Yeah it hit home for me. I was at that stage once . Took 3 bottles of pills and washed it down with 18 cans in a few hours and slashed through veins with a razor blade. I passed out think oh well this is it.I woke up the next morning, on the tiles surrounded by a huge puddle of congealed blood, took myself to hospital where I had to admit what I'd done and spent the next hour getting stitched up and super glued. Then another 4 days locked in a phsc ward. These days I can't do more than 2 days in hospital before going batty. I have checked myself out a number of times when they thought I was close to a heart attack because it's less stress to be at home. I didn't tell anyone what I was about to do then and I could see it in the young blokes eyes. I hope he's ok
"I've never drove a stolen vehicle, so this is my first time" my god lol

I used to watch Cops every Saturday night with my six-year-old daughter. She thought they took people to jail for smoking cigarettes.
Damn near every single person they’ve ever arrested had one or asked for one 😂😂
I love the ‘ these pants aren’t mine’ lie 😂 never gets old. No drug user is just gonna give away their drugs for free. Stuff is not cheap
It’s like al those people who go round pouring double vodkas in to the drivers small beer in pubs.
So generous!!!!
First bs they think of cause it’s all they think about. Burning a hole in your pocket.
I know a guy that actually tried that. "These aren't my pants. They're my sons!" 😅
The hippies were funny and the cops were not as harsh to them which makes it wholesome
Dude works at a hair salon for the rich.
I'm a recovering heroin, fentanyl and crack addict. I was also escorting and living out of hotels and motels. I was always honest with the police. They're not dumb 😂 and they're so used to being lied too that when someone is honest with them they will definitely do what they can to help you out! It was a long time before I was put in jail by a judge because I always was respectful and honest and I know ppl say the police aren't the judge and jury and that's true but best believe that police report is following you to court and will be taken into consideration for sure. Everything happens for a reason. When a judge finally put me in prison, I found out I was pregnant (only 6 weeks thank god!) and I've been sober ever since. My son turned 3 in December of 2022 and I will have 4 years clean in July 2023.
how do you go almost two months without knowing?
Happy you were able to find sobriety and wish you the best!
@@yurrbruhh most women do not know until 6 weeks, weeks 4-7 are statistically the weeks women tend to find out. In fact half of all women have no pregnancy symptoms at all until 5-6 weeks. Not to mention most women don’t take monthly pregnancy tests. Don’t ask a stupid question half of all mothers could answer
@@maggiebottoms6526 I'm a man and you r really right about being pregnant and not knowing you are not going through morning sickness and all the things you go through when pregnant your just staring to show I believe if that just a little bit 😁💯 but he shouldn't be judging you when you're a woman and you know more than he would your The one who is carrying the baby
And honesty goes a long ways it doesn't keep you out of trouble for most things but they trust you more and they treat you better and what you get charged with is reported by the police when they right a sworn statement saying what your being charged with then when they take you to jail it's not in there hands anymore and if you have a good record they will give you a few chances before you do some time I remember a few days and then ten days then 30lol but I'm glad you are doing good
That last officer has a good heart. He sets an example all LE should strive for.
Lol, they’re literally taking him to jail, he’s going to have tons of charges and they threw him on tv. Even the editors had their fun by cutting the video and fading the theme song over it the second any human moment occurs. Telling him to call the cops if having suicidal thoughts? That’s incredibly stupid, they don’t want to or have the capacity to help. Cops is fun, but it’s also coppaganda. These men aren’t good. If they actually wanted to help, they would have stopped recording, confiscated the weapons and contraband, and reached out to a social worker/ councilor who can actually make any impact. This was exploitation and propaganda to get viewers to think exactly the way you fell into.

I can't imagine working in a job where everyone lies to you all day or night. This is why Police Officers can kind of be on edge. These officers are awesome.
Every job I ever had repairing autos was like that.
That's the number one difference between when this show first started filming, the cops' behavior toward everyone. No screaming, cursing, rudeness and attitude like nowadays.
And two, the drugs were always "minor" compared to these days. Pot, pot. Some crack cocaine, etc. Now, it's meth, meth, more meth and fentanyl laced stuff.
“You don’t know much do you John” “no” 😂

Thanks for being decent to the last guy when you found out he was suicidal. Sometimes, that's all it takes, a little kindness when everything seems to be hopeless. I've been there and try to pay it forward when I can. Sometimes we all need some help and compassion.

You need to read people better, that was more fake empathetic. He didn’t say to call him(the cop speaking) he said to call the police, meaning OTHER police BESIDES him.

Wow, from finding scales to finding suicide notes-the quick switch of demeanor was in my opinion probably spot on for the boys in blue.
I was always addicted to something, but I have been in recovery for the past decade from drugs. Six years from alcohol. I know the thought process, if I had ever come across the police I would have been honest, it is your best option.
As a retired Cop, We have our addictions also. What We see, hear and are exposed to hardens the spirit and hurts the soul. It accumulates exponentially. At time We feel helpless to do anything except what our instincts tell Us to do. If You can separate Work from Home life than You have a chance.

That last clip is the true treasure of this whole video... being understood and listened to is underrated.
Sometimes I think my life’s a bit dull and boring then I watch a few of these videos and think “Woo Hoo! I love being dull and boring “
As an ex junkie I did envy the boring life when I was using lol
As long as we don't overdo dull and boring. A lot of non dull and exiting things to do that have NOTHING to do with crime.
A wise man sees boring as no need for drama.
That last one ... wow. You immediately notice the shift in the officers once they realize what's going on. Went from "you're up to something shady, do as you're told" to being calm and empathetic, and even letting him know to call them if he ever feels that way again.
Just goes to show, you never know what someone else is going through. I understand cops tend to have to keep the "no-nonsense" attitude because they get lied to constantly, but hats off to these two who know when to shelf that demeanour and switch to a softer approach. In all likelihood, they prevented that man from getting that last push that would tip him over the edge.
Made me tear up. You can even see it in the man’s face when they asked him what he planned to do that night that he wasn’t in his best mindset. Good cops
Yeah that was heavy.
I hope he is doing better now.
The first thing I noticed was his eyes. He had sad eyes and when he started tearing up I felt so bad for him, you could tell he was deeply hurting. Respect to the cops that realized what was going on and treating him like a person.
I absolutely love the excuses and reasons these people come up with best entertainment ever ❤

any attorney will tell you to NEVER speak to a police officer. you're only incriminating yourself and violating your 5th amendment a right granted to us per the thing call the United States Constitution
I love the last one...Showed humanity...in the 90's..
God bless those in recovery, u r stronger than this!
❤️💙💚💛🧡
that last clip hit me kinda hard.Feel bad for folks in this kinda mental state.Mental Health is a BIG problem in this country.
26 years of sobriety here and no idea how I'm one of the fortunate ones... unless it was because I saw something in the eyes of those who made it before me.
Recovery happens and it's flipping awesome.
Big hugs to you guys.
Take care out there.

The old "they're no my pants, not my pockets" excuse. Lol
I watched a video couple months ago & the girl was saying they weren't her pockets on the jacket or whatever she was wearing. It was on Ragical's channel & I was dying laughing 😂
